I think this place is a sure bet every time you go. You know your server will be well trained and attentive, and that your meal will be a good sized portion and very tasty. Worth the money. My husband and I split the roasted chicken with glazed carrots and mashed potatoes and wow was it good! It was also huge so I'm glad we split it. My nieces Mac n cheese never came out so when the server noticed he apologized and went right back to the kitchen to see what happened. Not only that, but the manager himself brought out her food and then asked us all how we were doing and if we needed anything. Perfect. Exactly what managers are called to do. Amazing service, and perfect food! Great for parties! We had a party in their side room, hosting roughly 31 people (max 35) for 2 hours. There was a minimum purchase - completely reasonable for a nice meal for 35 people. The space was very nice, and the max count of 35 for the space available seemed appropriate. The service was AMAZING. The staff was very communicative. Drinks kept coming to keep everyone happy. One large table placed their order first, and the staff confirmed we were ok with all food coming out separately, which we appreciated. They confirmed everything appropriate, down to asking if everyone was having cake. The food was PERFECT. Absolutely perfect. I'm not sure I've had that good of restaurant food in the last 6 months! To think it came as a big group is even more impressive. The blackened salmon I had was to die for. And the glazed carrots are always amazing too. We can't be any happier with the result. We were nervous going in - many places anymore seem to struggle with things like this - this location knocked it out of the park! read more

Went here for Father's Day with my family and was sat immediately with fast friendly service. Anytime a waiter sneaks in refills before I even think about asking I know I'm in a good place! It is a great local spot wherever you live or play. The ambience is really excellent! Service can be hit or miss, but it is obvious that the servers are trained and some are are different levels. The managers find good people who want to work and I give them kudos for training and keeping the service top priority. It's not an easy job these days. Food is exceptional, looks and tastes fresh every time we've been there. The available options and the Portions ate good and usually enough to bring some home. The style and interior furnishings are very nice. (Aside from one location with a few booths in an upper area, the seating is very comfortable - looks like an old lShoney's atrium). read more

We eat here often because the food is always the same, good. My "go to" is Walt's Champagne Chicken Salad.

The food was all amazing as were the staff. We really enjoyed our meals. The manager was present and came to our table to check on things as a courtesy, you don't see this in restaurants too much these days. Will definitely be back. read more

So this is one of my daughters favorite places and I offered to pick up her food after getting my food at another restaurant and bring him to her house. She called it in and it supposed to be ready at 5:30 last night. I got there about 5:35 in the whole online ordering/to go ordering parking lot is a little confusing. There are no instructions so I didn't know if I should go in or what? I walked up to the door on that side of the restaurant and it was for restaurant employee so I had to walk around to the front. The super sweet hostess (not) directed me to the bar. It took a cool minute or two or five for the bartender to ask me what I needed and I told him I had a to go order. I waited another 10 minutes before someone else came and brought my order. I think my daughter ordered the case so, chicken and the steak for her boyfriend. With a small tip, it was $60. I'm sure it was good but I am such a huge service person. It would've been nice for the bartender to offer me to sit down and maybe a glass of tea while I waited. I wasn't even a second thought to any employee in that restaurant. read more

For $18 + a 20% tip, I expected more than brown lettuce, no dressing, and remarkable lack of fruit. On Mother's Day, we ordered take-out. I had the Walt's Champagne Chicken Salad, which is an $18 dollar salad. They forgot the salad dressing, which is a vital ingredient to this particular salad, and some of the lettuce was brown. Furthermore, there was the equivalent of one strawberry and four pineapple chunks in the salad. There was no extra charge strawberry stem that was still attached. I've had this salad many times before and it's usually a pretty safe choice given that this particular location has a difficult time getting our take-out orders right. They usually forget something, and we just let it slide, but by the time they use old, brown lettuce in an expensive salad, and decide not to add any fruit to the chicken-fruit salad, it's time to leave a review. The first time in months that I have gone out as I am immune compromised because I have cancer. I checked this out and all chef are wearing gloves and masks. Wait staff is also wearing masks. All tables are sat at at least 10 feet apart. I know I am putting myself at risk, but this is the first restaurant I have felt like I would eat inside. Is Prime Rub worth it? Not sure, but this is the one place I feel somewhat comfortable in these times ! Update. I am staying at a hotel across the street. Charleston's is the only one so far that has a professional cleaning crew in. Still the only place I will ate in these times. I do not know the owner or anybody there. We gave Charleston's on Memorial a tryout yesterday. The starter was a cream spinach artichoke dip, really flavorful. Everyone loved it. We had a large group so I thought a lot of different things would have been ordered but thanks to a fantastic waiter (Spencer) most of us took his special recommend choice. Filet tips in a reduced mushroom/wine sauce. Just fantastic. The loan holdout ordered the parmesan crusted chicken super tender and delicious. We rounded out our meal with of Charleston's famous carrot cake, OMG! Charleston's is an amazing restaurant, with the best wait staff I've never encountered, & great food. I was in Oklahoma City for the first time for business. We were looking for a place that was near the convention center, and I wanted Ribs! Found this place, and the Uber driver told us that it was his favorite place to go! He was spot on! The ribs are spectacular! I had two sides of coleslaw instead of beans and fries. It was delicious! The wine Sav Blanc from New Zealand was really good! My colleague had the parm crusted chicken. I was not too thrilled with that. They are getting 3 star because of the server and even the manager as how they did the job. Food was bad. My husband call his steak "dog food" my Faye in law said his mash potatoes were sour and his belly paid for it later. ( old fashioned and eat his food) my husband did not and did not wanted anything else either. At that point ... nope. I was the one who quietly told my sever how had the manager come over. The problem was the whole table did not needed to know it. Would I be back... nope. We don't live there so I will try other place.
