Wax was okay, but didnt get all of the hairs off so I had to painfully pluck at home! Pedicure wasn't bad but did not receive any exfoliating scrub as the other customers were, even though I was receiving the same service. No chip manicure was HORRIBLE! Worst I've gotten so far. I've been here twice and really like the service. The owner is super friendly as well as the staff. Both times I had a no chip and they have lasted. Not set up for pedicures. I went in with a groupon for a no-chip pedicure. The staff is SUPER friendly, and they were cleaning the place (that already looks new). I have no gripes about that. The pedicure was only meh. First of all, they have sink basins for your feet, like you'd find on a counter. Not necessarily built for feet, and with that skinny edge, there's no place to rest your foot except on the knee of your nail tech. A bit of a stretch from those straight-back chairs when you have short legs, so it's not exactly comfortable compared to places with recliners and foot sinks with foot rests. Glad to see they opened a new scrub/file pack, though I'm not sure how their metal instruments are sterilized. She did some scrubbing on my feet, but not enough to get the dead skin off my heels. The scrub on my nails was a bit rough and I got a small cut in my cuticle. No massage. Not in a hurry, and competent, but not a relaxing experience. I think a lot of the problem is the weird set-up that looks great but just doesn't work for the task. The nail tech had to balance my foot and the plastic UV nail hood (which is supposed to rest on a flat surface) on one knee WHILE AT THE SAME TIME painting the toes of my other foot one-handed. So awkward for her to manage that. My nails look cute, but there's still dead skin on my feet, and it kind of feels like I could've done this myself at home if I'd bothered to take the time. Maybe that was all that was promised in the Groupon (the Groupon and the salon page don't talk about what's included in the pedicures) but it seems if you're trying to attract business -- especially in an area with plenty of nail salons -- you'd want to really go above and beyond. They seem super-nice, and my friend loves their eyelash services, but the rest of it has some kinks that need to get worked out. read more

I got my lashes done by Nelly yesterday. She is great! This salon is so elegant and offers great customer service. All of the workers were welcoming and very professional. I am being nice giving 2 stars. After today's experience I will not be returning there. This was my second time coming to this nail salon. The first time I received services here on 3/31 it was ok only because of the tech. I think her name is Rose and she was very informative on nail care. But one of the lash techs, which I think is one of the owners was not friendly. She didn't speak, didn't ask if I wanted to set another appointment, didn't say thank you have a good day, nothing. She walked around with her nose in the air. Well today was worse. I don't mind waiting for services but it was the lack of nail techs that was working. There was 2 nail techs working on a Saturday, on Mother's Day weekend!!! They had so many people come in and complain that Frank told them to come at a certain time but they were no longer accepting anymore people because there were already so many people waiting and only had 2 nail techs!! Also while the nail tech was finishing up my no-chip mani, Mel I think is her name, walks over and asks the tech what is taking you so long, are you doing nail art, Frank wants to know. (This is the same girl from the first visit with the bad attitude) She walks away after the tech tells her no, I had to soak her pervious no chip off. Then she returns and say, Frank said that you have to charge her for the soak off.... I almost lost my mind but I had to keep my cool because you all have done a little too much today. The nail tech also informed me that I may get charged for plastic over my toe nail polish too. So after I check out, Frank stops what he is doing to see if I was charged for the soak off. I asked him, why would I pay for something that I wasn't charged for last time. He continues to ask me when I was there and he will waive the fee since I wasn't charged last time. I wasn't going to pay the fee anyway because there is nothing on their website or price list in the salon that you charge to soak off no-chip to put no-chip polish on!!! I WILL NOT SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR IN THIS PLACE!!!! read more

