this place should average 4.5 stars. i'm not a local and over the last year i've bought the gang breakfast tacos. i've tried at least 8 places. this is the best. no hanks espanol so it doesn't always feel comfortable and if u just walked in and looked it appears they are just cranking them out. i'm sure you can criticize these tacos in some way but they are pretty awesome and my guys love the barbacoa and most of the rest, but the best part is the tortillas are homemade and super fresh. while it looks like a lunch line and my alien-ness is not celebrated. this is the best everyday taco in town as far as i'm concerned. and there's only one sit down restaurant i'd rather go at twice the price. plus the green chile sauce is creamy and awesome! read more

I went to get tacos once before to get the special they advertise on a huge banner, but it's NOT 3 tacos for $2.99. they charged me like $4 & change. The lady told me the special was for cash only. So, a few weeks we went by, I wanted to grab tacos & they changed me $4.69. I said, oh I was going to pay cash. She said, "so?". I said "well the other lady said it's cheaper with cash". She said "no she didn't". This went back & forth, basically calling me a liar. She had an attitude. I just drove off. All I ordered was a water, and paid .80 cents. I tipped only cause the lady looked bothered and I felt bad. I get my drink, and there's a bug. I took it out because I was so thirty, I would have still drank it. But then changed my mind. I nicely ask the lady if she can get me another drink cause of the bug. She refuses because she doesn't see the bug. After a while of me showing her on the napkin, she finally changes out my water. She only dumps out my drink and uses the same cup. I just took it the way it was because I was tired of arguing with her over the simplest order someone could possibly get. read more

Been to the Tony's on Drake and Nogalitos many times. This is my first time to this location. Nice selection of Mexican food. I ordered huevo rancheros with lengua. It came with regrows beans and potatoes. The lengua was nice and tender. Good tortillas. Good coffee. read more

Been going to this place since I moved into the neighborhood, the tacos are really good. Regularly get the bean and cheese and chorizo con papas or the carne guisada. Some problems I've had is getting chorizo con papas with 95% potato and hardly any bits of chorizo, some times the beans are off, and they regularly overcharge me by a couple cents (which does add up over time and it varies from person to person) plus the couple cent extra charge for using a card (which is understandable). I'd go else where if this place wasn't so convenient though. read more

This is my taco place they literally have grandmas making flour tortillas right in front of you stuffing them with a world of flavor!!! And not the run of the mill tacos (nothing wrong with that ) but the good stuff like puerco en chile rojo, chicarron en salsa, puerco and nopales, pork chop tacos.... it just keeps going. Went in for breakfast. This is a popular local place that if your not careful you'll miss it. I would recommend getting it to go but they have a couple of stools and a counter to sit at but little or no A/C. The quality is pretty good, but wouldn't say outstanding, but the number of different types of tacos they offer are phenomenal. read more
