I have been going here since they opened. Probably 1-2 a month for several years. My wife and will get lunch here from time to time. Sometimes my kids as well. I dont expect much but what they advertise they do well. Honest product for the price. Thats what I thought until tonight... I will never go near here again. Just a bad vibe from the time I walked in. Came from work after a 12 hour day. Got nothing but dirty looks from the cashier and cooks. I have a food allergy and specifically requested no mayonase.. I watched the person make the sandwich then put it on a bun with mayonnaise. When I let them know I requested no mayonnaise. They picked up the meat and slung it back on the grill and got a new bun. I let them know thats not how allergies work and got nothing but snarls from the cook who promptly cooked another meat without a word. Every interaction seemed to point that I was not welcome here. Food is great and always fresh! The service is pretty standard. But what do you expect considering it's younger people making minimum wage? The other reviews on here are ridiculous. It's not bad at all. Again, it's not really a sit-down restaurant. It's Charleys Philly Steaks steaks not Bern's steakhouse. Sometimes I like to sit in the outdoor area which is very peaceful and has cute little birds to watch. Every time the owner has helped me he has been attentive and kind. I went here on my lunch today, and was excited to see that it was finally opened. The place was nice and clean, and the people working were very nice. There were various types of chicken and steak sandwiches that were freshly grilled. My sandwich was pretty good with grilled philly steak and mushrooms and cheese. You can also pick additional things to go on it, like mayo or tomatoes, etc. I had a strawberry lemonade and that was pretty good. All in all, it was very quick, convenient, and pretty tasty. I would go back to check out other sandwiches. I did not have any fries, and just had the sandwich and drink. The lemonade was quite tasty but for almost $3, I think that's kind of pricey. But all in all, pretty good. I will be happy to go back again and try other sandwiches. read more

Went to Charleys for the first time today. I was very disappointed because I have heard such great things about them. The service was slow. Waited over 30 minutes for my meal. They were very disorganized and were giving people the wrong order. Paid for a large fry and and a Regular Philly cheese steak. The cheese steak was small for the price and there were not a lot of fries. (I would hate to see what the small is like). The cheese steak had no flavor and was not the way I ordered it. I have NEVER left a review on anything before, that is how badly I was disappointed. I don't think I will ever go there again. read more

Walked in, there was a customer waiting to be helped, there were 3 employees talking and no one greeted me or the guy in front of me. Stood there for 3 minutes before walking out for being ignored. Pitiful. Most places blame being short staffed but they had 3 employees to 2 customers and yet they couldn't even acknowledge our existence. read more

I had the chicken teriyaki sandwich and enjoyed it. They also have salads and the prices are fair. It's about $6 for a medium sandwich and drink. The ladies room is a single, but has a changing station and the room is large in case you are dealing with bringing a stroller or wheelchair in. The device fast and friendly. read more

Food was subpar and who I believe is the manager or owner was extremely rude. My friend and I each had a free buy 7 card and because I had been to a Charley's before my friend asked me to order for them. I used the first buy 7 for myself and as I was giving him the second FOR my friend. He absolutely REFUSED to take it, saying I can't do that and he wouldn't make any money. I've used these cards before, due to the fact I work at a different mall and I frequently Charley's often and have never had any problems. I understand it's one card per order & customer. This man would NOT explain why he wouldn't except the card besides the fact that he "wouldn't be making any money" The food I received was alright, I ordered a chicken California with ranch and mayo. The ranch was everywhere on the side of the wax paper and all over this bun making it a disaster to pick up and eat. My recommendation, go somewhere else to eat. Even though my sandwich was free, it definitely was not worth the time or energy to go somewhere with people so rude. read more

Charley's is good place to get a quick bite to eat while you're shopping at Wiregrass. The outdoor seating and people-watching is nice. My wrap was pretty good too. Even as they were closing at 6pm on a Sunday night, they were happily letting people come in and still order. That's good service if you ask me! read more

Just a terrible place. It was about 100 degrees inside. I complained to the manager and she shrugged her shoulders and informed me that 'they have to work in this'. Checked them out over the weekend and must say, the teriyaki chicken sub is so tasty and very fresh. I genuinely feel they have one of the best hot subs in the area. They bacon cheese fries are also very good and everything is quite filling. I'm not normally a fan of onions but to be honest the mixture and flavors of the sub actually made me enjoy the onions on the sandwich and weren't too many or overly powerful. I will be back and bring the kids next time. read more

