So first off this location dropped their franchise of Meet Fresh and is now been rebranded to Coffee27. Most of everything is still reusing Meet Fresh bowls and paper bowls/cups as they transition over on a lazy way. Ordered their signature Ice Grassy jelly named similar to how Meet Fresh had it. The grass jelly is still very good, with large colored mochi balls on it. The bottom ice is still nice and sweet but a bit different in texture than the Meet Fresh dark ice. All right other add ins like jelly and boba is missing. Still a great dessert and would still come here for it. Fruit shave ice has been completely phased out :( and the owner wants this to be more of a coffee place. I don't understand this as there are so many empty new coffee shops around and places like Twinkle Tea, Molly Tea, Cha Express, and 7 leaves already full this void and have much of us loyal to them already that there really isn't a room for another coffee shop... Service with Diana handling both ordering and making the orders was awesome and see her getting overwhelmed with just apologizing and trying to explain to transition to so many disappointed customers that ended up walking out is very discouraging. I do hope this place improves and does something different to draw people in but at the moment they will have a uphill battle. Give them a chance though as it's still a good place to kick back.
I've never been to a more lackluster Meet Fresh or cafe or even franchise for that matter like ... barebones give us NOTHINGGGG Literally half the menu isn't even able to be ordered but they can't even take it off the kiosk and you have to reference all the notes + signs before you place your order because it being on the kiosk does not mean it is actually available !!! And you HAVE to order at the kiosk they won't take your order in person!!! The girl working there was actually so unfriendly like I am sorry that your management is doing a terrible job and you have to deal with everyone's questions ("hi sorry so does that mean XYZ is unavailable? Can ABC be substituted for DEF?") but these are valid questions given all the signs and everything going on! Also she THREW spoons onto the tray my friend was holding like ... that was so unnecessarily rude ?? The food was fine but ... service and management is NOT it !! Handle your inventory better and don't take out your frustrations on your guests!! No taro paste, no taro anything, no crystal boba, no mochi q, no mochi in general, no mango... just so much is unavailable and those ingredients are BUILT INTO the sets when you try to order! I'm the type that doesn't skip dessert. But I'm an old lady that needs to watch her blood sugar. So when I saw this beautiful Pudding & Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice, I opted for 50% sugar It was so good! The sweetness of the milk in the shaved ice wasn't too sweet, which is just want I wanted. The mochi definitely had the QQ factor. They had a bouncy chew. The larger Q mochi consisted of a brown sugar mochi, which is basically boba, and a regular one. They were sweet, so it paired well with the less-sweet shaved ice. The mini Q mochi didn't taste like anything, so they were there purely for texture. There were also almond and caramel puddings. The almond pudding was reminiscent of haupia. And the caramel pudding was basically a flan. Though, it did have coffee notes. The melon jelly was a little sweet, and also brought a different chewy texture to the dessert along with the crunchy coconut flakes. And on top was a scoop of vanilla ice cream with caramel. This dessert was truly a feast for the eyes and stomach. Despite this dessert looking large, it was actually the medium size. It definitely could feed a party of 4, so it was plenty for a party of 2. We couldn't finish it. We were there late in the evening, and there were signs everywhere about the unavailability of the bubble waffles. The employees even taped a sign on their backs! We were there a second night, and even more dishes weren't available. So it seems it's better to get there earlier in the day, unless they're having inventory issues. It's a very large space with ample seating. And they have large screens where you can check your order number. It can get pretty noisy, but that's part of the vibe. I hope one day to get their waffles.
Tried a new Meet Fresh location, and enjoyed our experience as always. This one is located in the front corner of the Hilton, which has underground parking (as well as some time-limited spots at ground level). I liked the decor of this location, and it is huge. The staff member I interacted with was very sweet, and helpful, and our dessert (the passion fruit icy) was fantastic. That being said, this also does have all the usual hallmarks of seemingly every Meet Fresh I visit: On the surface it looks clean, but all the tables are for some reason kind of sticky. Kiosks that make it overly difficult to find what it is you want to order (Which is why I had to find a staff member - the item I wanted wasn't listed in the section that it's supposed to be in). Menus scattered all over the counter, and this one had a lot of - while very cute and well drawn - signs saying they were out of a LOT of items. And clearly this was a long-term problem, not only because these signs had clearly had time put into drawing them, but also the menus had full sections blocked out with tape. It's just a lot of really simple things that could easily be fixed and make a Meet Fresh experience all that much better.
It was definitely my first time here and I had a good experience here. The desserts I ordered were very nice and nicely presented and tasted good as well. Maybe I will order something else to try, but if not, I might order the same thing. The Boba drink was nice and fresh, especially on a hot weather. The service was well and efficient and accurate. It actually came out fast. Now that's a service!
This is next to a hotel by Atlantic Times Square. This is a huge space with bright lighting, and lots of seating with couches and large tables. There's 2 large ordering screens at the front but you can also order with the staff at the front counter. I did this since it was taking a while with people taking their time to decide. The desserts and drinks came out pretty fast. I got a tofu pudding with taro balls and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too sweet at all! It didn't seem like there was much sugar added to the tofu pudding and taro. The only sugar came from the sweet soup. Very refreshing on a hot day!
I like the location as is it's close to the freeway, restaurants, AMC, and supermarket with the hotels on top. There's some 30 min parking but otherwise you will need to walk from the structure. I parked at the 30 min so not sure if the structure is free or paid parking. You need to order from the kiosk. The items on the kiosks does not have a price tag. As a paying customer, I would like to know how much it cost. You can find out by either checking out and looking at the cost or go out of line and look at the front TV waiting for it to change to your item if it's on there. I ordered the Mango sago and the egg waffle in matcha red bean, chocolate and original to go. You need to make sure the boxes are not stacked once you get to the car so the cut out holes in the boxes allows the moisture to escape so the egg waffle doesn't get soggy.Personally I like the chocolate the best. Not too many places have egg waffle so I'm happy a spot closer to me has opened. The Mango sago was overly sweet but still good. However at $12.50+ tax and potential tip, it's quite expensive. I'll rather go pay for a meal or just get a boba drink.
While I must confess a slight preference for traditional ordering methods, my difficulty with the kiosk is simply a matter of personal familiarity. Thankfully, a staff member kindly assisted me in ordering the Icy Passion Fruit Sorbet Bowl Signature, and I thoroughly enjoyed the delightful textural variety. My husband also appreciated the sorbet. I had initially hoped to order a mango shaved ice dessert, as pictured in the window display. I believe the mango-shaped items were mini q? I enjoyed all the toppings, while my husband enjoyed the Sorbet.
I enjoyed trying Meet Fresh for the first time! It's a great place to chat and relax so i would come back here for dessert with friends! I do strongly feel that $15 is too expensive, especially if the medium is only a dollar cheaper. The dessert itself wasn't that special as well. The toppings were good but I preferred more flavored ice.
First time.e trying out this location, vs the Temple City one. Love it! The staff is super friendly. The portions are huge! Tried two grass jelly specials and a shaved ice. Had plenty to bring home. Plenty of free parking in the attached garage (shared with Holiday Inn). Felt less crowded and not as chaotic as the Temple City location. Will be back!
Can never really go wrong with Meet Fresh (besides that its usually crowded) but I came to this one after watching at AMC nearby and it wasn't that crowded around dinner time. I ordered a ice sherbet bowl and it came out in about 2 minutes. Delicious dessert and everything was as I expected. Love that they opened until 11 pm on Friday so was able to hangout until it closed.

