There's a Mexican mocha in here.
    Kristina B.

Bean Dream popped up on my recommendations as soon as we landed so it was the first stop. The shop is tiny. There were a few tables and some bar seating along the wall. The service was friendly. The patrons were also friendly. My fella and the other guys in the shop were having a lively conversation about soccer. Anyway, I ordered a lox bagel and a Mexican mocha. The Mexican mocha was delicious. It was velvety rich of chocolate and warm spices. The coffee was perfect. The bagel was a great portion and just enough to send us off for a nice hike. My fella ordered the cortado and the breakfast burrito. He was not as impressed with his coffee as he was with mine. He also said the spice in the burrito was overwhelming. Overall, an excellent start to the trip.

hot mexican mocha, Grilled Cheese, Tomato soup, and iced gansito latte.

We got their grilled cheese, tomato soup, mexican mocha, and iced gansito latte! It was fulfilling and I would definitely recommend the mexican mocha and their tomato soup! The service was fast and they were really nice. It's a cute woman owned coffee shop and the menu also includes food!

This new coffee treat features strawberry filling, chocolate, cream, and pieces of the popular cake! You gotta mix it really well but I like how it differentiates each ingredient. I'm not sure if the coffee base is my favorite but for a drink like this it's more for the add ons anyway. They have a general menu of other drinks and foods that make for a convenient stop during the day too. They have a small seats/tables inside for a quick stop. Service was friendly.

Such a cute cozy coffee shop. Highly recommend the horchata latte! And banana bread! They're really quick and sweet, owned by a mom and daughter duo. They are really attentive and kind. Definitely stop by if you're in the city

LOVEEEE their coffee. Horchata Latte Iced hits every time. I add some cinnamon to top it off. Their chicken panini is very flavorful too!

Wonderful staff and such a welcoming atmosphere. It feels like a true family-run spot, which is exactly the kind of charm we love in the Outer Sunset. Great coffee selection, and the prices are surprisingly affordable for the quality. Definitely a new neighborhood gem. Their location isn't showing on Google Maps yet - so let's show them some love.

First time I got a leg of lamb and more recently some double cut pork chops…read more I'm sure they are helpful if you ask questions but they were pretty busy both times I came in and it felt like you needed to know what you wanted for the most part. For the leg of lamb, I think most people get a whole leg of lamb. That was way too much for me and I think the butcher thought I was confused when I asked for less and asked me what I was doing with it. He ended up saying he could give me a half leg of lamb and I agreed. Thar was about 3 and a half pounds (bone included) which was the perfect amount. I seared it and then braised it and the meat fell off the bone. Delicious and the price was pretty good. I was cooking my first pork chop and decided to come here to get it. Their pork isn't labeled as Berkshire or Duroc or anything but that probably keeps the price down. For chops, they had boneless, bone in, and double cut (which was also bone in). I mentioned I wanted it to be about 2 inches thick and the butcher said to get the double cut.I got 2 beautiful thick pork chops for $6.99 a pound so about $18 total. The regular cut bone in pork chops were the same price though obviously smaller. I brined this overnight and reverse seared it and it was great. The chop was a loin chop- loin and then a tenderloin nugget- not a pure rib chop. Cooked really nicely and was tender which I think was partially the overnight brine and also their pork. They do sell some vegetables and grocery supplies if you want to just make a single stop. They also have a deli with some sandwiches that looked good and prepared foods. I was very focused on buying the things I came in for and getting on with my day both times but I would like to take a closer look in the future as it looked good. Solid butcher shop and clearly loved since it was busy both on a weekend and during the week. I'm sure I will be back.

A roast beef for hubby and turkey havarti cheese in Dutch Crunch for me. At the concert, hubby thought the bread was too dry and didn't like the sandwich. My turkey meat was good but I'd agree the bread wasn't so great. I ate the leftover 1/2 sandwich at home the next day and it was better after putting it thru the toaster oven. But I think sandwiches taste better from the nearby Safeway even.

This is probably the only place where the sandwiches don't taste like the store's essence…read more I mean, don't get me wrong, a store's essence from any given deli/liquor store definitely adds unique character to the sandwich and sometimes I want that in a sandwich. But when you want a sandwich that only tastes like its ingredients, Irving Subs is the spot. Their Dutch crunch is famous for being fresh and actually crunchy. Their lettuce is shredded but fresh and crispy. The salt content is just enough to bring out the flavors. And the overall composition of their sandwiches are very well proportioned. You're not getting skimped, but you're also not biting into a mouthful of a packet of deli meat. They definitely know what they are doing. Service is good and ambiance is a small humble shop on the corner of 12th Ave.

Back then, there were sliced cucumbers in the sandwich. I finally returned again recently and tried the Giants sandwich (turkey, cheddar, thick cut bacon, avocado) and Goodfellas (salami, mild coppa, prosciutto, provolone, pesto sauce). The Goodfellas was a bit too salty with the meats + pesto sauce. I think more lettuce/tomatoes/red onions and slightly less meats would've helped balance it out better. I had requested extra red onions, but it looked like the same amount as the other sandwich we got with no extra onions. Also was not a big fan of their pesto. We both preferred the Giants, which was relatively more balanced, but it was still not a very exciting sandwich. The primary flavor was salt, with only a few bites of sourness from the pickles, yet it also gave the overall impression of blandness. The house garlicky mayo didn't have any noticeable garlicky-ness. I also couldn't taste any of the brown mustard or house vinaigrette. The Dutch crunch bread was quite dry and both thin and dense. It looked so good in the pics since it's so stacked with colorful ingredients, but it did not pull through in terms of flavor. Halfway through I was just eating it to fill my belly with sustenance rather than enjoying it (though I didn't hate it either). Prices still seem pretty reasonable for the portion size; that would probably be the main draw for me if I ever return again. Maybe I will give the November sandwich one more shot next time.

There's a public outdoor seating area converted from a parking lot to the side of Dinosaurs, I believe City of SF operates this public space. I ate my sandiwch peacefully in that space.
