I've passed by Chani's Donuts a few times and have always been curious, so it was a no-brainer to stop by after getting a sandwich next door. The inside of the shop is very colorful, but also a tiny bit confusing. Luckily, the friendly cashier/attendant explained everything to me and I was good to go after a few minutes. I went with six donuts with a vanilla topping. These aren't your standard donuts. They're about a third the size of a regular donut, so six of them doesn't turn me into Homer Simpson. The donuts were super crispy on the outside and cake-like on the inside. The vanilla topping wasn't too sweet. This is 100% for the service. My daughter attends the preschool in this shopping center. She normally doesn't run into this shop, but today we happened to park by this place so she wanted to go in. Theres a sign that says come in for a free donut. The girl at the front was obviously annoyed that my 3 and 2 year old just wanted a free donut. Keep in mind just last month I spent $60 dollars on these same exact donuts. Please remove that sign if you expect a person to buy donuts each time they want to sample. In addition to being vegan, these mini treats are also gluten-free and made without common allergens BUT you would never know by tasting them! These donuts were delicious! The person at the counter gave us a variety since we couldn't decide on a flavor, and all of them are amazing. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I love that they're small so you can try all the flavors without getting over full. I also couldn't tell that the donuts were vegan or allergen free, they taste comparable to regular donuts! However, I would recommend that the company post their flavors somewhere. I tried to check online before going in and the link seems to be broken. The two servers were well aware of all the ins/outs of the product and for the most part patient with us as this was our first time there. I was driving by and noticed the sign to try a free donut, the draw is that the donuts are little donuts that remind me of going to the fair or to a circus. The employees behind the counter were friendly, welcoming, and were willing and happy to answer any question I had. This place is amazing! We ordered some of these for our office and they were gone so fast. Everyone loved these tiny donuts. We got the powdered sugar, strawberry, and apple pie. Since the donuts were tiny they were all super crispy and tasted (to me) better than the usual donut with a larger soft middle.