I've tried multiple Meet Fresh locations and this one is pretty nice. The place wasn't too busy at night. Ordered a large Thai Tea shaved ice which was seriously huge. Definitely large enough to be split with at least 4 people. I think this is one of the better shaved ices because when the ice melts down, it still tastes like a regular Thai tea vs a watered down dessert. It might be a little sweet to start for some. It doesn't have a dedicated parking lot, but does have a parking structure with some 30 minute spots. The inside is spacious with a good amount of tables. But it might be hard to hear if your order is ready if you sit at the opposite end of the room
My new favorite shaved ice place is now Tsuke Artisan Ramen in Old Town Pasadena (get their brown sugar shaved ice!!!) I came to this Meet Fresh MPk location today only out of convenience. It wasn't bad, just very pricey for what you get (tiny amount of each topping, so you see mostly white ice for $16.) Easy street and plaza parking. read more
I like going to Meet Fresh, it's always refreshing to order their drinks and also their Icy Grass Jelly combo. You can't go wrong. The Monterey Park location is probably the newest, as it's located underneath the Holiday Inn Hotel, facing the street. It's very spacious inside, and they're not always crowded nor packed. However, this location seems to limit their menu items. The few times I've been here, maybe it's because they're almost closing, they run out of ingredients to build their icys'. I hope that's the case because there are so many line items covered in their menu. Other locations tends to have more items available for you to choose from. Anyhow, it's okay, as long as they continue to make their desserts up to par. Parking is usually in abundance. As the hotel doesn't seem as busy. But the wait at this Meet Fresh can be awhile before you get your order. read more
Whatever happened with Meet Fresh!?!?! Meet Fresh was once a name that makes me smile, and the name was once synonymous with "great tasting dessert" in my mind. But Meet Fresh just has not been good for the past two years, no matter the location in NorCal or SoCal. Very disappointing. And once again, this location in Monterey Park, CA (SoCal) was just plain awful. They were out out out of this and that. Out of taro balls, out of mango, out of pears, out of yellow pudding, etc. How does one run a dessert shop without its many ingredients!?!?! On top of that, albeit this location is bright and roomy - there is absolutely no service. You walk in, order from the kiosk, and pick up your own order. Tables are also somewhat sticky. uck. Anyway, between the 4 of us and the limited selection- we ordered (1) Red Bean Soup, (2) Hot Milk Tea with grass jelly, and (3) Hot sweet soft tofu and the total was just about $30, or $10 each. And everything was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL TASTING. The red bean soup was lukewarm and tasteless. The tofu in the sweet soft tofu dessert was all broken and scattered. And finally, I don't know how/ what they used to make the milk tea... it just tasted off. Very upset. What a waste of time and money. Don't bother. read more

