I booked a 1 bedroom suite over Valentines weekend. Since I was having lobster flown in, I wanted to make sure that our room had a full size stove for cooking. I contacted the hotel prior to our check-in and spoke to Alma. She was the sweetest and helped me out to ensure that I had the best possible experience. The room was beautiful and super clean! The best part about this place is that the rooms are set up like little apartments and doesn't feel like you're staying in a hotel. The following morning my husband and I walked over to pick up our complimentary breakfast. The gentleman at the front desk greeted us with a warm welcome as we walked into the lobby. Pop quiz.... It's 110 degrees at 7PM at night and the air conditioner broke - what do you do? Well, if you're me, you say fuck that noise Jack and you get a hotel room for the night. And that's exactly what we did. We picked it because it was close, dog friendly, and had the least horrific reviews on the nearby hotel/motels. All in all, it wasn't too bad. I wouldn't want to do what others have done and stay here for an extended period of time, but for one night it was serviceable. The place looks pretty nice inside, but when you go in for a closer inspection, you realize things aren't as nice as they initially appear. Lot's cracked and dirty corners. The furniture is also impractical and uncomfortable so that kind of sucked. But at the end of the day, the price was right, air conditioner was cold, and bed was decent so that's all I needed. I live close by, but for those not familiar with the area, it is located near a lot of good shops and restaurants. Should be consodered if you need a nicer motel in the area. read more

We were a bit wary when we were reading the reviews for this place but ultimately decided to go with it. It did not disappoint. The place is really nice. We went with a Kitchenette room. A lot of the furniture comes in smaller than usual sizes. Flat screen TVs are smaller than most peoples computer monitors these days. (19" or so). The table is cute (and tiny as well). We had a good chuckle over the table itself. Overall it's in a nice quiet location. There's a pool for kids. They serve a small AM breakfast. Of note, if you plan to lock your valuables in the small safe they have in the room, you will need to go to the front desk for the key. This place is just right. We enjoyed our stay. read more

On November 4, 2017 I made reservations to stay at Chase Suites in Brea, Ca. for November 24-26 (2 nights). When I made the reservations I advised Chase that I needed a bottom floor in an area as quiet as possible. (husband is handicapped) I made contact with Chase on Nov 9, 14, and 22, just to verify everything was good. I was told by "Anthony" that everything was good. I asked for early check in due to visiting family with a strict itinerary. I was told by "Anthony" that I would need to call on the morning of my reservation to remind them about early check in. On Nov 24, approximately 9am, I contacted Chase, via telephone, and spoke with "Anthony" again who stated to me that my room would be ready. Anyway, we arrived at approximately 1230pm. I went into the Chase Suite office and "Anthony" was behind the desk. He advised me that they DID NOT have a downstairs room available. I stated to him that I had made my reservations on November 4, giving them plenty of time to get this right. He told me thee is nothing he could do. Since I was on a strict timeline with family plans, I had no other choice than to take this upstairs room. I asked "Anthony" if (at least) he could honor my reservations and make sure I am in a room that is quiet. He advised me that it is very quiet. As I drove to back, where my room was located, I did notice that there were NO handicapped parking. The only one visible was in front of the office. So we parked in the middle of the parking lot and carry our bags to the upstairs room. Well, when we finally made it to the stairs, there was a small step, just before the staircase, that was not marked or colored, that my husband tripped over a fell. I helped him up and we proceeded to the top of the stairs. When we arrived at the top, there was a large paint bucket full of paint, a dirty pair of shoes, a mop and a bucket and several office chairs on the balcony. I also observed a few men inside the room, just next to my room, that were doing construction, hammering and pounding in the room with loud mariachi music playing on the radio. I continued on carrying my bags through this mess, barely making it to my room because all the chairs, etc... were blocking my way. We finally made it to the room. With reservations pending with family, my sister, who lived in the area, came over to pick us up. She carried her little doggie with her. She could not keep him in the car because it was 92 degrees outside. She knocked at the door, but NEVER stepped inside the room. We had a reservation with her, so we hurried and left the hotel. Upon returning that evening to the hotel approximately 11pm, we went upstairs and the mess was still there. Mop bucket, mop, dirty shoes, 2 big paint buckets and all those chairs. The chairs were even blocking my room and my window. I had to move one of them just to get inside my room. Once inside my room, I heard the hammering and music coming through the wall that was connected to the bed in my room. I was so upset. I tried to contact the hotel office and I only got a busy signal. I walked to the office and the door was locked. So I returned to my room and the hammering slowed down a bit. During the night, approximately 2am, I was awaken by a couple outside my room who was arguing and yelling at each other. This startled the heck out of both of us. I knew I could not get ahold of the office and the couple finally left. Next....at approximately 7:30am, I was awakened by a loud, booming sound as if someone fell down the stairs outside. I then looked out the window and observed a worker retrieving a large paint bucket which had fallen down the stair case. This really startled us, as I had asked in my reservations for a downstairs room in a quiet area. I was really upset. Due to family plans, we got ready and my sister had picked us up again, with her doggie in tow due to inclement weather. She knocked on the door and we left from there. Never did the dog come inside the room. Upon returning that evening about 11pm, the construction still going on and the chairs and mess still in the way of my hotel door. I Discovered when I returned home that Chase charged my credit card 500.00 extra for having a dog. I never had a dog. They never told me about the charge. I found this out from my credit card co. That final evening I did snap a few photos of the mess around the doorway and balcony of the hotel room because I was going to bring it up to the staff. It was very dangerous, with no warning signs around or under construction signs, someone could have really been hurt. It was a maze walking on the balcony, not to mention if there was a fire, how would I get out. The liability is endless. They should have never rented the room. This was a huge liability. Very dangerous situation. Never asked how my husband was after his fall. I want my money back. This is theft. Corporate will not return my calls read more

