Was craving some casual Indian food and when I saw they had ROSE LASSI, I had to try it. (Could there be a better lassi than mango lassi?) My friend from India was quite pleased with this spot. For a casual Indian spot in the city the flavors were on point according to him. We ordered: Afghani Chicken Korma Biryani Bowl Butter Chicken Spicy Lamb Kati Roll Paneer Makhani Kati Roll Mango Lassi Rose Lassi Definitely agree this is a pretty good lunch spot.

I love Indian and really like this restaurant! When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and the place super comfy. I ordered: BBQ Spicy Paneer Taco with chicken Afghani Lamb Bowl Butter chicken Biryani Chicken Tikka Masala Curry I loved the butter chicken the most! It was a good experience!

Solid Indian lunch spot! Tried the paneer biryani bowl and it was flavorful! Wish it came with more of the yogurt/ raita on the side since the dish was a little dry but overall was worth getting. I'll def be trying more dishes

Really impressed with this little eatery offering takeout and a couple of seats. I had a specially prepared korma with a traditional Indian Lassi -all very filling. Well worth a visit during the lunch hour. I will be back. Menu items include: Afghani Chicken Korma Biryani Bowl This rich, creamy, and mildly spiced delicacy features aromatic basmati rice, charcoal-grilled chicken, and a velvety texture. It is served with mint yogurt for the perfect flavor balance. Butter Chicken Biryani Bowl Tender tandoor-grilled chicken in a creamy tomato-butter sauce, layered with fragrant basmati rice and aromatic spices. Served with mint yogurt for a perfect balance of richness and freshness. Spicy Tandoori Chicken Biryani Bowl A blend of succulent tandoori chicken, marinated in yogurt, garlic, and aromatic spices, layered with fragrant, saffron-infused basmati rice. Slow-cooked with caramelized onions, roasted cumin, served with cooling mint yogurt. Dum Chicken Tikka Biryani Bowl A blend of succulent chicken, saffron-infused basmati rice dum cooked with garlic, and aromatic spices, served with cooling mint yogurt. $21.49 Lamb Biryani Bowl Tender lamb, marinated in bold spices and slow-cooked to perfection, served over fragrant basmati rice infused with saffron and aromatic herbs. Spicy Tandoori Paneer Biryani Bowl A blend of spicy paneer tikka, marinated in yogurt, garlic, and aromatic spices, layered with fragrant, saffron-infused basmati rice. Slow-cooked with caramelized onions, roasted cumin, and a hint of ghee, served with cooling mint yogurt.

This spot is part of an emerging micro-neighborhood of quickish food purveyors targeting office workers plus those tourists who go to sleep early. I enjoyed the spicy tandoori paneer biryani. The complex spices had enough going on that I didn't even immediately add the accompanying green sauce. Will perhaps try out the kathi rolls next time.

Stumbled upon this place during Holi, needing something filling but vegetarian. Single seating, more of a take out vibe or solo lunch. "Signature Dishes" are freshly prepared, so I recommend ordering before coming if you're in a rush. Accidentally ordered the Biryani instead of the curry, bland and dry without the usual vegetables/raisins- will update when I try the other foods!

    Chicken Tikka Masala

I've enjoyed lunch at the Midtown location about ten times and I really enjoyed it. The Chicken Tikka Masala plate is very tasty. I also enjoyed the Chicken Tandori Kati Rolls. The Kati Rolls are reasonably priced (a little over $6 each). The restaurant staff are all very kind and accommodating. (I asked if they didn't mind substituting the salad for a small portion of rice and they did it with no problem). The restaurant floors and tables are all incredibly clean. They even have outlets on the tables (presumably to charge your phone? I didn't try them - not sure if they work). My only criticism is that it's a bit pricey. $17-20 for a platter. I understand given the location that the prices need to be enough to survive. However, there are other choices around. Perhaps reconsidering the menu and providing smaller options for less money (as far as the meals are concerned.) But this is a small criticism. Give Charcoal Eats a try -- great tasting food in a clean and friendly environment.

Ordered quesadillas and veg burger and came out dry and bland. Really disappointing. Had very high hopes and it was a massive letdown

However, we never really got to it, having been busy exploring the Semmas and Bungalows of the city. On a cold Saturday evening my partner and I decided to give Indian Accent a shot - got rather last minute reservations over the phone. They were kind enough to accommodate us for a 7 pm slot, and once we got there we were seated immediately. We chose the four course menu, and found each course to be better than the one before! The shorba (soup) and garlic kulcha amuse bouche was a nice touch to get things started - loved the tiny terracotta mugs. Proceeded onto the shakarkandi chaat and the chilly pork roti - the former reminding me of the delectable street food in Delhi winters with the latter being a very good Indian rif on birria tacos. The star of the show for me was the Tofu medu vada - so unique and flavorful and melt in the mouth! I've not had anything quite like it before. My partner had the wagyu kebab that he said was excellent! For mains we had the chicken malai and the paneer - both tasty, but by this point we were already so full, and had to get most of the mains to go. But because there's always room for dessert, for our final course we scarfed down doda barfi with ice-cream and sticky toffee banana pudding - both of which were finger licking delish! Our service was great too - Ty our server was so nice and had the best recommendations. I'd have never gone for the tofu medu vada among all the other options and he urged me to, and it really turned out to be the highlight of my meal. The cocktails were good too. All in all, I think this is such a nice upscale Indian dining spot for a night out in the city. Having tried most of the other trending newer spots, i think Indian Accent sits right among the top! I'd highly recommend and cannot wait to be back!

The place was exactly what we were looking for... Inexpensive, elegant, and comfortable atmosphere! The place wasn't busy. Amazing service and delicious food! The food was fresh and came out fast. Portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. I had the Lentil Soup as the first course and Aloo Gobi Matar as Entrée. Both were tasty, also gluten free, dairy free and soy free. Their menu offers a variety of choices, including options that are gluten free, dairy free, and soy free. A little corner of London magic right here in Hell's Kitchen!…read more If you've ever stood on a rainy London street, desperate for a bowl of proper Northern Indian food, you can stop romanticizing -- Jaz Indian Cuisine on Hell's Kitchen has that exact magic, and it's right here in Manhattan. The star of the show is Jaz herself -- the owner, hostess, and bartender all rolled into one wonderfully warm, charming British woman who somehow makes you feel like you've been a regular for years within thirty seconds of walking through the door. She's the kind of host who remembers how you like your chai and makes the whole room feel like her living room. Now, the food. The Chana Masala is deeply spiced, rich with tomato and chickpeas, the kind of dish that makes you question every mediocre version you've had before. The Saag is silky, fragrant, and genuinely soulful -- spinach that actually tastes like something. And the Onion Kulcha? Pillowy, caramelized, absolutely yummy -- the kind of bread you'll be tearing into long after you're full. The flavors here are the real thing -- bold, layered, and unapologetically authentic. This isn't watered-down, please-everyone Indian food. This is the genuine article, executed with care and a distinctly British-Indian sensibility that you rarely find outside of London. Every dish tastes like someone's nana's recipe, if that nana happened to be a brilliant chef. Do yourself a favor: add some spice to your life and get yourself to Jaz Indian Cuisine. Hell's Kitchen doesn't know how lucky it is.