Yasss MEET FRESH SUPREMACYYY ! To begin with this location is so clean + spacious ! This Meet Fresh is by far the nicest one I've been to. As always, we order the signature grass jelly dessert (you can never go wrong w this one). We decided to try the taro icy and we didn't rly like that one as much as the signature grass jelly -- but she was still good. The service was pretty fast which was IMPRESSIVE because we came when it was pretty busy. Parking can be a bit hard to find // we parked in the parking garage but they only had 30 min and 1 hour spots. I will be back soon with my besties ^.^ read more

I come here every Saturday or Sunday. I love the Signature Series. Today, Sunday I got the Shaved Ice. I had to go to the bathroom and the staff was screaming my order. I was fine for most a moment. The worst is the staff woman with purple hair and nose ring. She is consistently unfriendly or will it respond when I say something. It's puzzling to me why she still works there when she is so rude to customers and not happy. I don't except us to be friends but just a response or something would be nice. She just seems upset all the time. Today she was screaming my order I said I'm so sorry I was in the bathroom. She turned and walked to the other room. Anyways I still come and hope not to encounter her. Also there are always people who come and play games and they take up multiple tables without buying anything. I see them here all the time. Today they are playing Rummy. I'm sitting right next to them. read more
Came for dessert after dinner the other night. It was SO cold in there! I was shivering as I was eating my dessert. Seating: Lots of tables and seats available when we came. However, most of the tables were dirty. I did not see any of the staff coming out to wipe the tables in the 30 minutes I was there. Our table was sticky and I had to wipe it myself. Service: Not much interaction since we ordered at the self-serve kiosk. They have screens around the place that shows when your order is ready. Food: We ordered the Icy Grass Jelly Signature. Even though it was good, I feel like it was pretty expensive for what it was. read more

