We had some communication with Shyy, who was polite and professional over the phone. We traveled 2 hours to check out the vehicle and met Shyy in person and we were impressed with his forthrightness. When I had questions about the vehicle, he and his supervisor produced documents to back up their position. We left the business with our vehicle and the feeling that we had been treated fairly. I would definitely do business with Button again.

She was either incompetent or a really bad A.I. robot, I could not tell which. After two non-responsive emails from Vinessa, I gave up and was done. I then got an email from Brian, the sales manager, asking if I got the information I needed. You can imagine my response to Brian. I was then contacted by Ryan Olsen who was my salesman through the rest of the process. Ryan was great. The best car salesman I have ever worked with. Most car salesmen fake caring about you, but Ryan really does care, not only through the sale, but with some issues that came up after the sale. Most dealerships these days try to pressure you or trick you into getting extra cost add-ons that you don't want and don't need. This was not the case with Button. I would be happy to do business with them again, especially if Ryan was my salesman.

Having your car totaled and suddenly needing to find a replacement is a frustrating experience…read more After narrowing my search to Honda Accord Hybrids, I found a few options around Indianapolis and Greenwood (within about a 25-minute drive). However, one listing at this dealership in Kokomo stood out. Since I didn't have a car and my only option was taking an Uber, I was grateful they were willing to work with me. Kylun Scott was amazing from start to finish. From our first conversation, he responded to my text messages very quickly, answered every question I had, and provided all the information about the car, including the vehicle history and reports. He was knowledgeable, professional, and never made me feel pressured. He even brought the car from Kokomo to Indianapolis so I could take a quick 10-minute test drive before driving it back. That level of customer service was the first sign that this dealership truly values its customers. After comparing the other local options, I decided this was the best car for me. I made the trip to Kokomo, and the team had all of my paperwork prepared in about two hours, making the buying process smooth and efficient. One suggestion for future buyers: if possible, bring a cashier's check instead of a large amount of cash. I ran into a minor inconvenience during the cash verification process. Also, I want to clarify that Kylun was **not** the person who sold me the tire and wheel insurance. That was handled by another supervising agent during the finance process. Based on my experience afterward, I would recommend carefully considering whether you need that coverage. I've called several repair shops around Indianapolis, and none of them accept this particular tire and wheel insurance, so it hasn't been useful for me. Overall, this was a great dealership experience during a stressful time. Kylun Scott went above and beyond, and I highly recommend asking for him if you're shopping for a vehicle. The only downside for me is that the dealership is about an hour away from where I live, so I'll probably have my routine maintenance done closer to home. Other than that, I'm very happy with my purchase and the outstanding customer service I received.

I dropped off my vehicle and left it at the service department. 2 hours later I get a text my vehicle is ready. I drive to pick it up and informed they stripped out the bolts. I'm like what happened? He said hold on and let me get another advisor. Mr Handy comes over and said the bolts are seized and they can't remove them. They are going to have to cut the bolts to replace the parts. I am thinking so when you repair a recall, you replace the new parts with the old existing bolts? Hmm... doesn't seem legit. Mr Handy told me I will just have to reschedule. I drove from out of town, had my elderly mom follow me because wasn't sure how long repair would take. I asked Mr Handy if I could at least get a free oil change or something for this inconvenience. He replied, "No, we don't do that." Kokomo Autoworld customer service department is subpar to any dealership I've ever been to. I feel like I did everything I could do to have a smooth experience and they are the ones that dropped the ball. Go elsewhere if customer service and professional repairs are important to you.

I spent nearly a month searching for the right seven-passenger vehicle for my family. I traveled…read morefrom Indianapolis to Fort Wayne and everywhere in between, scoured the internet daily, and test-drove enough vehicles to develop strong opinions about third-row legroom. During that month, I visited Brad Howell more than a handful of times ... several times in the pouring rain. Tony deserves special recognition for repeatedly standing outside while I inspected vehicles as though I were purchasing Air Force One. Sorry, Tony! After comparing dealerships across much of the state, no one could match Brad Howell's offer on our trade. A few came close, but only after learning what Brad Howell had already offered. Apparently, their calculators needed a little competitive motivation. I continued checking Brad Howell's website constantly, and one afternoon, exactly what we wanted appeared. It was so new to the lot that there wasn't even an actual photo yet. I immediately texted Tony. He explained that it hadn't been cleaned or serviced and still had an active recall to address... but said I could come see it first thing the next morning. Of course I did. At that point, I had spent a month searching Indiana and wasn't about to let a missing photograph or a little dealership dust stand between me and the finish line. They honored the trade amount they had previously quoted, discounted the vehicle a little, and I was signing papers shortly afterward. Financing was incredibly simple, and we completed most of the process through text, phone calls, and their website. Two days later, everything was ready, and I drove it home. Tony, Tommy, Justin, and Chris in finance made the entire experience remarkably easy. Chris handled the final paperwork quickly and secured a great price on an extended warranty... because after spending a month researching this purchase, I'd like to retire from major automotive decisions for a while... well, at least until the mood hits me. I was cautious, thorough, indecisive, and probably responsible for Tony checking the weather forecast every time he saw my name appear on his phone. Through it all, the team remained patient, professional, transparent, and never pressured me. I searched half the state just to discover that the best deal... and one of the easiest experiences... was at Brad Howell all along. Save yourself the miles, the spreadsheets, the endless online searches, and the rainy test drives. Start there first. Five very well-researched stars!

On March 23rd of 2023 my family purchased a 2012 Chevy Traverse with 115,000 miles from Adams Auto…read moreGroup in Kokomo, IN. According to our research, the main concern with this model was ensuring the timing chain was replaced at around 70,000-120,000 miles. The vehicle advertised, "BRAND NEW TIMING CHAIN!". We took every bit of money we had, $4,562 and took out a $4,000 loan from a 3rd party to pay a total of $8,562. On July 8th of 23, the vehicle lost all power (reduced power mode) then died. We had it towed to Adams to see what the issue was. Their service department declared it was the timing chain that broke and caused engine damage. They did not charge us and after a couple weeks they said they had "fixed" the bent valves and damage caused by the timing chain, and replaced the timing chain. We received the vehicle back and it had no, "check engine", light on and ran. We discovered the vehicle was leaking about half a quart of oil every other day, but could not find a leak anywhere. I took the vehicle into Adams again to see if they could fix it. They said they were sure they found the issue and needed to drill some kind of hole in a part of the engine to fix it. They charged us $300 for the service. Whatever they did, it didn't fix the issue and still was losing oil somewhere. We religiously made sure to check and add oil accordingly every time before driving the vehicle. On about March 18th, the vehicle lost all power,(reduced power mode) and died the exact same way it did when the, "BRAND NEW!", timing chain broke the first time. A week after towing the vehicle to Adams, they said the vehicle needed a new engine and was, "locked up." They said they found an engine with 105,000 miles on it for $2,000 and they would charge $3,000 for the labor to fix the vehicle. I still owe over $3,000 on the loan. I can not afford that and asked what they could do for me to trade it for something else. They offered to put only, $1,000 towards another purchase. I could not afford any of those options and opted to just have it towed home. On top of everything else, they refused to release my vehicle until I paid a $103 "Diagnostic fee". I asked for a print out of the diagnostic they ran and they were unable to produce it and admitted they didn't do anything but find out the engine wouldn't start. After doing more research, vehicles that have a timing chain break usually need a new engine because the damage done to the valves and other components can never be completely fixed and will eventually cause the engine to lock up from friction. This entire situation arose from either selling a faulty timing chain in the first place or some service error upon installing the timing chain. Please, Beware of this car lot and spending your hard earned money here.
