As you. Can see all grocery store ingredients

I really wanted to give this place a chance, but this has to be the worst burger place in Nevada, The taste was horrible. The food was overcooked and from a grocery store nothing is homemade

Um i think its safe to say they are known for their burgers. We order a to go order : onion rings, fish n chips, rack of ribs. We picked up the order came to our air b n b just to see we were missing the fish n chips. We got the fish and chips and well they look like the ribs (over cooked and dried, like they just refried the order). Food was not worth it despite the reviews :(.

Stopped here after traveling from Carson City and decided to give this establishment a try. It's definitely one of your hole in the wall burger joints with potential. Staff were warm and welcoming and the prices were about average for what you'd pay for a burger and fries these days. The food though? Ehh, I order the mexi burger which came with a single patty, single cheese and a green chile (I added bacon). I also ordered a side of onion rings. I honestly thought the burger had potential but the one thing that disappointed me was how dry the hamburger patty was and it lacked flavor. Onion rings were "onion rings" but I will say that I did love the ranch.

We come up to Lake Tahoe every year or so, and one the 'must eats' is Char-Pit. I usually go for the Char Burger or The Cheeseburger (really good burgers, generous portion sizes). Their fries are really good, the seasoning they use is tasty, also they're great dipping them in a side of their ranch.

This place is a little hole in the wall and the burgers were good. You can definitely taste the char, but they are on the expensive side. The bun was a tad too big for the amount of meat. I would recommend getting a double to have a good bun to meat ratio. Definitely has a small town feel, and the staff were all very kind.

Back for more delicious Char Pit! Best burgers in Kings Beach. Delicious fries always hot and crispy and the chicken sandwich is fantastic! Excellent and friendly service always from Alex! Thank you my friend!

service all standing around even owner without saying hi or are you ready to order. I have been coming to char pitt for couple years and if you notice in there photo the size of fries. Since summer has come the owner has decided to cut fries more than half and take up price. Cheep Cheep cutting costs wrong. Locals notice. not going back. Ranch dressing is watered down , So is fountain drinks. and all this for 23.00

This is one of these hole in the wall burger joints. This place had been around forever and we came in with minimal expectations as daughter really wanted a burger . We got the cheeseburger that was ok . Nothing too fancy , pretty basic . A tad better than in-and-out

We have eaten here several times over the past year and I was looking forward to a great burger, but left feeling disappointed. Not sure when it happened, but they seem to have replaced the patties with a Sysco-based option as it was small, and tasteless, even with a mound of mushrooms and cheese on top. The redeeming part of the meal was the onion rings, they were delicious. I just wish the burger was better. I hope this was just a bad turn, but we won't be rushing back anytime soon.

My family and I were at the lake for the day with friends on the west side. We stopped in Kingsbeach to grab a bite on the way home. Kids wanted burgers and Jason's grill was on an hour and a half wait. Char-pit it was. Cheeseburgers all around 1/4 and I've been on a low carb meals so no buns for mom. Prices were fair given we were on N. Lake. It was delicious and all the staff was very friendly and helpful. We dined outdoors and love their old school diner feel. We walked down the way to grab gelato and ice cream for dessert.

    Bacon cheeseburger extra cheese.

What are the operating hours? I drove there today and it was closed. It's almost an hour away from me but didn't care; it's totally worth it. But gas is kinda expensive $5.08 per gallon 😩

    Do they allow dogs outside?

    Yes

Do you do lettuce wraps instead of buns?

I do a bed of lettuce, but not a wrap

Is their veggie burger vegan (without the cheese and sour cream)?

Yes if you take the cheese and sour cream off. Another is the Portabella mushroom sandwich. If you take of the cheese and sour cream. There is honey in the chipotle sauce. If your ok with that

Ahi Napolean was the highlight with the BBQ/Spicy prawns coming in a close second. Three of us ordered the Lemongrass Ginger Brick Chicken and it was tender and juicy with just the right amount of Asian spices. We all raved YUMMY!! My wife had the Rack of Lamb which she enjoyed and I got to sneak a couple of bites...tender tasty. My friend's son had the Grilled Ribeye which was massive and oozing with juice. The Finale! Dessert is never an option with my Sicilian taste buds so Tiramisu and Pistachio Cheese Cake sedated and cleansed our palates! The overall dining experience was good as we sat outside on the patio with a perfect evening and no bugs in site! It was fairly busy and the servers were definitely having to add a couple of steps in their service. It's a beautiful spot almost on the lake and if you're a golfer, Old Brockway GC is a stunner and has some great history to go along with the perfect greens. Enjoy!

The Yard Hen offers early hours and the only real breakfast in town. They are open five days a week, Weds-Sun from 7AM to 2PM. Just off the beaten path of town (literally a block up from the main road), the Yard Hen is a hidden gem worth discovering. When my partner and I finally got down to check it out, it was lunch time. Whether you are vegan or definitely not vegan, Yard Hen has you covered. I got the Veggie Burger, and he opted for the Turkey Cranberry and Brie sando. The Veggie Burger was absolutely delightful. The ciabatta was warm, fluffy, and fresh, and in the age of processed veggie patties, the fact that this patty was homemade was a welcomed treat (I detected some quinoa in there, yum!). Throw in some creamy avocado, and homemade sauce and I had myself a winner! While I didn't try my partner's sandwich, I could tell he felt the same way. It was devoured. If you catch the Yard Hen on a Sunday when the partnering Bear Belly Brewing opens at noon, then you are in for a double treat. Cold, local beer, the warm Tahoe sun, groovy jams being played on the outdoor speakers, and a thoughtful Yard Hen creation will leave you, well... never wanting to leave really.

We haven't been going recently for a number of reasons, and our recent visit reinforced what those reasons were: - The beer is nowhere near as good as it was when it was made here in Incline. - The concept has changed from being a brewery to being a restaurant, so you get the crowds associated with that. - Food prices are through the roof, even though the food is pretty good. - Service is really crappy and not friendly or kind at all...for instance, when I asked for the difference between Chance of Crowds and Chance of Clouds, they pushed the menu toward me and told me to read it. When our pizza got delivered, I asked for plates and they said go to the bar and get them. These people must hate working here! - They've gotten rid of the nice grassy area in the back and while they've added a lot of chairs, the back yard is a bunch of sand and dirt now. Bottom line: I think Alibi in Incline Village is trying to turn into the Alibi in Truckee where there's lots of screaming kids running around, big crowds, blocked off sections for private parties, and mediocre beer. If you're looking for an average restaurant, this is it. If you're looking for a craft brewery, go to Revision in Reno.

The chop was grilled to perfection - moist (no pink meat) and nicely charred for the flavor. The glaze is a hint of sweetness and the creamy polenta is a winner.