Personally the gras jelly is great. And it's funny because I don't usually like that but they make it into a nice texture and fresh tasting. The only item I don't love is the mochi which is way too doughy. I like that they are fairly fast and you can sit and wait for your number to be called. Lots of tables but cleaning is a bit lacking. read more
Meetfresh is always a nice place for dessert. Their desserts are not too sweet and I love getting their plain hot grass jelly on a cold day. Their shaved ice are massive and a great dessert to share. The store it's quite big with a lot of seating so makes a good ambiance to talk with friends. However, I will knock 2 stars off for the service at this location. The kiosk are slow and janky. The worker are a bit rude and scream through the speakerphone with attitude. She might have just been having a bad day but slamming trays and bowls were off putting to customers. read more
Got the Thai tea shaved ice and it was okay but something I wouldn't get again. Although it was huge, I still think it was expensive for what it was. The ice was chunkier than I'd prefer and there wasn't enough Thai tea flavor halfway towards eating it. I liked that they had a spacious dining area. However, the TV where it shows the status of your order is on one side of the store. If you wait at the tables on the other side of the store you wouldn't know if your order is ready. read more

The Health family visit with a bunch of kids during the holiday. I was thinking of a good place to get yummy dessert and chill for the evening. Surprisingly this location has opened up a huge sitting area on the side next to 99 ranch, and it's just perfect for our evening to chat, enjoy warm desert on this cold weather. Totally forgot to snap some photo of the indoor seating area, because it's new and clean. I guess that is just classic meat fresh desserts, but I would never get tired of meet fresh! And my family, they are surprised on how yummy the desserts are, since they haven't been to California that long. PS. Parking structure is right at the back of the plaza. read more

Latest visits have been great. Jeffrey and Nicole are very personable. All the ladies in the back have been super friendly. Today we met Jeremiah and Gloria who were really sweet and going out of their way on everything. Really superb experience. The kiosk was kind of janky and the freebie offer on Tuesday made the entrance area back up awkwardly for a while due the weirdly designed entry chokepoint. But once we got our seats it was very relaxing. I finally got to try the egg waffles since we came during daytime. Had the matcha deluxe and it was oh so good. Loved the harder red bean topping and the red beans in the batter. The waffle itself had wonderful crisp edges and a great denser mochi like chew. The ice cream surprisingly stayed pretty solid despite the heat from the fresh waffle. The mochi logs were jelly like and easy to eat and I feel the condensed milk was a little overkill. It's sweet enough with the ice cream. All in all it was great and would love to have it again. read more
Brightly light space with large windows and a useful table layout, plus a handful of covered short-term parking right behind the restaurant, which is clutch in the summer heat. Drinks, desserts, and egg waffles are all pretty good although service is not particularly fast, at least not if you show up right when they open and the kitchen is still getting setup. Either way this particular Meet Fresh location does seem to have a slightly better vibe than most, especially with free wifi. read more