This is the place to stay if you want a free jar of marijuana. Upon checking in and unpacking my 9year old son found a big jar of marijuana. Apparently they don't clean their rooms very well or the staff uses this room as a hang out and forgot to take their stash with them. The worst customer service in the world. Such a scum bag hotel. That's why cops are always there and the fire department after finding a meth lab inside one if the units. Room comes with a kitchen ready for you to cook your crack and meth. The place seemed nice at first, but they charged us wrong all through the three days we were there. In fact, they had to cancel our first charge through Expedia then recharged it at a higher rate. Eventually, after we left, they charged us a deposit for damages. They had already charged us a deposit for our stay plus a pet deposit. And there were no pet damages. So if you go there with a pet beware! They will charge you a deposit for damages and a pet deposit up front. Then, after you leave they will charge you another deposit for pet damages your pet didn't even make. (Our cat is declawed!!) And they will keep all three charges. What a rip off for pet owners! This is NOT a pet friendly hotel. On top of all that, the first day we were there we put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. The maid let herself in without knocking or announcing housekeeping, ignoring the Do Not Disturb sign and my husband was standing there undressed!! Really bad place. If you have a complaint. They won't care. Or accommodate you. My roommate and I were temporarily put out of our house from damage from a water leak, we needed a clean hotel with a kitchen that accepts dogs. Searching endlessly, Chase Suite Hotel seemed like the nicest option for us, despite the high price and all the pet fees. The inside is gorgeous and not my gripe. The staff is unapologetic. I get that we are in a pet friendly hotel, but I shouldn't be hit in the face with the smell of cat spray as soon as I open the door. I had to go to work right after check in, so my roommate lit a candle and tried to fix the smell. Every time I would bend over to pick something up out of my suitcase the floor REAKS of cat urine. Oh check out when I told the gal at the front desk she just said "oh it smells like cats? Okay" that it. No apology or anything. Also on our first night, there was a large group gathering in the middle of the parking lot. Taking swigs of alcohol straight from the bottle, acting belligerent and being completely loud until well past midnight. When I called the front desk to ask why this was allowed and complain about the noise. Once again I got no apology and was told that they would be spoken to, but they are allowed to gather in the parking lot..... uhhhhm isn't drinking out of an open container in public illegal? I walked to my car at 2 am to grab a bag I forgot and they were still out there laughing. But yet they started closing the pool earlier due to noise complaints..... all in all this place is TOOO expensive for what it doesn't offer. The nicest thing about it is the inside, as long as your upstairs neighbors aren't stomping around. Wouldn't ever stay here again and I'm GLAD they didn't have room for us to stay longer. read more

