Worst want to be imitation Mexican food I have ever tasted. Flauta was soggy and chicken inside was burnt- tostada/ chalupa was soggy as was the chile relleno. Everything smothered in white cheese sauce . Salsa was watered down . Music blaring to hard rock BUT the decor was great !They totally missed their mark on the food. I am shocked and embarrassed to call it Mexican food . Frozen patio dinners from supermarket anyone? Absolutely terrible place to eat, and work, and to just be at nor be around. Worked there for a bit and it was just pure drama and unreasonable stress. Never even got payed for the hours i worked there. And oh my god the food is absolutely terrible. I myself have gotten food poisoning from this place twice and also everytime i eat there or food from there i get a horrible stomach pain and god awful nausea. Absolutely one of the worst restaurants we've ever been too. Stopped while traveling a month ago. Fist of all, the salsa tasted like watered down chili. It was awful. But I thought, well maybe they just have bad salsa. But then, we ordered and when we FINALLY got our food, my husband had gotten a burger and fries and I ordered the chicken fajitas. It's a Mexican place! My meal was ice cold. Like they didn't finish warming it in the microwave cold. And everything was raw. The onions, peppers and the chicken breast was whole but had been sliced a couple of times. I've cold. So our Waitress could tell I was not happy and she took my meal back into the kitchen to be rewarded or cooked or whatever it is they were gonna do. Time went on and on, my husband got done with his. Which he said his burger was pretty good but the fries were raw inside. Anyway, she came back and asked if I still wanted my meal! I told her no! I wasn't even hungry anymore. She offered to pay for it herself but I told her no, we would pay for it. The little "manager" or whatever she was, was zero help. She offered only credit. As if we would eat here again! Anyway, in the end, we ended up paying for my husbands meal only. The waitress, who was really the only competent worker there, apparently, adjusted our bill. Do not stop here!!! No! Don't do it! We used to really love this place. Sunday lunch time. Simple, the wait staff was fine. Every thing in this is about the kitchen. The appetizers where poor. Queso was cold, the guacamole was 45 percent tomatoes. When the food came out it was in series. First 3 plates, all the rice and beans COLD , no beans with the 3rd. Next comes out and enchilada tops warm, but enchiladas cold. Last dish, nachos came out, soggy chips. Once I dive into mine, there is half an egg shell in the most expensive dish on the table, but it doesn't even have eggs. We visited regularly, but until they have new kitchen staff, I would stick with the bar area and buy jerky down the road. At least this way you know what you are getting read more

Easily the best Mexican restaurant in Jasper County area. Food always good with reasonable portion sizes , we've had the Nachos and Alambre both very tasty. They have a unique warm salsa they serve with chips very good too. Have returned twice and will again. read more

Grilled chicken in the quesadilla and queso fundido was not seasoned at all. Service wasn't good, despite being the only guests in the restaurant we still rarely saw our server. They also waited until half of the food came out to tell us that the fryer wasn't working for the chimichangas and that they were out of tamales.