Haven't been to Meet Fresh in years but we stopped by to get dessert and after having a taste we've went back 2 more times the same week!! We ordered different things each time to try things out. Had the milk tea signature, 1/2 strawberry mango shaved ice, and grass jelly signature. Our favourite of the 3 was the milk tea signature however I think we'd enjoy the original signature (I.e all the toppings just no milk tea jelly) more. The milk tea was actually in a jelly, not actual milk tea (still tasted good but texture was a runny jelly while we were expecting a liquid). The interior is also pretty nice and open, so we saw a lot of people studying on their laptops! They also have a deal for a $5 waffle with any purchase. read more
My favorite dessert place to go to in MPK. Hooshik used to be my favorite shaved iced spot, until it closed down. Since then, MPK was missing a shaved ice spot and Meet Fresh couldn't have come at a better time, right before Summer begins. Location & Parking: The location is a in a bustling area next to Holiday Inn and a walkable distance to AMC and other great restaurants. Parking is shared with the Holiday Inn parking structure. There are two underground levels and ground level parking. Minor Critiques about Interior Design: The entrance to all Meet Fresh locations are somewhat poorly designed from my experience. This location is a lot more cramped than other locations. The kiosks are placed at the front entrance with not much space to line up. The line is usually out the door or blocking the narrow walkway to the pick up counter. I think it would be a great addition to have blackout blinds/curtains for the seating along the front entrance during sunset (similar to Gram Cafe & Pancakes). It would also be nice to include a screen or speaker to display and announce which order number is ready for pick up. I lost cell phone service and wasn't able to receive texts when my order was ready. Every time I visit a Meet Fresh, I'm left shivering because they love to blast the air conditioner. I can understand why, but reminder to myself, bring a jacket while I eat their delicious shaved ice. My go-to order would be the Fluffy Wintermelon Tea with 1/2 sugar and Pudding & Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice. This location makes the Wintermelon super sweet, so I went with 1/2 sugar the second time and it was perfect. Their almond pudding is my favorite. I wish they could serve those by itself. Service: This location seems understaffed (maybe due to the grand opening), but the staff were trying their best. I appreciate how they were genuinely apologetic for the long wait time. My kids were so disappointed. We waited 40 mins to order, 40 mins to get our order, and they only gave us 2 of the three scoops we paid for. Before their full opening, they should probably train their staff a little better, and reset their ordering kiosks once in a while. They were sooo slow. On the plus side, they have a lot of promos right now, like $1 grass jelly milk tea. I got it half sweet and it was so watered down. Hopefully they get their processes down after all their promos are over. read more

This is Taiwanese style shaved ice with all of the add-ons. Freshly made egg waffles, with green tea, pudding or chocolate ganache or Nutella paste inside makes for a good accompaniment to any of the shaved ice or ice cream parfaits. on this visit, the Internet went out and the service staff had to resort to their back up. Plan of ordering on individual disconnected tablets, which worked out OK because they were at least able to produce receipts for payment although it became cash only. Meanwhile, everything else in the restaurant works fine. Location for this one is on the far east corner on Atlantic Boulevard facing the Ralphs. you can choose to either order through the cashier who are all very knowledgeable about all of the various combinations, or if you wish to try your luck, try the huge touchscreen menu Ordering where the myriad of options will probably result in confusion of how many different things you can combine into a single dessert. Meet Fresh finally opened in Monterey Park! It is located at the corner between the AMC and Ralph's from across the street. The interior is beautifully decorated, very clean, and with plenty of interior seating. You can order at the counter or the two kiosk as you go in the entrance. They put down your phone number after placing the order at the counter, and you will receive the text when the order is ready. When you finish eating, you place your plates and dishes in the window right of the kiosk. *** It wasn't possible to access my phone internet while I was sitting inside. I got the Icy Grass Jelly Signature and Crystal Mochi & Mung Bean Cake Set. They were good and filling. Can't wait to try the other items next time! read more

Went here on a Friday and was pleasantly surprised it was not busy . The waffle with matcha was delicious. The interior is clean and kiosk for ordering was convenient. The dessert came in a reasonable time. We parked at Atlantic square and walked to restaurant . Will definitely go back l . It's pricey but you can share it . read more
Decided to check out the new MPK location, it's nice and bright location with lots of windows and seating. Only a few parking spots in the back, I imagine once the hotel opens there won't be any close parking. Came at 3pm on Wednesday and the $1 milk special was already sold out, would have been helpful if they put a sign up as several people were trying to add it in the kiosk, I left to ask them they told us it was sold out. So people going back and forth trying to figure things out. Ordered the shaved ice with pudding and mochi, but there was no pudding. Guess everyone is still in training so they don't know the menu items...TRIPLE CHECK your orders are correct before leaving. Thankfully I checked and got the pudding on the side. It wasn't even a crowded time so I can't imagine how the weekend will be now that it's getting hot. I won't be coming back anytime soon until they work out all the problems and definitely not ordering to go! read more
