This is a breakfast hot spot for sure.... We were there on a Friday morning for breakfast and had about a 15 min wait. We were in town for baseball and staying across the street. " Lucky us !! Breakfast was amazing ! I was looking for a petite or senior menu but only saw a limited kids menu. Bummer as I don't ever eat a full meal. I went ahead and ordered the build your own omelette. It was delish and the salsa they brought me was one do the best !! Hash browns were scrumptious too! It's a super cute, homey place. The staff were super friendly, welcoming and provided timely service. It's def worth the wait !!
I keep going back and it keeps getting better. Staff are all excellent. Charming decor, spotlessly clean and great menu. I have eaten breakfast and lunch here, everything on the menu is the best. Highly recommend. Have yet to try their pancakes only because everything else is so appealing when so hungry. Always enjoy being there with the lovely vibe they have created in this welcoming restaurant.
We've visited a few times now and are always happy! The decor is super cute and feels very homey, all of the employees are very friendly and the service is always fast. The food is really good as well, this visit I had the heavenly hog and it was wonderful, the sausage links are very large and super flavorful, the bacon was absolutely delicious, and the potatoes were really tasty. My son was extremely happy with his chocolate chip pancakes and sausage, rating them 150 stars! overall this is a really solid breakfast spot that is well worth visiting.
Grandpa brought me here for breakfast this morning as grandma was having bible study at her house. The interior was small but nice with scattered decorations that mostly had a flower theming, clean wooden floors, and flower tale cloth with glass across the top. Lots of white as well with white wall paint and the table cloth being white with the flowers, white lights and lamps too. We were sat down nice and quick then we had our order taken within just a few minutes. It took quite a while for our food to arrive, but the place was packed this morning so I can't hold it against them. I ordered the Breakfast Croissant with Bacon and Hashbrowns. The Hashbrowns were very average. Very plain in taste and texture. The Croissant sandwich pretty good. The bacon was pretty hard and tough, but the croissant was good, the egg was well prepared, and the cheese was good. Overall, not bad. The decor is comfortable and the food is good enough. Not too much to complain about here. Definitely a fine enough place to sit down and enjoy some breakfast.
This was my first time here and I'm so glad I finally made the trip! I went to the Cup Cafe Too, by the Atlantis, not the one further South It has such a cute cozy atmosphere. I sat at the bar and had very prompt attentive service. I ordered the Tuscan Scramble with their home potatoes, and opted for a biscuit at the recommendation of my server (who I believe was also the owner or manager). Everything was flavorful and good sized portions. I left with half of it to enjoy later. They are only open for breakfast and lunch so be sure to put it on your list of brunch spots. They do have mimosas for those wanting an adult beverage to accompany your meal.
Located in the Reno town Mall strip mall. Such a cute place, it has a Cozy atmosphere. It was busy for a Tuesday morning but we were seated right away. They have a really good cup of coffee. I got the steak and eggs, it was good. But my favorite thing was their pumpkin pancakes! They were delicious! I will be ordering that again:) Husband tried the Mexican scramble, he cleaned his plate! I was able to sneak a bite in though, it had a fair amount of spice to it. Good flavors. We will be back for sure!
Stopped in for lunch. Service was polite and courteous. I tried the Bacon Avocado Burger. Angus beef, plenty of fresh toppings and cooked to perfection. The bacon alone was amazing! Served with fries that were hot and crispy. I may make this a regular lunch spot in Reno but will try a breakfast option next time!
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The Cup Café offers impeccable service and consistently delivers fresh, delicious food. My personal favorite is the Benedict: perfectly poached eggs and just the right seasoning every time. While I didn't get a cup of coffee this visit, in the past it's always been fresh, and the staff never lets my drink get too low before offering a refill. They now have two locations, and I visited their newest spot at Reno Town Mall. It has a charming mom and pop vibe, complete with teapots with your choice of tea, that perfectly fit the café's aesthetic. A delightful experience overall!
This location is closer to my house than the original. Everything was really tasty. I got the jalapeño burger, that wasn't spicy at all. Service was speedy and polite. However the single hot cake came with the check practically. A little delayed with that one... dessert pancake?! Haha still everything was delightful and I'm glad this spot is a bit closer that it used to be for me.
When I think about breakfast, I'd like to think about this place. The kid and I decided to have breakfast here yesterday. We haven't been to their new location at the Old Town Mall since they opened. We walked in and the place looked busy. We were seated quickly and given menus. The kid had the pancakes and sausage off the kids menu. I got the chicken fried steak with eggs and hash browns. It also came with a side of biscuits and gravy! My kid loved the pancakes. I thought they smelled good. They smelled like cake. He ate all of the sausage too. My chicken fried steak was seasoned good. There was a good amount of food. I couldn't finish it all but I tried. Even though the place was busy, our waitress Kelly, was on top of it. The service was great. They might need another waiter/ waitress to help her. Seemed like she was the only one working but she had it covered. I can see why they opened a second location. The Cup Cafe has great food and is a good place to eat.
We were shopping at Burlington, and saw The Cup and decided to pop in - the place is hidden away and I never knew it was there! The ambiance is homey, and very "family friendly". Every table and booth was filled and the place was hopping. There were only open til 2pm and it was 1:00 so we sat at the counter, and ordered breakfast. We were served quickly, the food was excellent. $25 for breakfast is steep. I had breakfast and tea and with tip $25. I'll need to stop in for lunch one day soon, I had the garden benedict and it was delicious. Very large portion and I'd definitely have that again. The scramble was small in portion and just okay. The menu looked so expansive I do want to try other things. Love the place!