This isn't my first time coming here and having a bad experience. First time my nail appointment was canceled the day before when I was supposed to be going out of town the following day. I had a nail appointment and lash appointment. They kept my lash appointment and there was no issue there. One month later I finally schedule my pedicure and no chip. My appointment was for 1230. They didn't star until 1 and then not one but two clients after me had already finished their pedicures and I didn't have a single drop of polish on my feet. I've been here for two hours now and I'm not getting my no chip. They didn't even take off my previous no chip properly. This is extremely upsetting. I will no longer be coming here. I rather pay triple for better and faster service. They offered to have me come back another time yet they are "always" booked. They said I could refund my Groupon. And come back free of charge. At this point after having two negative experiences I will no longer be doing business here. Any other nail salon will have you in and out with higher quality. I am not a satisfied customer. Wow! My regular lash tech at a different company cancelled on me right before my vacation! so I did a google search and found this place. The owner Frank is very accommodating., he got me in the same day I called! Seema (Sima?) my lash tech is amazing! I've been wearing lashes for years and she gave me a beautiful wispy style no other lash tech was able to accomplish. She is a true artist! I would highly recommend her! Worst customer service ever at this place! They have no idea how to run a business! I felt so disrespected as a customer. It started off with an appointment I setup (specifically during my lunch break) for a lash fill. I arrived at noon and notified Frank (one of the owners) that I was there to see Melanie (lash tech/owner) Frank asked me to sit down and wait and said that Melanie would be right with me. I sat down and waited 15 minutes before I was told that Melanie was not in!!!! First off, how do you lie to your customer and allow them to show up with not so much as a phone call to notify them of their appointment cancellation!! Despite this situation, I still opted to purchase a gift certificate for a friend. I paid for the gift certificate and was told that it would be emailed to me. I made sure to stress that it was a gift I would be giving the following morning. I was assured it would be sent right away. I trusted they would send it and it was never issued to me. I made multiple calls and send several emails and nobody would get back to me. I waited 5 days and never received the gift card. I ended up having to call my bank to notify them that the charge was fraudulent. It wasn't until they were contacted by my bank about the dispute that Frank finally decided to give me a call. He "claimed" the transaction never went through, yet it was deducted from my bank account the day I purchased the gift certificate. Frank did nothing to try and keep me as a client and acted as if nothing had happened. This is the worst business practice I have ever encountered and I will NEVER step foot in that place again. Terrible service! The staff were nice enough, but they are so unorganized and they do the minimal amount of work possible. I went there because I got a Groupon; no chip mani and pedi for $40. For nails, you don't make an appointment so I walked in. There was a lady who made an appointment for her lashes at 3:45 and because the lady who was supposed to do it was getting food, she wasn't seen until 4:30. They never even apologized for making her wait. I was able to be seen right away but I felt bad for that lady. My pedicure was done first. They do it in a sink and there's nowhere to put your feet when they come out the sink, so you have to put your feet on the persons lap. It's super awkward and uncomfortable. I asked the lady for a parrafin treatment and she responds "well I have someone coming at 4:30 so I can't do it". I respected that, but wondered why she even took me in the first place. It was already 4:15 and she hasn't even started my no chip. So someone else would be held up from their apt time. I also was basically denied a service, but I get things happen, so whatever. The lady did a terrible job scrubbing my feet. I didn't have a lot of dead skin, so it shouldn't have been that hard to get it off. The foot file she used was so worn down, and she spent like 20 seconds scrubbing. They don't do any leg massages or any fancy stuff period. The only saving grace was that the nail polish I picked was super cute. When it was time to start the no-chip I asked her if someone else would do it due to her apt. She responded that someone else took that person. Wait...so I was denied a service for no reason?! I could've done a better job at my nails. She pushed the cuticles back and didn't really remove them so it looks weird because they're kind of sticking up. It's cute enough, but not even worth the amount of he Groupon. I was going to also buy a wax I saw for this place on Groupon, but no thanks. I'll never come here again. read more