The room we stayed was not very clean. Noticed some toothpaste stain on the bathroom faucet. There were no drawers in the bedroom and the beds are so tiny. The price we paid was $199 plus tax. This little place is so charming!! We were in the area for a wedding on Valentine's Day and needed a place for the night, but wanted something charming to make our Valentine's a little special. What a sweet place! The grounds are beautifully cared for and it just feels quaint and clean. The shower we needed after dancing all night was wonderful, with good water pressure and lots of hot water. The bed was so comfortable. The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast in the morning was great!! There were eggs (NOT powdered either), sausage links, pancakes, waffles, cereals, oatmeal, toast, bagels, fruit, coffee and teas, and pastries. The staff kept it stocked well and cleaned up. Check in was quick and thorough, and Isaiah was so helpful and wanted to get us into our room quickly since we were tired. Anthony was also great when we checked out in the morning. It feels safe and comfortable and welcoming. And the staff was fantastic and helpful and friendly! I don't know if we'll ever need to stay in Brea again, but if we do, this is our spot, and we would stay in a Chase Suite Hotel again for sure!! Thanks for the great experience!! read more

this review is pretty long and detailed- but i feel like it should be known how these people are treating people for no reason, its super unbuisnesslike no hospitality or care, just downright wrong! i never usually write reviews on yelp, unless i'm very satisfied or extremely disappointed. i have to say, i really altogether like chase hotels & suites & i've stayed here numerous times- esp when my house or a property of mine was getting worked on. it's a pretty comfortable hotel and very clean and quiet. this last time i stayed here i've been treated like crap, and i won't be coming here to book again. i think i've booked two other times in the past and this time i was here i stayed for a week total. i'm checking out today on day 5 because i completely refuse to stay any more days here. ive paid $144 the first two nights- for a mini suite which is supposed to be $109 online. i totally let it go because i figured i did check in late at the counter, i was just getting into town and i totally didn't have time to go online. i thought okay... i get a call that i'll be needing to stay a couple more days for work and then on top of that the yorba linda fires are going on. i went in the morning after about the first 3 days i stayed (also it's now a $250 dollar deposit) it used to be $200, or idk if i just felt like it was me- but anyways i go to check in to extend my stay and the gentlemen tells me that it's now up to $160 dollars for the smallest suite and that's before taxes- the price " just went up" no reason, i could understand if they were booked or something. not only that but there's more online specials saying i'd get the 2nd night half off if i booked two nights and i found another one that said if i book 3 nights- i'd get the third half off.i thought i could possibly use the online voucher- nope $160 and i have to be out by 11 on the day of checkout no late checkouts- wow- i didnt even ask about a late checkout! so i paid $160 for a $109 room rate with absolutely no discounts or explanation " that was my price". i also get breakfast every morning while i stay here so i did. on the third and fourth night my boyfriend was in town and he stayed with me before he had to return to work (he drives far) and when we went to go get breakfast it was the worst experience ever! i usually love their breakfast too, the lady came up to us and told us that my boyfriend couldn't eat because she had double checked my reservation and it said one person (im assuming from when i checked in- it was only me) so she made sure to walk over to the cook to tell her not to give him a plate specifically. also the next day since i was so upset i gave him my voucher to go get breakfast... and he took the voucher up at around 9am, and they immediately said breakfast was now over. there were people in front and behind him that got served!!! obviously for $160 a night and treating us this way seems a little personal or these people are just nit picky assholes with nothing better to do. its not like we are a disturbance, ive stayed here other times and he has came on one of the other times again but it was like this time for a few nights. we usually have no problems. like i said this is my third time but im never coming here agan. beware they will upsell you and i guess be super nit-picky for no reason. its my third and last time. it was just convenient for me with my work schedule but it seems to me like they either dont know how to treat people or just have a shitty attitude. idk what their problem is but its not okay to treat people the way we have been treated- i'll be reporting them to the better business bureau or something because this is inhuman and not ok no customer service or decency. i would give a negative star if i could!!!!!! read more

