The food was okay, the meat and shrimp were seasoned well but the tortillas were served cold & the salsa was underwhelming. It's self order at a kiosk & the menu is pretty basic. It's located beside the Whaley House Museum so the view is nice. I was hungry after a tour but I could not finish the flauta. I'll have to get food from another establishment.

My son and I took a break from painting and it was late and we were so hungry. He found a farm to table Mexican restaurant in Old Town so we set off on our mission. Flor's had a great looking menu. We ordered from the kiosk while discussing what was good with one of the owners. I decided on the Kracken taco which was an octopus taco and a crackling red snapper taco. My son decided on the crackling salmon burrito. Our food came out and as you can see the tacos were huge. Took one bite of the kracken taco and immediately wanted more. Both of my tacos were delicious and the kracken was beyond amazing. Next time I go i need 2 of those!!! This restaurant is a MUST try in Old Town. It was fresh and delicious. We were reenergized from lunch and sitting at their bar. It was beautiful with the big tree and had a nice breeze. We felt much better, went back and finished our painting. Thank you for a wonderful lunch! Mission complete.

First stop in SD to finally get some good Mexican food, coming from a town where we have very little. I love the farm to table concept, especially how they prep the veggies diced so small. Got the snapper(2.5/5) and Asada tacos (4/5), overall they were surprisingly lacking in flavor with the toppings, the asada meat itself was very tasty though. Order at a kiosk, shared seating area so service was nearly non existent, but they're open about that being the set up. A 3/5 to me is just neutral, I neither loved it nor hated it. Old town is so fun, worth stopping if you're visiting nearby.

Needed a spot before my bus arrived. We found this spot and decided to check it out. Here was our experience. AMBIANCE Parking: Old Town parking, there's free street parking, paid parking, and if you can there's a trolley stop. Seating: Outside seating both table seating and shaded bar seating. Room for maybe about 30 people or so. Vibes: Welcome to Old Town - the "birthplace of California." You'll feel the mix of early Mexican and Spanish history all around--shops, restaurants, and occasional live performances if you catch them. This spot itself is a bit tucked away (pass the haunted house and you'll find it), but once you're there, it's a great place to relax and enjoy your meal. FOOD / DRINKS Salmon Crackling Burrito (Recommend) Delicious. Crispy fried salmon paired with cabbage, salsa, chipotle sauce, crema, and pico--every bite hits that balance of crispy, creamy, fresh, and slightly spicy. Not your typical burrito--in a good way. SERVICE Awesome! Friendly people and quick with the service TL;DR OVERALL 4 Stars. Wonderful! Good food, lovely selections, and a pleasant experience. If you're looking for something different from your usual taco/burrito rotation, this is it. The flavors stand out, and the salmon option alone makes it worth the visit. TIPS: * Don't sleep on the seafood options--this spot clearly knows what they're doing with fish.

Let me first say that the folks there were very nice. You can order at touch screens up on the porch and then take a seat in the side garden dining area. Two of us ordered the taco Tuesday special which was a drink, three little street tacos and a side of tortilla chips. The tacos were shrimp, red snapper and a beef of some sort. They were okay, nothing to write home about. One of our group got a burrito, he eats lots of burritos but only ate a couple bites of this one. Unfortunately he did not like it at all. He asked me to try it and to be honest, neither did I. It was very dry and very bland. We ended up throwing 2/3 of it away. The last person had a simple order, a cheese quesadilla.

The Good: they had a vegetarian section on the menu! Also the prices were reasonable for San Diego; we got two potato tacos and a plate of vegetarian nachos for $25. Beer was $8.50 a bottle. The taco's tasted good but not special. The Not So Good: there is no service. You order on a computer and then pick up your own food. The Bad: the nachos had almost no vegetables although the description made it sound like it would. Flor's bills itself as farm to table but we didn't see much farm. There were potatoes but no onions, tomatoes, olives, jalapeños, beans, and very little cabbage. The salads had no vegetarian/vegan salads! There were only two salads and both included meat. The Really Bad: they don't recycle the beer bottles. That's just irresponsible. So overall the price was good and they do have a few vegetarian options, but it was very limited and it doesn't really live up to my expectation of what I expect from farm to table, which would be lots of organic vegetables and salads and environmental awareness.

