Pho Viet 2 is always a solid choice for Vietnamese food and worth the drive. When I don't get the Combination Pho, I like the vermicelli rice noodles with grilled pork (with or without shrimp, skip the egg roll), or the rice plates like the pork chop. The shrimp spring rolls are OK, as is the fresh young coconut juice. Haven't tried much of their Chinese food menu other than wonton egg noodle soup once. Next time I might go for the Korean short ribs with rice and one of those pandan coconut milk drinks. Consistently good service, never too busy (zero wait time) for dinner, portions and quality also great for the price.

My partner and I get a craving for Pho on cold days and rainy nights. Our favorite location is a little far away so we wanted to find something that's just a little closer. I remember coming to this one about a year ago, so we decided to give it another go. When we showed up, it was pretty packed, but they still have plenty of seating to get us in. We ordered the pork eggrolls for our appetizer. For my entrée, I went with a large steak pho noodle bowl. The food came out fast and both dishes were really good. I like to dress my broth up with lime juice, Sriracha, and hoisin sauce. My large bowl was pretty big and left me full. Believe it or not they have an extra large bowl too! We will for sure be back again. The interior has plenty of seating, a chandelier, and two tvs.

We checked out Pho Viet 2 for dinner last night for the first time. They are located on West El Camino Ave in Northgate. The inside was huge with plenty of seating inside - it was clean and spacious as well. We did a to-go order of Rare Flank, Beef Balls and Fried Tofu Pho, Grilled Chicken Over Vermicelli Noodles, House Chow Fun and Potstickers. Everything was really good, especially the Pho! It really hit the spot and the broth was savory and flavorful. I got a small size and it was still massive and they loaded me up with tons of toppings! Staff were very friendly and I didn't have to wait too long for the food. I will definitely be coming back soon to dine in and check out other items on their menu! Check them out!

Friendly ladies and we enjoyed our meal. Tastes like your standard Vietnamese pho and bun bo hue. Would come back!

If you live in Natomas and you're craving pho or amazing Vietnamese food but don't feel like making the trek all the way to Stockton Boulevard, stop what you're doing and go here. This spot is an absolute hidden gem and honestly one of the best Vietnamese places in the area, hands down. I know I only have 2 photos but we are here a lot and tried their red bean and green jelly too. The restaurant itself isn't huge, but the flavor? Massive. The veggies are always fresh, the portions are generous, and the broth... the broth is soul-warming magic. Like a cozy hug in a bowl. I'm dramatic because it's deserved. And can we talk about the service? The ladies here are incredible. So sweet, so fast, and always on point. They treat you like a regular even if it's your first time. We've been coming back every month or more since the beginning of the year and every visit is just as good as the last. Bonus points for the fact that you'll probably have leftovers, but don't let that fool you--the flavor is always bold and never watered down. Everything is made with care and it shows.

I was nervous about coming here because of some of the reviews, but everything was great. We came in as they opened. There was plenty of sitting. The service was great. They came to the table often to refill our drinks and to make sure we didn't need anything. I personally had the well-done flank steak pho and egg rolls. Everything tasted great. Nothing seemed dirty to me, expect the shopping center this restaurant is located in.

I been here so many times the pho soup is amazing I always order the xl bowl combo with egg noodles the broth is amazing what sucks they don't have smoothies like tk noodles simple and good. The service is quick and the staff is okay not rude but always busy I do recommend this place if you want to eat heavy on a big giant bow of pho

The shelving behind the kiosk has plants, bottles of Veuv and wine nicely placed. There's some nice Vietnam themed artwork throughout. A vibrant, colorful mural is painted on the wall near the entrance and more wall art towards the back. I was impressed to see they even serve Veuve here. That makes for a fun brunch! Our party of five were road tripping home from the weekend and passing through. We always stop at Quan Nem Ninh Hoa for lunch and get the House Special 2 DIY spring rolls with the grilled pork complete with veggies, their special sauce and those crispy sticks. I was also hungry for some Bun Cha Ca (fish soup) which has mackerel, fish cake, tomatoes, pineapple and cabbage. I enjoyed mine with egg noodles. So delicious- even on a hot day! I'm glad to see they're thriving in their new fancy space also.

Pair it with a rich, flavorful bowl of Mi Quang, and you're in food heaven. Try their bun cha ca, vermicelli noodles w fish cake super light and excellent broth! I also like their banh xeo here, very crispy and the right amount of veggies. PRO-TIP YOU NEED TO TRY: Don't sleep on their appetizer menu! Stop by TK Noodles down the street first, grab some chicharrones to-go, and sprinkle them right on top of the Banh Beo here. Total game changer! Try something else besides pho, I love pho but Vietnamese cuisine has many distinct soup dishes when you factor in regional variations, unique broths, and different noodle types. If you look past phở, Vietnamese soups generally fall into a few massive, distinct categories based on how the broth is built and what kind of noodle is used.

We felt transported back to Vietnam when we sipped the sugarcane and calamansi juice. If they have it (listed seasonal on the menu), try it! We also got nem cuon (not pictured) and the portion was generous and warm. I love their dipping sauce too. The broken rice plates also remind me of the places my mom took me to in Westminster and Garden Grove growing up. The accompaniments(hanh mo), whole Thai chilies, and chicken broth are signs of the authenticity. Meats are marinated and grilled nicely too. Everything is so so good. Support this place and family. We ordered the combo pho, and the broth was surprisingly bland & lacking the depth and richness you'd expect. The meat was tough, there was barely any tripe, and no tendon at all, which was disappointing for a "combo." I also requested less noodles, but that adjustment was mistakenly given to my husband's bowl instead. Not a huge issue on its own, but it added to the overall experience. That said, the menu offers a wide variety of broken rice dishes, so it seems like that might be more of their specialty. If I were to return, I'd probably try one of those instead of the pho.

It was a bummer when they told us they didn't make ox tail or bum rieu today. Instead we ordered beef tartare, beef pho and shaken beef with rice. The beef tartare was this sliced raw beef with onion, herbs and lime which made the dish rich and savory. The pho was mediocre and same goes for the shaken beef, but both dishes were still tasty enough. During our time there, the server did not check on us or refill our water.