Checked in Thursday night and out Sunday morning. The rates are more than fair for what we received which was a King, half kitchenette. Living room area is a nice size with a couch, oversize chair and dining table that seats four. Kitchen area has a microwave, fridge, toaster oven, coffee pot and utensils are provided, even wine glasses. This room had a king size bed and my favorite part of the room was the bed! It was extremely comfortable for budget accommodations, I thought. The bedding, mattress and pillows made it hard to get up in the morning, like sleeping on a cloud. I wish I could say the same about the towels but they were a little on the rough side. Based on some of the other reviews I was concerned there would be a cleanliness issue but we did not have one our entire stay. I did think it was weird that the TV in the bedroom was the size of a nice size computer monitor while the TV in the living room was normal size. I switched these for my stay because the Monitor they had in the bedroom could barely be seen from the bed. I don't understand why both TVs weren't normal size. They also offer complimentary breakfast in the morning and a happy hour in the evenings. Happy Hour is only offerred Monday through Thursday and I wasn't drinking so did not take advantage of it. I believe it's two drink tickets per person. If the food options had been better I would have tried it but it was soup, which doesn't seem very Happy Hour like to me so I passed. Breakfast was much better. Egg, sausage or bacon, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, pastries, cereal, waffles and fruit options. My only complaint about the breakfast was the first day they had yogurt in single serve containers but the last two days they just set out a big tub of yogurt and that just didn't seem appealing to me. read more

I needed a hotel room this weekend since I am A DJ and will be performing in the area. Not booking ahead (stupid me) I tried getting a room a few different places but they were either all booked or jacked the rate up because its a holiday weekend. When I called I spoke to Luis (wonderful guy) he gave me their last room and the price was extremely fair! I got a suit and with my AAA discount the price was under $200. The room came with a kitchen, bedroom, living roman office section. Room was clean, updated look, very soft bed, heck I didn't want to get up today! This place is AMAZING! I now know there I am staying next time I am in the area!!!! read more

I have worked in the hospitality industry before and the staff at this hotel was not very hospitable We stayed here for a wedding and my husband was in the wedding party. The hotel has a strict "no party" policy which is understandable and fine BUT how is the wedding party getting dressed a "party?" And why would you threaten to call the cops simply because there are over 4 people in a room at NOON. Ummmm.... Theyre getting ready for a WEDDING which is giving you a ton of business? Dicks. Stayed here during my visit for my nephew's graduation from High School. Stay includes a two room suite, manager's evening drink social/welcome (never went), and breakfast. Pool & deck area - never used, but looked pretty small Breakfast - Good selection (scrambled ham and eggs, pancakes, oatmeal, cereal, various fruits and breads). Rates: Varies on the month/day of visit. Our June visit, Wed-Saturday $109 / $109 / $89 The suite décor is pretty new, but you can tell by the slight peeling of portions of the wall paper and the rusty vents the facility is old. Suite Amenities include; two flat screen televisions (small size - 30 inch), small refrigerator, microwave, two cup coffee pot (really tiny - good thing I don't drink coffee), plates & utensils, and King Bed - Superb! Love a firm bed that is semi-plush. Our room came with an indoor rain forest. The rhythmic sounds of drops of water pouncing on the carpet made for a hypnotic sleep. This was caused from condensation from the AC unit leaking through the drywall next to the vent over the bathroom vanity sink (probably the clogged drain on the collection pan). Don't know how I didn't slit my throat each morning as I shaved when the ice cold water dripped on my back startling me. I also basically walked the rest of the day with wet sponges on my feet as each and every morning I forgot about the wet carpet and step on it with just my socks on. Go figure. Another downside is one day we didn't housekeeping services. Every morning when we left at 8 am I left the magnetic "Service Room" sign on the exterior door. Came back at 3:45 pm and replaced the magnetic sign with the "Please Do Not Disturb" sign as we wished to enjoy a late lunch we brought to the room. Roughly 30 minutes later we took the sign off the door. At 5 pm we called the housekeeping who told us that because the "Please Do Not Disturb" sign was out the moment our room was to be cleaned, our window of opportunity had passed but we could have fresh towels. Find it strange that the "Service Room" sign was out for almost 8 hours and "Please Do Not Disturb" out for 30 minutes means the same thing....nothing will get done. Expect what you see in the pictures. After reading all the reviews i was not surprised by what i saw when i checked in the hotel. The room i stayed had a full kitchen. We stayed on the first floor, which has the heating and AC outside of our bedroom window. So at night it was pretty annoying because it would turn on every 15 min. We finally decided to turn off the AC so we could get a good nights rest. They provided free breakfast every morning, to my surprise the breakfast was actually pretty good. They had a waffle maker so you can make fresh waffles, scramble eggs, sausage, biscuit and gravy, bagels, toast and cereal. They also provide free tea and tea in the lobby. Overall: Friendly service, decent size room, don't expect to much from this places. read more