Great place for lunch! Me and my wife stopped by to get a quick bite and here was our experience FOOD: 3 words. De Lish Ous! I tried a nacho burrito that I can still taste in my mouth a week later! I loved that burrito it was literally bursting with flavor. My wife got the tacos and we both got a drink that was crisp and refreshing. If I could say any corrective thought at all, the burrito and taco was wet so make sure you have napkins and it left me craving the taste of a margarita. Also I wouldn't come here for like a sit down dinner but definitely after walking around old town and want some food before you go home I PROMISE you won't be disappointed and after you eat it will be time for laying on the couch at home! ATMOSPHERE: We sat where we could see the trees and bushes and the old town tour. It was nice outdoor seating. If you like indoor than this isn't for you, me and my wife enjoy nature and I have a photo of our seating. I would say the only thing that I didn't care for was the music coming from the "haunted house" next door COST: Not bad cost the food was very fresh and tasted handmade and homemade absolutely worth the cost which was under 50 dollars if you don't want to pay that, go to Taco Bell. This place was delicious Summary: All in all great place great atmosphere and the owners are very knowledgeable and sweet the service was great! We will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu

My hubby and I were looking forward to trying this place because of the great reviews and their social media presence. We came here and got take out. I ordered their nachos that were $18. My hubby got their steak quesadilla and the nacho burrito. He assumed the nacho burrito meant nacho cheese and meat only to find out it meant tortillas chips crunched up into your burrito. Who adds tortilla chips to a burrito??? Also they didn't give us any salsas for our to go order, there were no salsa bars either. My nachos were made of store bought tortilla chips and it was the bottom of the bag with broken chips. Being farm to table, they should definitely use homemade chips.

A peaceful patio just steps from the Old Town buzz -- feels like you discovered something you weren't supposed to find.

I'm an Uber driver and spend a lot of time in Old Town, so I'm always looking for spots I can confidently recommend to riders. Flor's Farm to Table is absolutely going on that list. It's tucked slightly off the main street, which makes it quieter and more relaxed than some of the busier tourist-heavy spots. The patio setup is peaceful, great light, and just a really enjoyable place to slow down for a minute. I ordered the burrito and it was incredibly well crafted. The texture was spot on -- tender, well-seasoned meat with crisp, fresh lettuce and just the right balance of sauce. Nothing soggy, nothing overpowering. Everything tasted fresh and intentional. You can tell care went into building it. They also gave me a sample of their house-made hot sauce -- very hot, but when used in the right proportion, it adds amazing depth without overwhelming the flavors. If you're in Old Town and want something that feels less touristy and more thoughtfully prepared, this is it. I'll definitely be sending people here and stopping back to try more of the menu!

We stopped by Flor's because I really wanted to check out the market in which they are located. They didn't open right at 11 so we waited a little bit and checked out the coffee shop right next door. Anyways, we ordered via the screen and the food came fast. We tried both the surf & turf burrito as well as the hot Cheeto burrito. I personally loved the surf & turf, my friend preferred the hot Cheeto but honestly they were both amazing. I will also mention that the portions are HUGE. Half of one burrito was more than enough to constitute a full meal on my part.

Late review! Stopped by Flor's on a recent trip to San Diego and LOVED IT! The staff member at the counter was so helpful. The space is super cute and had plenty of seating for people to sit and wait for their meals. The tacos were outstanding and so were the loaded nachos. I got a michelada and it was so good! I highly recommend anything and everything from this spot!

What are the happy hour specials? I saw the post but didn't see what it entails on the post or the website.

Can you accommodate a party of 10 in one table?

Not likely on one table, maybe if you push two tables together and eat inside. It's not a big location so you would have to be the first ones there to ensure that you could accomplish such a feat.

There were a couple of groups dining in and someone picking up a to-go order, but there was still plenty of seating available. The employee working the counter was friendly. They also serve alcohol, and during my visit drinks were 20% off. Options included Pacifico, Modelo, Blue Moon, hard seltzers, and a selection of canned craft beers. I ordered: * Mahi Mahi Taco: the fish tasted fresh, and I liked the crispy onions on top. There was quite a bit of sauce, which made it pretty messy to eat. While the fish was good, it felt like a very heavy taco overall. * Surf & Turf Taco: this was loaded with steak and topped with two flavorful shrimp. The shrimp had an amazing flavor, and this taco was much more enjoyable and balanced. Overall, the service was great, the prices were very reasonable, and the protein quality was excellent. My only critique is that the tacos felt a little overdone with toppings and sauces when the quality of the protein could easily stand on its own. Still, it's a solid spot for an affordable late-night bite. One thing to note: there are no restrooms available inside the restaurant.
