Is this a chain? I see several pizzerias in the area with this name. I stopped here to get mom lunch 8/26, it's very close to where she lives so I'll be back. The place is big, and it appears to have a bar. I'm trying to stop at every pizzeria in the area to compare. I had a plain slice and Sicilian slice. It was average but I will return at some point to try other items on the menu. They seemed to be doing brisk business so give them a try! read more

Never ordering again. Almost 3 years i have ordered my autistic son the same pizza . At least 3-4 times a week. I had a problem with my order 2 times . I asked them to replace the pizza the proper way its normally made the owner / manager jumped on the phone disrespectful telling me NO! Charlie's used to be great for delivery but not anymore. If you order hot food it comes late and it's cold..my suggestion would be to order cold food but yet it will still be delivered late but you won't have to worry about your food being cold cause it already is. read more

I am gluten intolerant so in the 10 years I've lived here I have never ordered from a pizzeria. But I saw where Charlie's had a gluten-free pie and I decided to try it, along with a side of fried calamari. It was easy to order online, I got a first time customer discount, and the delivery came on time with a very nice driver. The food was absolutely delicious. I regularly go here all the time. It's our local neighborhood pizza pub. The pizza is delicious, I also love the wraps. They will make them any way you want them. Love the eggplant parm, I also get that with vodka sauce. The workers are all very nice and welcoming. They have daily specials and football Sundays they also have specials. It's a great time. Went here last Monday for dinner with my husband and kids and was pretty disappointed. My husband and I were jonesing a thin crust pizza. So we asked the waitress and she suggested the Margherita pizza. So we added extra garlic to it also. Well.... The food came out and my husband and I looked at each other and were surprised. The pizza came out and it was NOT.... A Margarita Pizza. Our pizza came out with what looked like bruschetta then topped with basil that I believe was very old as it was black and yes... I know what cooked Basil looks like....and then topped with fresh Mozzarella and garlic. Well... We didn't return it because 1. Its not the waitresses fault that the pizza maker doesn't know what a Margarita is. 2. I didn't want to have "additional ingredients" added to my food. If you catch my drift. So... Charlie's has okay food and pizza and I usually order pizza from here due to it location. However, I noticed several fees (see copy of online order below). Now I know just about every type of is business is charging some type of fees. But I never noticed a charge for picking up an order from the business. In addition to. 72 cent service charge, Charlie's charges a 50 cent service fee when you go to the restaurant and pick up your purchased food. I think that is taking added service fees to another level and a bit insulting to their customers. So I will take my business elsewhere and it the new pizza restaurant has excellent pizza, than I will not mind playing the service charges. It's funny that Mellow Mushroom opened down the street because Charlie's Pizza is much better than theirs, but you still get your bar. The crowd can be a little cliquey at times, but I can usually still get a seat. Pizza and beer go together, so it's nice to have a good pizza place with beer, too. Tastes OK, but a bit expensive. I stopped in on a friend's recommendation, to grab a quick lunch for the road. I asked for 2 slices and the employee asked if I wanted the "lunch special", 2 slices and a drink. Sure, why not. The bill came to $7.47, which seemed like a lot to me. I asked how much slices were, and was told $2.50. My math skills aren't the best, but that special doesn't seem very special to me. I walked out with a plain slice (which was tiny), a pepperoni slice (regular size slice with a modest 6 pieces of pepperoni), and an impressively small (8 oz?) fountain drink cup. And I doubt I will walk back in there because there is much better pizza at more reasonable prices just 2 minutes down the road. Discovered Charlie's pizza few weeks ago. Great crispy pizza. Went back the next day with guests.Again great pizza. Went back today to get pie to go.... Terrible!!! Dirty bottom pie, called them to tell them to " clean your ovens". Kid said ok. Ya right!!! I saw a lot of negative reviews obviously owner doesn't give a damn. We stopped in looking to watch a little football and have a few drinks without having to fight for bar seats. Luckily, this place delivered. It's a very nondescript looking place. It just appears to be yet another pizza place in a strip mall, but we saw the "and pub" on the sign and decided to take a chance. The place is a normal looking pizza/Italian place with a medium sized bar in the back with TV's and a few bar tables. They had a great all night happy hour special for Saturday nights. The beer pints were running about $2.50. You can't beat that with a stick. We also wanted to check out the menu. I decided on the single (1 lb) order of wings, medium hot. My fiancee grabbed a rice ball and just felt like having a side of meatballs (2). The chicken was pretty good. Fried wings, but they were quite meaty and the medium heat was pretty good, some wings were hotter than others, but overall very tasty. Kathy K enjoyed her rice ball and meatballs. She even grabbed a cannoli which of course I tried and was delicious. This is a classic example of trying a new place and not judging a book by it's cover. I've only had their burgers, pizza, & garlic knots so far, and all were really good. Burgers are nice size on big rolls. This helps to keep the toppings on, which are plenty of whichever you choose. A burger deluxe ( w/fries) & a drink is plenty of meal, leaving you full. They're not skimpy with the pizza toppings, and the pizza is classic Jersey style. Medium thick crust & pie & cheesy. Also, it's not that greasy. Real tasty. The garlic knots were medium-sized, garlicy, & they serve their own sauce, not just some bland marinara. They have a restaurant area seperated from their bar with a few t.v.'s, so you can bring the family & not worry. Plenty of seating as well. I thought the prices were about average, not too expensive. The service has always been friendly, eating in or picking up. It's a good night out for the family, a date, or just grabbing a bite. read more

As soon as we walked in the waiter completely ignored us, then when we did get our seat not only was the waiter rude but the drinks were wrong they brought out cold pizza while our one other person in the party had to wait 15 minutes for the food to come out overall a terrible experience, do better. read more
