Ok, I have to knock off a star for the shear sticker shock of my favorite dish here. We have been planning our trip to this place for half a year. We had been in town for a few days so I figured it was time... Myself and my kids went today for an early lunch, to my surprise I found that their all-you-can-eat Alaskan Snow Crab legs were priced at $64.99 instead of what I expected; a small increase from the $38.00 they were last time. Apparently this is not entirely their fault, I understand it's a market thing, but wow. Anyway, I also gathered that this might be the last year for it based on the feel I got from the staff. So, you only live once, so we proceeded to get what we came for. Now, from this point the experience was what I expected. The service was great, the food was excellent. They are famous for all you can eat crab legs for $37.99; but on Tuesdays they have Crabby Tuesdays where you can get 2 lbs of crab legs with a side for $19.99, and if you want more they can upgrade you to the all you can eat. Believe me that 2 lbs of crab legs are a LOT; and that's about all we could hold. The wait here can be a little long to get a table, because it is not a very big place, but it is pretty popular with visitors and locals. we stopped in on a Friday night for our first visit here, we had about a 20 minute wait. Once we got to our table the server was nice and attentive. We ordered the onion rings as an appetizer and they were fantastic! Their tea was not so good, we sent it back and opted for Cola instead. I ordered the cajun chicken pasta. When the waitress brought it out it looked dry to me but it was actually very good. The seasoning was just right as was the amount of sauce. This place was okay! The prices were affordable and the wine was good but the food wasn't that great. We got the shrimp Alfredo and the fish Alfredo and both of them were very bland. There wasn't any flavor at all so neither of us finished the dishes because they just didn't taste very good. The server was very nice and like I said the prices were good. You will have to take this review for what it's worth, I don't do sugar or spicy stuff, this place is known for its wings and ribs, because I end up doing naked wings and ribs I believe I'm a very good judge of the meat itself. This was doable but nothing to write home about, likewise for the atmosphere, the service was good but I literally was only person sitting at the bar. Now having said that, you Gotta know I'm from Oklahoma, believe it or not we have excellent barbecue. In Kansas City one of the best barbecue joints is called Oklahoma Joe's because the dude is from Oklahoma. This is Florida not a place known for barbecue, so if that's really really what you want for supper you can go here. I encourage you to look at the menu before deciding.
