We've been coming more often for their snacks. The fried tofu fries are a household favorite for us. I love that they have quite a few food options, but wish they had even more. The drinks are also decently good. This latest time we ordered the yogurt green tea with boba (75% sweet) and the strawberry banana smoothie (75% sweet). Both were on point. The service is consistently good and I like the decor here. One thing to work on is the amount of time it takes to make the food. Today I think it took over 25 minutes? Maybe more. We went to go buy food on the other side of the plaza (walking really slowly because we had 2 toddlers), made a stop to buy girl scout cookies, came back, and the food still wasn't ready. Totally found a nearby place for me to quickly go to when I need my boba cravings satisfied. The inside has cute decor (but indoor dining is closed right now). The cashier Rebecca was super friendly and nice! So I hope everyone who works there is as friendly as the reviews say. I think their prices are reasonable for the sizes: regular is 20oz and large is 24oz. What I got. 1. Honeydew Black Milk Tea (refreshing. I'll start with the good... this place was immaculately decorated for the holidays and felt super warm and homey. They had outlets and free Wi-Fi! The staff was friendly and helpful. This is why they get 3 stars versus 2...  Now the bad... my girlfriend and I both ordered taro milk teas (hot) with no sugar. Now, we have tried taro milk teas without sugar from 2-3 other tea shops and none have tasted so poor. There was a burnt flavoring and such a bitter taste that we both barely drank anything. Then even worse was my girlfriend's popcorn chicken. That box of chicken smelled so gross it was repulsive. When we stopped by we got a couple of different drinks. Two regular milk teas with boba, a chocolate smoothie, and a pineapple coconut one (I think). Love this new boba spot in Eastvale! We tried the rice balls. My favorite was the spam and eggs! Teriyaki chicken was decent. We also ordered the popcorn chicken with rice. The popcorn chicken was very good! Good portion size of meat. It also came with a type of braised pork on top of the rice. Delicious! And for drinks, we had apple green tea with peach (similar to Love Potion at Ten Ren. But I can honestly say this was better! ) Also tried the honeydew black milk tea. It was different than others I've had. Definitely tasted more natural. The baristas made sure to mention to let them know if we wanted any adjustments to our drinks. If they mess up your drink or you don't like it, it's very hard for them to remake it, it's not customer service oriented. Although I don't like the drink she recommended , she said it has chunks of fruit which it didn't tasted like Torani syrup blended with ice and boba. The taste was very flavorful and it just melts in my mouth! I was drooling down to the very last bite! Yummy yummy yummy! The shrimp tempura udon was delicious! The udon was cooked to the right amount were it isn't soggy- I hate soggy noodles. They did an awesome job cooking my noodles. The soup was very delicious but I was too full to drink it all. I ordered the oolong milk tea with 25% sweetness and 25% ice and a non-spicy popcorn chicken. The food was prepared in a quick manner and delivered to me within 30 minutes. At 25% sweetness, the milk tea was not too sweet at all. The popcorn chicken was mildly salted, and I thought it could use a bit more flavor. I will consider getting the spicy popcorn chicken next time. I like how Chat Tea offers different options for the sweetness and ice levels. 25% ice actually means less ice here! Great place for boba and Taiwanese snacks. Their base teas are really good and have strong flavors. They do use syrups, so I would just recommend the honey milk teas.