I would have given a three star for average but nit now. The day we were there it was 85 outside and the manager or owner was walking around the shop and to the tables outside giving everyone bottles of water and asking how tge food was except us. My daughter and I were tge only ones he didn't visit or offer us water at the three or four tables inside. He came back around inside by the back door and had two bottles keft so I thought he'd come to our tabke. NOPE he did however glance at us. So we will not be wasting our money here ever ever ever again. That and tge price for a small sub, drink and fries was a bit much for what you actually get not worth it. I'm sure I would have gone back next trip to the farmers market but, not now. I'll spend my money somewhere that appreciates our patronage. read more

I like the food, it's tasty quick & inexpensive... but there's a Brit kid that works there & boy is he just plain rude & snarky! I simply asked him if his accent was British & the kid started complaining & lecturing me! Chill out dude, I was just making conversation - I really couldn't care less. He was also rude to the folks behind me. It's happened a lot & he needs basic training in manners/etiquette. Honestly, if we see him working - we don't bother going in the place. I always go to Charley's when I'm in the mall or at Wiregrass. I even go to Charley's if I'm in another city or state. I typically get the Philly Cheese steak with grilled onions, green peppers, mushrooms and white American. I add light lettuce, tomato and pickles to my sub. It's good each and every time I have one regardless of the location I'm visiting. On my last visit I got the chicken philly which included bbq sauce. However, instead of bbq sauce I asked for buffalo sauce which they obliged. Charley's offers combo meals which I usually avoid because I am not a fan of their fries. However, I do enjoy the flavored lemonade that they offer. All in all Charley's is a pretty good sub place for a delicious Philly Cheese steak. read more

And speaking of employees, there is usually 5 too many working at one time , just standing around without a care in the world. It seems like it's everyones first day. Always come here when I get a hankering for a cheese steak. I'm not delusional, I know it's not "authentic" Philly, but it's the fact that the taste consistency of the product is the same. Always a friendly hello, quick service and a clean environment. You usually get the fries after your sandwiches. That is ok in my book as it ensures fresh hot fries. They recently started carrying several varieties of hot sauces which only makes me enjoy the sandwiches even more. read more

Not a bad cheesesteak. I had the bacon and 3 cheese add mushroom and while I would like a lil more steak on it the bread was super soft. The surprise of the day was my beautiful wife's Buffalo chicken cheesesteak. Great taste and the chicken ends up tasting like chicken. If your at the Wiregrass Mall it's worth a try. read more

Food is great but the hours of operation are horrible. At 9pm on a Friday night I had to go to Moes because Charleys was closed.

I've been to this location 3 times because my son likes it but always slow and we've never gotten our order right.

If only I could give this place 0 stars. Spent $8 on a sub I couldn't even eat. This place isn't made for vegans but it is supposed to have vegan alternatives. I ordered a veggie sub no cheese and first off they put it next to meat on the grill. THEN they used the same utensils for the meat as my veggies. After that the guy touched someone else's order with cheese and then touched mine! Gross, and to top it off he then put my veggies where the meat just was. The separation from a veggie sub and a meat sub was not there. To the worker - there was no difference. I couldn't even look at this sub it was disgusting. Not to mention the workers were very rude and unkept and the place was a rat hole. Never coming back again. read more

The sandwiches here are good BUT the guy taking my order told me to insert my card, which I did, and then he walked off. The card reader finished the transaction and I went to wait for my sandwich. The guy then comes back and says the transaction didn't go through. I asked him to make sure it wouldn't charge me twice and he goes "I'm not going to give you your sandwich unless you pay for it". All is fine, until you accidentally leave a shopping bag next to the register and the people working try and keep it. Went back 30 seconds after walking away and the two women working up front said they didn't have anything or know what we were talking about. Our friend said she saw one of the men immediately walk up to the register after we left and stay for a while. I've been here three times, and each time I get the buffalo chicken sandwich, minus the grilled onions. My boyfriend and I decided to eat there this past weekend, and my boyfriend got the philly cheese steak, minus the mushrooms. He was pleased with his first experience, and I enjoyed my sandwich, as I did the other two times. The manager seemed a little annoyed with us looking over the menu (we were the only ones in there, they had just opened about 20 minutes prior), but the other employees were very friendly, and the restaurant is clean. This place is absolute garbage!!!! I Order 3 meals and the cashier guy who barley spoke English took the order wrong and couldn't understand that I want 2 small sandwiches and 1 medium sandwich. Once he charged me I looked at the receipt and he jacked my order up, then he wants to argue and tell me I only order 2 sandwiches. What a joke this place is and not to mention the French fries came approximately 15 mins after the sandwiches were served. Never again will I come back to this dump. read more
