Came back to this place to give it another try and to my dismay, it was still below average. The bun of the burger was dry. The patty inside had no flavor at all, not even the lettuce and tomato could help mitigate that. The customer service itself was not the best (as expected). There are much better places in Eado like Rodeo Goat (of course) and Moon Tower. Moon Tower would be more comparable only because of the pricing and the ambience is ALOT better esp if you are bringing a group. Great lunch from Champ Burger. As odd as this may sound, Champ Burger reminds me of burgers by the pool when I was a kid--maybe it's because you order from a window and they call your number when it's ready, who knows. The burger is hearty--pretty big, I couldn't finish it--and tasty as well. I also enjoyed the french fries and chocolate milkshake. Popular local burger stand located in east downtown. Reminded me of a stall at a state fair or amusement park. It was very busy during lunch, a lot of workers were coming by during their lunch break to grab a burger. Ordered the mushroom swiss burger at the counter. The burger was huge, plenty to keep you full for most of the day and it was only $8. They have some tables outside to eat as well. read more

The menu has more options if you're not in the mood for those three. One of my favorite places to call in and pick up. So fast and friendly at the window. Nice outdoor area to sit and eat. Parking is mostly street parking. I wish they'd stay open for a late night...maybe Friday. With all of the new bars opening on Harrisburg I think they'd attract some business. read more

Conveniently located on a Metro Bus Route, and within easy walk of several more, off Canal, Harrisburg, and York, as well as the commuter rail on Harrisburg. A varied, affordable, menu and a great outdoor dining area. If you are driving then parking is where you can find it on the surrounding streets. Since the on-site potty is closed due to covid (I assume), make sure you go, somewhere, before you arrive, if you plan on eating there. Fresh ground hamburger patties with just the right ratio of fat to meat for that run down your pinkies juice. And the onion rings are hand cut and made daily!