Nice place with full kitchen - perfect if you need a place for a major baking/cooking project! Quick check in and quiet rooms. Great for the price. However, the room had a VERY strong scent of ammonia or cleaning agents. It wasn't pleasant and I did not like housekeeping being aggressive at the door in the morning. After a couple of no's and no, thank you, I finally had to yell, "GO AWAY". The guy then said, "Ok". An elderly housekeeper was taking her break under our window which was opened and she was smoking. So that wasn't cool either. We were in room 127. After touring most of the buildings, we finally found it. It was on the second floor! lol - weird. read more

We got the 2-double guest room with full kitchen and I was in awe after walking into the guest room. It was so cute, especially the kitchen area (which was fully stocked with utensils, plates, cups, and more I can't remember, aside from the fridge, stove, dishwasher, and oven). I loved the counter, which is where I did some work on my computer. There was a cute fireplace and the beds were super comfortable. I would just warn to adjust the temperature settings, because for some reason the air got really dry and it made me uncomfortable. Overall, everything was very clean and tidy! Didn't get to use the pool but I could see that it was heated and wish that I did! (closes at 10 I believe) I had a great stay! read more

Ok but bordering on over priced "suites" and I use that word in the strictest technical sense. Rooms that are straight out of motel 6 circa 1990, woefully inadequate parking lot. Marginally clean room with broken down furniture. Front desk staff that seems well intentioned but inept. Front desk closes down totally at 11 pm and doesn't open again until 6 am, who does that? Even a motel 6 has a front desk person available 24 hours a day and frankly this is the first time in any hotel I've stayed in across the U.S. that I've seen a front desk be totally unavailable. Extremely limited television stations and cheap Kmart looking televisions. The staff also cheerfully admits they have no ice machines and no vending machines so be prepared to make a trip to 7-11 if you need anything. All in all I'd not pay more than 60 bucks per night for this or any place like this. If you're in a pinch a need a place then it's ok for a night or maybe two. However don't expect anything over and above your average road side motel. Two stars here is generous and is based solely on the deal I got on this room via hotels.com. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else though unless you get a great deal. read more

I'm currently on day six of my stay here. My house caught on fire, so while the house is being renovated, myself and the three other long time close friends of mine that occupy the house are temporarily displaced until we can move back into our home. After we checked into the Chase Suites Hotel, we were very much delighted with the accommodations. The bedrooms & bathrooms are small, but they're comfy despite, and the full kitchen (dishwasher, full induction stove top AND oven...Awesome!) make up for it for sure. At first we booked only four days, but we were satisfied with the accommodations and by the second day we decided to book another 5 days once our first reservation was finished. At this point, the only complaints I had was that the TV would lag at times and we'd loose the picture for about ten - twenty seconds at a time (At times it would happen every 2 - 3 minutes...Then it would stop for a while.) I'm not much of a TV person, I could overlook that little issue. Day three, my other co-habitants told me about how that morning, they went down to go to the breakfast, one of the hotel employees (they described that she was appeared to be one of the maids maybe), asked them what their room number was, which they couldn't exactly recall (they had just woken up, after all) and then asked them to present a 'breakfast voucher' which none of my friends had even heard of. The maid(?) then hurried off, and a minute or two later, came back with the employee who was working the front desk at the time (he wore a tag that said 'Whittier, CA'... I don't have his name). Mr. Whittier asked my friends what their room number was, and when they said they didn't remember, he instead asked what name the room was under. They told him the name of the guest who's name our room was under, to which Mr. Whittier stated in a snide tone, "The room is only booked for two people" which isn't true, the room is booked for 4 people, it even says so on the 'Voucher' I had in my wallet. He then asked, "Is one of you Mr. ******?" They replied 'No', then he said he was going to call Mr. *******, and after standing there for a few awkward moments rudely staring at my roommates as if waiting for them to be alarmed by his 'threat' to call our friend and leave, and when they just sat there feeling visibly uncomfortable and embarrassed, the employees walked away from them and instead stood and stared from the outskirts of the breakfast sitting area for a good part of the time that they were (trying) to eat breakfast. No one else got asked for proof of their stay. That was the first issue to pop up. They second occurred on the last day of the first reservation. We planned on staying another five days, we went online and booked five more nights, since we hadn't formally checked out yet.. Easy, right? Wrong. Our friend who booked the room went to the office to sign the paperwork, the employee at the front desk stated that we had been checked out, and needed his ID and Credit Card to redo the check-in / scan ID process. My friend had lost his wallet the day before, asking if they could just apply the first deposit to the new one. The front desk employee said that wasn't possible. My friend offered cash, the employee said they wouldn't accept it. They went back and forth like this, my friend trying to come up with possible solutions, and the man at the desk unwilling to work with him, not any help in how to remedy this situation. The only resolution he offered was to lock us out of our room until we could get an ID & a card (same name) to put the whole payment & deposit that we could physically present to them. So we left to go do what we had to do to provide them with what they wanted, which took us about five hours. We didnt get into our room until right at sunset. Lastly, today, the maid came right as I was waking up. My boyfriend asked her to service the kitchen and living room while I got dressed and could step out to let her change the bedding since it hadn't been changed since we got there. The maid cleaned the kitchen, but then took off after doing only that. When I noticed this, I called the front desk. When I explained the situation, the man on the other end told me he would call the maid and ask her why she didn't clean my room. (Which wasn't what I wanted to hear, I wanted to hear "I'm sorry Ma'am, I'll have the maid come up and finish servicing your room right away". I don't care WHY she didn't, I just want it fixed.) He called back a few minutes later, saying that the man who answered the door told her to clean only the kitchen. I replied that no, that's not what he said because I was standing right next to him. The employee simply repeated his last statement about the man telling her to only clean the kitchen, and offered no resolution to the problem, only making excuses. I became frustrated and hung up. We have three more days left. I'm hoping they are enjoyable enough to change this rating to a better one! read more