There was only one other technician and she was busy with her client. She kept calling someone to come and they took forever to get there so I left. Let me start by saying that when Mellany was still part owner, this was my go to for lashes. She did a great job! However, when I showed up for my last relash appointment (booked while she was still part of the business), I had an awful experience. Not only was I not notified that Mellany had left but I was not notified that if I still wished to go in for my appointment, they were running far behind schedule. When I arrived, Frank (current owner) couldn't have cared less about the inconvenience and not being able to accommodate my appointment. He was rude, lied about how long the wait time would be and didn't even bother apologizing. I booked my appointment for a light/medium lash application and I was really happy with the whole experience. The woman that did my lashes was very patient with my inability to chill out my eyes (I was nervous bc I've had my lashes tinted elsewhere before and it really stung.) She was able to distract me and get me talking and I really enjoyed talking with her. I'm not gonna lie, it hurt when I got up and tried to open my eyes, but the stinging was sort of worth it. I have very faint, short eyelashes and I went almost 3 weeks of no eye makeup because I wanted them to last (and didn't want to use eye makeup remover) She said it's fine to use an non-oil based remover but I still wanted them to last. They were definitely distracting for the first week or so but now I want to go back and get more! read more

I have been to a few of the Lash techs and they are all very creative and make my extensions look natural. I always get compliments. I also have had my eye brows shaped to perfection. This place seems as if they want to take your money. 1st time I went to this place, they screwed up my appt time and I was leaving to new york that day so the guy gave me a 25$ discount. later, I scheduled an appt with charmed lash and lashes were ok. I called to schedule my refill and was given a runaround. They canceled my appt due to not confirming on my text message and the guy argued with me about not checking my e-mail (what a rude service), then I tried I tried to reschedule and was given the runaround. I work so I tried to get appt after 5. Some of the girls left early and was not able to get me in. The guy who answers the phone did not call me when I was constantly calling about cancellations and then tried to charge me for a refill costing 50$ after trying to get in with them. I purchased a Groupon for two no chip Essie manicures. I used the online booking app for appointments and easily made two appointments. When I arrived both times, I chose my nail color and was taken on time. My no chip manicure lasted for more than two weeks and I received many compliments about my nails. Not worth the price I paid for the Groupon (which even included a discount code)! Aesthetician (I don't have a name because she didn't greet me or introduce herself), was over forty minutes late for the appointment. Again, I was not greeted, I received no apology, and she seemed to be upset that I was not in a good mood. Who would be after having to wait that long because the person woke up late!!!??? It's worth mentioning my appointment was for 11:30am...the young lady must have been partying hard the night before. To make matters worse, it took her OVER 45 minutes to do a wax!!! I know what you're thinking, damn, how much did I have??? No, I wax every 4-5 weeks....the young lady just had no idea what she was doing. I know this because she didn't remove everything - it was a Brazilian. The owner, an older Hispanic man, about 40-50 years old, was also rude. When I first walked in, it took him at least ten minutes to acknowledge my presence - he acknowledged me only after I said "excuse me". I should mention that this place is tiny, so it's not like he didn't see me walk in. I should have read the horrible reviews this place has gotten, at least I know it wasn't personal, they just have a culture of horrible customer service. Absolutely the worst place I have ever been for a manicure. The owner is rude and just there to make a dollar any way he can. I bought the double manicure Groupon and was turned away for the first one because I "didn't have a reservation" - which I made on their website since they never answer the phone. After returning a second time for the first manicure, the top coat yellowed terribly in just a couple days, so I called to ask if they could fix it, which they said they would do for free. I got there and they buffed off the top coat and put on a new one - which took less than five minutes. However, when I went back for the second of my two Groupons (which I wouldn't have returned for if I hadn't already paid for it), I was told that the repair counted as my second manicure and that I would be charged for that day's services. Only after arguing for several minutes and being completely embarrassed in front of everyone was I "allowed" to have the manicure free of charge by the arrogant owner. After starting the manicure with one nail tech, I had to switch to another one in the middle because a customer came in who wanted the nail tail who was doing my nails to fix her nails. Overall, a terrible experience BOTH times. I will never go back, and I recommend that everyone else who is considering going rethinks that decision. read more
