Friendly ladies and we enjoyed our meal. Tastes like your standard Vietnamese pho and bun bo hue. Would come back!

My partner and I get a craving for Pho on cold days and rainy nights. Our favorite location is a little far away so we wanted to find something that's just a little closer. I remember coming to this one about a year ago, so we decided to give it another go. When we showed up, it was pretty packed, but they still have plenty of seating to get us in. We ordered the pork eggrolls for our appetizer. For my entrée, I went with a large steak pho noodle bowl. The food came out fast and both dishes were really good. I like to dress my broth up with lime juice, Sriracha, and hoisin sauce. My large bowl was pretty big and left me full. Believe it or not they have an extra large bowl too! We will for sure be back again. The interior has plenty of seating, a chandelier, and two tvs.

We checked out Pho Viet 2 for dinner last night for the first time. They are located on West El Camino Ave in Northgate. The inside was huge with plenty of seating inside - it was clean and spacious as well. We did a to-go order of Rare Flank, Beef Balls and Fried Tofu Pho, Grilled Chicken Over Vermicelli Noodles, House Chow Fun and Potstickers. Everything was really good, especially the Pho! It really hit the spot and the broth was savory and flavorful. I got a small size and it was still massive and they loaded me up with tons of toppings! Staff were very friendly and I didn't have to wait too long for the food. I will definitely be coming back soon to dine in and check out other items on their menu! Check them out!

I was nervous about coming here because of some of the reviews, but everything was great. We came in as they opened. There was plenty of sitting. The service was great. They came to the table often to refill our drinks and to make sure we didn't need anything. I personally had the well-done flank steak pho and egg rolls. Everything tasted great. Nothing seemed dirty to me, expect the shopping center this restaurant is located in.

Featuring wide selection of Vietnamese & Chinese popular classic dishes. Generally rather generous portions! Food: Banh mi dac biet - 5/5 - excellent regards to taste, texture, authenticity and generous size Goi sua tom thit - 4.5/5 - very fresh and tasty Shrimp spring roll - 4/5 - pretty good not exceptional Wonton soup - 3/5 - sad that they're not partially shrimp-filled; cared less for the added other meats Pho - 4/5 - pretty good regards to broth and generous meat cuts Bun bo hue - 4.5/5 - aromatic broth is pretty good; the meat cuts could have been better Bun tom thit nuong cha gio, tom quet - 5/5 - delicious balance of grilled meats with noodles and veggies Com bi, cha, thit nuong, tom nuong, tom quet, cha gio - 5/5 - nice variety of grilled meats/proteins; very generous and filling! Sinh to Bo - 4/5 - sometimes taste like fresh avocado other times flavoring (?) Ambience: Basic strait forward eatery, moderate space Service: Fast, friendly no complaints

If you live in Natomas and you're craving pho or amazing Vietnamese food but don't feel like making the trek all the way to Stockton Boulevard, stop what you're doing and go here. This spot is an absolute hidden gem and honestly one of the best Vietnamese places in the area, hands down. I know I only have 2 photos but we are here a lot and tried their red bean and green jelly too. The restaurant itself isn't huge, but the flavor? Massive. The veggies are always fresh, the portions are generous, and the broth... the broth is soul-warming magic. Like a cozy hug in a bowl. I'm dramatic because it's deserved. And can we talk about the service? The ladies here are incredible. So sweet, so fast, and always on point. They treat you like a regular even if it's your first time. We've been coming back every month or more since the beginning of the year and every visit is just as good as the last. Bonus points for the fact that you'll probably have leftovers, but don't let that fool you--the flavor is always bold and never watered down. Everything is made with care and it shows.

This bowl is huge and really good

I been here so many times the pho soup is amazing I always order the xl bowl combo with egg noodles the broth is amazing what sucks they don't have smoothies like tk noodles simple and good. The service is quick and the staff is okay not rude but always busy I do recommend this place if you want to eat heavy on a big giant bow of pho

We haven't been to this place for a long time since our last visit the food did not taste any good but we decided to give it a try again since we were craving for some Vietnamese food and pho. Usually no wait time, you get seated right away. We ordered: *Pho Dac Biet this time around the meat and veggies was fresh! The broth was flavorful you can tastes the rich base of the beef bones. * Charboiled Meat Over Rice meat was tender and flavorful I love the dipping sauce goes well with the meat and the egg rolls. Serving was pretty big their soup and plate menu offers excellent value for their prices. *Eggs rolls appetizer was really crispy and tasty, good size and it came with fresh lettuce and pickled veggies. Overall I was happy we gave them a try again we'll definitely be back again and hopefully will get the same quality.

Pho Viet 2 is next to the Princesa Boutique and the Massage place, a few doors down from Saigon Corner on the Shell gas station corner of Truxel and El Camino. Their other location is in Citrus Heights (Pho Viet). The cold weather compelled me to seek out Pho Viet 2's Extra Large (XL)-sized bowl of pho, which I've never personally attempted before. This time, I felt so ready for the challenge--paper to-go menus provided to order from. I got the R1 Pho Dac Biet (Combination Pho with rare steak, well-done flank, fat brisket, tendon, tripe, and beef meatball) in that XL size with the default rice noodles and beef broth. FYI, a Small is around $13, Large $15, and X-Large $18. The lady taking my order didn't question me or warn me when I asked for the X-Large, but the other lady who brought it to the table assumed it was for the other diner in my party, LOL. The XL bowl is as tall as the pot of hot tea I also ordered! The usual fixings: fresh basil, beansprouts, jalapeno slices, raw onion, green onion, lime wedges, and if you want any sauces like fish sauce, hoisin, or sriracha. Plastic chopsticks and a soup spoon are provided, ask if you need a fork. I came in on a mostly empty stomach and that X-Large bowl was super satisfying and filling. Delicious! They also have appetizers like spring rolls, fried eggrolls, chicken wings, etc. If you're not into Vietnamese soup they also carry Chinese soup like wonton, hot and sour, egg flower, and chicken broth with either rice or egg noodles. There are three banh mi sandwiches to choose from, bun (rice vermicelli) grilled meat plates, com rice plates, self-wrap rolls, clay pot, fried rice, chow fun, chow mein, chicken, duck, seafood, veggie, kid's (nuggets, tenders, wings with fries and either chow mein or fried rice), and drinks like smoothies, coconut, pandan, coffee, tea, and soda. Such an extensive menu, everything I've tried here so far has been tasty! I don't come here often enough. They are open until 9pm!

I really like this place for its fair prices and location in the Natomas area. The pho is pretty good and doesn't ever taste like they just slapped something together. Service is quick and very kind. It's located right next to another Vietnamese spot I love that has good banh mi at a reasonable price.

Special spring roll combo - sooo healthy. Make your own spring rolls. It comes with nem nuong (sausage pork), vermicelli noodles, crispy rice paper, lots of veg). Dipped in their sauce, it was definitely my fav. It's interesting that their sauce consistency is thick. Banh xeo - I wish it came a little crispier. Inside has spacious table seating, some with booth and good lighting inside. There was ballad vietnamese music video playing. The restaurant was not busy and there were elderly men at the tables playing cards and some at another table they were chatting & drinking. Im not sure if they hold karaoke or have live bands but there is a stage with music instruments and a projector with installed party lights. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted right away. It was a bummer when they told us they didn't make ox tail or bum rieu today. Instead we ordered beef tartare, beef pho and shaken beef with rice. The beef tartare was this sliced raw beef with onion, herbs and lime which made the dish rich and savory. The pho was mediocre and same goes for the shaken beef, but both dishes were still tasty enough. During our time there, the server did not check on us or refill our water.
