Came here to celebrate with another couple since we both had toddler free time and it was sadly wasted here. Our reservation was at 12:30pm and we were not seated until 1:55pm. The whole time the hostesses had no clue what to do and after asking when we'd reasonably be seated (after promising we were next to be seated to have other parties taken out of order because they were friends with staff) I was told that people didn't want to get up after their 2 hour time slot was done and that they didn't know what to do. Which I don't believe because the security guard was yelling at someone to move their vehicle from in front of the establishment as my group walked up and he had NO ISSUE BEING ASSERTIVE. So what are we talking about?? I am really surprised with the lack of planning and outright lack of common sense to follow your own posted policy. The food was terrible- I may as well have skipped eating but I already waited so long to be seated that my group was starving and willing to eat anything to keep from passing out. This place won't make it here if they can't get it together. The DJs were great but that's not enough to keep this place open. read more

Chako's Social advertised a costume contest for one thousand dollars. There were many costume there on Halloween so to my surprise after last call and one song everyone was asked to leave. When someone brought up the contest there bouncers had already got everyone out. The contest was never held. Hundred or more participants were cheated out of what was promised. Went for the R&B event. Was looking forward to it only to be disappointed. Nothing was organized when we got there. Had to ask for menus. Constantly flagged our waitress down for drinks. She didn't even know what was going on, she said they just threw her out there. Food arrived super late. On top of that one of the guy from the event was so rude and told us we had to leave after we had just ordered a tower of beer because the table was reserved for someone else!! The way he came about it was just not right and it just killed the vibe. Left and went somewhere to spend our money. came here to watch a basketball game on a Thursday night. Total group size was four people. I'm a big fan of the wings and fries. They'll make your wings to order which is pretty cool of them. However, service could've been better. They were having an employee party, which is understandable, but why not shut down the restaurant for that? Anyway my bad review comes with the check and the hospitality fee we were charged and not told about. Keep in mind the menu says it's automatically added to parties five or larger but as I mentioned my party is only four people. Mind you, I tipped on top of the fee. They also don't show you your check, they just bring out the payment device to your table. If I hadn't asked for the check to split it with my girls, I would've never known. I've tried calling and leaving voicemails to get ahold of the manager for a refund, but they don't answer their phone (it's a robot) and they don't call back to voicemails. So I disputed the fee with my bank. Won't be coming back. read more

I was so excited that I finally found a sing a long RNB/2000s music brunch spot near me! I went with 5 friends to celebrate my birthday and regret it. The only memorable thing was how disappointing it was all. There was a ridiculous wait even if we had reservations, then hate to wait longer for our food to come out, and they say bottomless for an hour but barely come around to refill you. When the food finally came out it was cold, the staff was nice and apologetic but there seemed to be some hostility between management and servers. I didn't even walk into this place but the bouncer was such an a-hole to my friend. She said she didnt want to go inside as we were passing and he came out from the other end to meet us just so he could call her a toddler and say she was acting childish for not wanting to go inside. Even the other bouncers were telling him to stop. He kept insulting my friend until we were finally crossing the street. Idk how a place that's new expects to find customers when their bouncers are acting out uncontrollably as soon as someone says no to them. Good music afterwards and they set a vibe for nightlife in Fullerton that is more like a club experience that makes it easy to hangout and also dance. Will def be back! read more

I'm loving that this spot is bringing Vegas style entertainment to SoCal. Dinner and a show! We need more of these here! Fridays and Saturdays they've got a show with belly dancers, aerialists, burlesque, and live singing! So much fun! The food was incredible, the steak and mashed potatoes were cooked perfectly and the prices are not bad at all! I was really impressed with the ambiance, vibe, and energy of this spot! All the servers were super sweet and attentive. The bar is stacked, and the DJ played really good music. Everyone was vibing! I especially love the signs in the women's restroom stalls looking out for the ladies and protecting us. It seems they really care about creating a safe space that is fun and unique! read more

I made reservations for 11 people and paid an extra $10 to make it 12 so we can get a table and not a booth. Waste of money. All they had were booths that only comfortably accommodate 10. We barely fit in the booth and when we asked for a table they refused to help us. The food was buffet style and not very good. The furniture didn't match and the service was very slow. We didn't get our drinks until about 30 minutes after we were checked in and seated. The music was ok but not as posted on their website or Tik Tok. All in all I was very embarrassed that I chose this place to celebrate my cousin's engagement. Never again. read more

Went for dinner tonight after seeing it here on Yelp. Arrived at about 515pm. It's in the JP BBQ building on the corner of Commonwealth and Harbor. It's more of a large sports bar vibe than for a place for a nice meal. Anyways, after being seated, our server came by and took drink orders. I asked about the entrées. She stated it was her 3rd day and had no personal knowledge or recommendations. (poor training by ownership) The brisket sounded good but was told they were sold out (at 530pm on a Saturday nite) again, not off to a good start. At this point, I asked her to have someone come to the table that could be of some help. I ended up going with a pork short rib, it was ok but a bit dry and tough for something you would think would be slow cooked tender. It was served with rice, beans and tortillas. Fair at best and expensive at 22.00. My girl had a baked chicken that was very good, fresh sautéed green beans and great mashed potatoes. The server seemed a bit distracted, never offered dessert, and had to seek her out to get our check. The manager Curtis was engaging and pleasant.