Its hustle and bustle of the breakfast crowd is crazy. Yet it's not too loud to hold a conversation. Always my go to spot if I'm on that side of towm
I love coming to this location for breakfast! The staff is always so sweet and nice and the restaurant is always super clean. The food is always delicious. I always get the egg white scramble and make sure to get a pancake. FYI the pancake is still delicious even if you save it and heat it up the next day.

The Cup Cafe is one of my favorite breakfast spots in Reno for a classic diner-style breakfast experience. I have been to the other location multiple times but this was my first visit to the Old Town Mall location. My party of four arrived on Father's Day around 9am which is a tricky time on a holiday! They were very busy but we were seated in about 5-10 minutes. They were going a very good job of getting new parties seated. On this day I planned to cure my craving of breakfast-house-pancakes and they did not disappoint! I ordered the breakfast plate with two eggs, pancakes and the house-made sausage patty. The pancakes were exactly what I wanted - fluffy and soft with butter and warm maple syrup. The waitress recommended the house-made sausage and it was delish. A little kick to it and very well seasoned. Overall, it was a really lovely breakfast with great service from Lindsay! The prices here can be a little steep. With 4 people, one of whom only ordered toast and coffee, the bill came out to $80 with tip. Not too bad, but on the higher end in my opinion. That said, The Cup Cafe is one of my favorites and I'll definitely be back! read more
Hygge (Danish): A popular term for a quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment. Cute- convenient -cozy cup cafe. It's right across the street from Atlantis in Reno, Nevada. When our car was serviced at Dolan motors we asked for a breakfast place and found this little gem, their other location. This one: We take the bridge across the street when we stay at Atlantis, (their spa by-the-way is a full service spa, salon, pool, & fitness center). But this location is hidden, it just down the block from Burlington. Worth it to explore --great breakfast options. read more

Popped in for a late breakfast on a weekend day. We sat at the bar and ordered our meals from very pleasant and accommodating staff. I asked for my bacon limp. Well the Limp bacon was fairly crispy. Pancakes must've sat a few minutes as they were a bit on the colder side than hot but still had good taste. Eggs over medium cooked perfectly. This is the biggest thing I appreciate. Poorly cooked eggs ruin the meal. Good mimosa. Staff very attentive, friendly and professional. read more

We happen to drive by the newest location and decided to have breakfast. The decor is so adorable!!! We were greeted right away, but it was peak time, so we had to wait about 30 minutes. Not too bad... I had a Mimosa and the Bacon Avocado Benedict, served with Breakfast Potatoes. The Bacon Avocado Benedict was cooked to perfection and really tasty, but unfortunately the potatoes were a bit salty for my taste. Our server was great though! She was friendly and provided excellent service. read more
Let me start by saying I've been here twice in the last three days once for lunch and once for breakfast and both were exceptional. On Wednesday, I drop by for lunch with a friend and had their club sandwich with their homemade potato salad. The sandwich was stuffed to the rims with turkey and bacon and ham and lettuce and tomatoes, and was absolutely wonderful as was their homemade potato salad. Saturday I stopped in with a friend for breakfast and had their sausage patty two eggs over easy and they're cottage fries again, everything was great. The sausage was done crispy around the edges. The eggs were cooked at Perfection and the cottage potatoes mixed with bell peppers and onion were yummy. Servers are friendly unhelpful not intrusive, but they seem to know just when you need them. The restaurant itself is quite quaint and cute inside with Lacey curtains and decor that remind you of a cottage or your favorite bed-and-breakfast. Five stars for breakfast and lunch and this will be on our new list of favorite places to eat read more
First off the place is super cute and has a home vibe, like you are having a meal at home. Very cute decor. The service is great and very friendly. I got the eggs breakfast with over medium eggs, country potatoes, and I got the biscuit. All was very good and cooked just right. Reasonably priced too. The Cup Cafe 2 is open and ready to serve you at the new location! Seriously what a great new location. You can hit the Cup 2 for breakfast, roll to R Town pizza for lunch, and then finish off dinner with Dreams Tacos all in the same parking lot!!! My breakfast crew has hit the Cup 2 location multiple times. Beautiful nice cozy dinner. Just across the street from the Atlantis Casino in the old Round Table pizza at Reno Town Mall. Had a lovely late breakfast today at the Old Town Mall Location. Return visit, the service was extra nice today. Friend recommended Huevos Rancheros. Very good with crispy corn tortillas, eggs, beans and a nice Spanish sauce. Also served with sour cream and salsa. My guest had Bacon and eggs, which were very good. Bacon is decent and crispy. Side of mixed fruit available in place of potato's. Slight up charge. The menu is very good, nice selections. Soup of the day is also available. Decorated with a nice country flair and parking is very good. This is a definite must! read more

This is a second location for the family owned local restaurant. The place is colorful, bright and cheerful. The servers and other employees are friendly, professional and proficient. The food is perfectly made to order with fresh ingredients and large portions. The Eggs Benedict with apple smoked bacon, avocado and hollandaise sauce was terrific! It came with potatoes, either hash browns or country. The country potatoes were flavorful, had bell peppers and onion, perfectly done. read more

Came here on a Friday at 9AM and it wasn't busy at all. We were seated pretty quickly. Food was good and the restaurant had country house vibes. Only negative I would say is our food was sitting on the counter for a while waiting to be served to us. When we finally did get it the french toast was kind of cold. Also the waitress never refilled our water. read more

This has a central location by the Atlantis. The breakfast was sooo good. I got it with hot tea. It was just good, homestyle food. The wait staff was amazing. Everyone's coffee was kept full. It was also easy to hear everyone talk, but they were pretty busy. read more