The cook for the complimentary breakfast needs to learn how to thoroughly cook food be and meet girlfriend have been getting food poisoning symptoms for the last three days if our stay. The scrambled eggs are runny and the sausages are cooked in inconsistently with some being black and charred while others are pink and cool on the inside. read more

Great little diamond in the rough! Beds were nice and comfy, the showers were very relaxing. Wifi is included in every room (although it is kind of slow). There were two awesome T.V's in the room and the suite pretty much had everything a suite should have. Definitely will stay here again if I'm in the Brea area. read more

I utilized trip planner to plan a mini vacation to meetup with some Facebook friends in the neighboring state of California. I narrowed my choices to: 1) 3 star hotel, 2) hotel room must have a kitchen, 3) must be close to the highway, 4) provide free parking, 5) provide free breakfast, 6) free (basic) cable and 7) if they could have a pool? Lo and behold, Chase Suite Hotel popped up! Initially when I tried to reserve a room here, I was told that they were booked solid. However, upon going through AARP, I was pleasantly surprised to discovered that the hotel reserves rooms for AARP members. As an AARP member, I was able to immediately reserve my room. It was a little tricky arriving at the Hotel. My GPS was off, but fortunately I'd printed a map from Google Maps and between the two of them, managed to find the hotel. I love that free parking was indeed available, check in time went smoothly, and the keyless entry room was great. The kitchen provided everything I needed, i.e. coffee pot, microwave, can opener, pots/pans and dishes, to prepare the groceries that I'd brought with. The living room couch let out into a sofa bed, and also contained a medium sized flat screen tv. The bedroom high top mattresses (I've gotta buy me one of those), and a small vanity room just outside the bedroom. The bathroom was handicap accessible. Our closet contained a safe, along with ironing board/iron and numerous hangers. Later that evening, my friend and I enjoyed a dip in the pool. Breakfast varied from day to day: coffee, fruit juice, eggs, pancakes, sausage or bacon and fresh fruit. Located a few blocks from the Hotel were numerous shopping centers. It was also conveniently located near the Highway. All in all, I was very pleased with the Chase Suite Hotel. The only con I had was that internet speed was super slow. But then, I was on vacation. read more

We have stayed at this hotel for 2 summers now and we love it here. The staff is wonderful and friendly. We've always gotten a one-bedroom so the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. It's equipped with a full kitchen, which came in handy when we got back to the room late at night. They serve a full breakfast (eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles, bagels, cereal, fruits, juices, coffee, etc) so this saves a ton of money on food. They offer free WiFi. Parking here is also free. Every Friday they have different food trucks come into the parking lot. All in all this place is a nice place to stay with family. The rooms and grounds are always clean and the stay are always friendly. We love it here. It's location is also central to most attractions (Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Universal Studios) read more

