Really cute family owned restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. We started with mimosas with fresh squeezed orange juice and had biscuits and gravy, French toast with fruit, Belgian waffle with Nutella and the jimmysapitos (similar to a beignet). Everything was very good including service,

It's been a couple years since we first visited this cafe, it is located at the corner of Skyline and Cashill. There is ample parking and they only serve Breakfast and Lunch. We don't get to this part of town often but when we do, this is a must stop. The service has always been exceptional, we were quickly welcomed and seated. The server almost immediately got our drink order and as we knew what we wanted took our food order. The ambiance is an open floor plan with several 2 & 4 person tables, they also had a larger group today of 10-12, along with a group of 6. It was nearly full when we arrived during lunch and they delivered. We decided on breakfast, her the Denver omelette and I had the Mexican Omelette, both were extremely good, fresh produce and full of flavor. I just wish they were closer has this would become a regular for us. I highly recommend you try them out.

This place is a gem! The cafe was spotless and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, with good sized portions. I love that they had a wide variety of both American and Latino breakfast options! I got the Mexican Omelette, it was cooked perfectly and was full of flavor. This is definitely a spot I'll be coming back to and recommending to friends!

Service: 5/5 - The staff at Skyline Cafe was exceptional, they were super attentive and friendly. Ambiance: 3.8/5 - The cafe has a typical feel with ample seating. Our table was at close proximity to the kitchen and bathroom and we kept getting a constant whiff of sewer. Not a very pleasant smell when you are eating Food: 3/5 - While the freshly squeezed orange juice was delightful, our main dishes left something to be desired. My chilaquiles lacked flavor in the sauce, though the eggs were cooked perfectly. My husband's chicken fried steak suffered from bland gravy and seasoning, making it a disappointing choice. Overall, Skyline Cafe offers great service and a comfortable atmosphere, but improvements in food quality could elevate the experience.

Came in for breakfast and received great service. They have a lot of options to choose from and lots of seating inside. Highly recommend the Jimmysapitos!! So fluffy and sweet! Anyways, our breakfast was good, nothing extraordinary. It was a good and simple breakfast.

Decided to try this restaurant for brunch on a whim since we wanted something different than our usual rotation. We absolutely loved it! The staff was so kind and portions were huge! We had no idea what to expect since we are never usually on this side of town. We hadn't gone into this location since it was Hiroba Sushi. The interior has been remodeled and is so homey. The decor is inviting and modern. The menu has several options to choose from. We chose to go with French toast, chilaquiles, and pancakes. The chilaquiles plate was delicious! The chilaquiles were crisp, yet smothered with a tangy and spicy sauce. The potatoes were salty and crisp. The French toast with fruit were also a hit with the group! Everyone wanted a bite! Definitely worth checking out! We will be back!

Brunch with friends :) Got the jalapeño burger. Burger was juicy!!! And fries were battered --- my favorite!!!! Our coffee cups and water glasses --- didn't experience any emptiness at all! Servers were paying attention. Food came quickly. Perfect brunch atmosphere! Place was open and spacious, didn't feel crowded at all. Plenty of windows so you could feel and see the Reno sunshine :) Parking was plentiful. Definitely 2 thumbs up!

chilaquiles (plate is massive!) spicy for my tastes but the sauce used was incredibly flavorful

Great recommendation of a well balanced coffee that is only slightly sweet. Daughters ordered the strawberry matcha latte with house made syrup and loved it. Nice location with an enjoyable outdoor patio where we were graced with a slight morning breeze. A complimentary tasting of Turkish delight was offered with each purchase of a beverage. Asked for recommendations and got the pistachio which was really good and the tart raspberry. I'd definitely order the pistachio again!! The pistachio complimented the coffee and the raspberry would be awesome with a non coffee drink.

I had the grinder sandwich and ate every single bite because it was so delicious. The crack and crumble of the bread was like a banh mi sandwich but filled with Italian ingredients. The only downside is their space is a bit tight for the amount of business they bring in and timing is essential to enjoy your experience here if you can grab a seat at the right time. We definitely added them back to our regular list of places to visit for our bakery needs on the mornings and weekend brunch.

It's a pretty large location with plenty to choose from. Customer service was great all around. They have large windows so you can see into the kitchen and watch pastries being made. Pastries range between $5-$7.50. So, they are pretty pricey. I got their Gruyere & Leek Grilled Cheese sandwich and it was a whopping $21!! Add prosciutto or bacon - + $3.25! For that price, I wondered if they milked their own cows and aged the cheese on property. The sandwich was served with a side of dressed arugula. The taste and execution of the sandwich was fine, easy to eat, etc. But the flavor wasn't anything that justified the price tag. I also got an orange marmalade iced latte - kind of whatevs. My MIL got the griddled banana bread which is a thick slice of banana bread, topped with sugar and honeycomb. Also, tasted pretty mediocre. As for Pastries to-go, I got the creme brulee kouign aman (5/5). I don't typically like kouign aman, but I loved the caramel-y flavor of the sugar and they stuff it with a generous amount of pastry cream. I loved it. I also got their Bostock which had peach. Also, very good, but nothing amazing. Tried their chocolate bouchon which were pre-packaged. While, extremely rich & chocolatey, they were dry. My MIL got their marzipan morning bun which I didn't get to try. After all was said and done, the total was over $85!! Yes, you will need to go here on pay day in order to afford this place. Lol. Tartine is my fave bakery in CA and while I do think they are also expensive, I was able to get more items totaling at $75. I'm glad this place is in Reno. It's far enough to not make me want to drive here regularly. But, I will definitely be back to try their other items. This is definitely more of a "TREAT YO SELF" destination. Love the ambiance, love that it's artisan, just don't know if the astronomical prices are justified.