We booked this hotel which was recommended for a wedding we were in town for. A block of rooms was reserved for wedding guests. We loved everything about the Queen Suite; the kitchen, living room and 2 bedrooms. Didn't sleep well the first night. A lot of outside noise as our room faced the street. The landscape was cluttered with leaves and foliage all around the air conditioner unit which ran on and off all night. We went to the beach the entire next day until it was time to get ready for the wedding. At 3 in the afternoon our room still had not been cleaned and we had to get ready. Maids came because I called the front desk but I had to turn them away because we had 6 people getting ready for a 5:00 wedding. When my daughter came running and screaming to my door there was a giant lizard in her bathroom as she stepped out of the shower. She was traumatized! My husband and son in law had to grab it with a towel and throw it out. I marched up to the front office to complain. I demanded being compensated some how for the inconvenience and traumatizing experience. They offered to move us to another room which we acccepted. This room was on the second floor and more centrally located within the hotel suite was clean, the carpet didn't feel grimy and we had a super nights sleep. The breakfast each morning was a nice treat and added feature. I would not recommend a room near the street unless they significantly clean up that area. I don't think those rooms get used much. read more

This place is really great, had a roommate get exposed to someone with covid so opted to stay in a hotel for a week awaiting there test results. We really needed somewhere with a kitchen but didn't want to stay at a super low budget hotel. Went looking online and this place fit the bill! The staff was great, the full breakfast every morning was awesome and our tool was very clean. The only major thing was one of the apparent long term residents would come out in the evening, about every 2 hours and smoke and the smell would make its way through what seemed to be the entire property. We couldn't leave our windows open or it would be smelled in our room. Just wish they were a bit more strict on smoking on the premises, having asthma I decided not to extend another week stay elsewhere. read more

Stayed here for one mid-week night when my husband had to be in Brea for work. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, from front desk, to the bar girl working the evening reception, to some higher management guy who remembered my husband's name and asked how the room was when we saw him a few hours after checking in. The suite was spacious and well appointed, though with a few signs of peeling paint in the corners. 2 flat screen TVs, inviting couch, full kitchen, wifi and very comfy bed. read more

I would have liked to have given Chase Suite Hotel a better rating because the location and the staff were both excellent. The big problem was that there seemed to be no soundproofing between rooms. We heard people's conversations in the room next to ours, and the noise from pipes from the shower in an adjacent room was much too loud in our room. read more

The rooms are cozy. Suites are adequately spacious and the bed is outstanding. The kitchen appliances do need to be updated soon as they are too old. The pool is fine. Have never seen bugs in it as reported by the other reviewer. Have stayed at this hotel at least 12 times in the past two years. Comp breakfast is very good as is the social hour. Management is fast at responding to any issues you might have. Brea is a pretty nice area so you do feel very safe during your stay. read more

I bought my room at a discounted price on Orbitz. First off, let the front desk know if you are arriving/checking in late (after 12:00 AM). If not, you will be charged and it will take a longer process to get your room. I wish I knew this before since we had to wait 20 min or so before we can get our room. The front desk as considerate and did his best to make it work for us. I guess they did their nightly audit, and marked us as a no show since we arrived at 02:30 AM. There was little to no parking on the property. We had to park in the lot next to the property. It's not super far, though. The room initially felt clean. We had a kitchen; every thing seemed it was clean, except for the bathroom. The only problem I really had was the shower. The shower head had so much build up that the water didn't flow through it with ease. The shower had black build up between the tiles and the drain wouldn't drain properly. It might be just the room we had, but bathrooms are my pet peeve when it comes to anything. Check out was is 11 AM. read more

Even though we didn't stay long (only one night) our stay was nothing short of amazing. We checked in later in the evening and got a courtesy call to make sure everything was ok with the room. The room was spectacular- definitely more roomy than we were expecting. We used the hot tub which was nice and enjoyed relaxing on the couch too. Breakfast was one of the more delicious breakfast spreads I have had at a hotel and checkout was quick and painless overall a great place to stay. I would definitely stay here again. read more

I would recommend the Chase Suite Hotel for longer stays. The suites are very big and convenient. Also very clean and lovely bedroom. However Bar/Hotel commodities stay very poor.... Bar not very welcoming and not very convenient to walk to the front lobbie. Breakfast didn't give large choice, basic and not the best. Unfortunately no interior swimming pool nor fitness room/center. read more
