I would absolutely recommend staying here, cozy and quaint within walking distance to the village, our room was called Love Letter and had a gorgeous view of the lake, total of 9 rooms with ample parking gives you a feeling of staying at home rather than a hotel or Inn. Gail the manager, who has been there for only three months, was very nice and friendly and accepted us like family, they have their lobby filled with all sorts of snacks, coffee, tea, assorted fruits, fresh and delicious apples from the trees, chips, cereal and more, all open to the guests 24/7, she had even made homemade acorns with chocolate kiss on top, were delicious, all in all a great getaway, for sure a gem to be discovered.

The whole experience was great. Booking was super easy, pricing for the area was quite reasonable and then the actual space was super cute and fun. We stayed in the "Love Letter" room which had a fantastic view of the lake. The style was, as noted by previous reviewers, Victorian and beautifully done. We were greeted by Chris and given a tour of the spaces available to us which included a kitchenette stocked with snacks and goodies (midnight cereal, YES!), a wide selection of DVDs and board games. The room had a little fireplace, lounge room, large bathroom (no bathtub) and a super cozy bed. The ONLY thing that was less than perfect as that the blanket was a tiny stuffy smelling. We very much enjoyed this B&B. Be sure to check out the Belgian Waffle and the Village just across the way.

We had an amazing and unforgettable wedding at the Christmas House on June 7, 2025. I have dreamed…read moreabout getting married here for over 10 years after my favorite high school English teacher told me she got married here. Dreams really do come true, and I had the vintage wedding of my dreams! Carrie, Sam, Jillian, and everyone at Christmas House are now like family to us. All of our guests absolutely loved our wedding and the house, and said what a unique and cool venue it is. A lot of them said it was the best wedding they have ever been to and are still talking about it a year later. I wanted something completely different and personal compared to a country club, golf club, or hotel since I have been to so many weddings. Since we were planning from out of state, we also liked that so many things were included such as cake, DJ, etc. I loved that we had the whole place to ourselves for the whole wedding weekend and got to do the pizza party and overnight stay, as well as breakfast which was some of my favorite food of the weekend! I particularly recommend the quiche! We had some of our bridal party stay with us and they loved it. It was nice to spend some personal time with them before we jetted off to our honeymoon. Also military wives and brides: they have a military discount! I also loved that the Christmas House team worked well with our wedding planner Nicole at Olivar events. Our photos and videos also came out so wonderfully. Orlando the photographer and videographer (sorry forgot his name) made me feel like a queen and really helped with their calm vibes since I was anxious before the ceremony. I even asked for more footage now a year later and they obliged. They are awesome! I had a lot of stress leading up to the wedding including my original dress being ruined one month before and family drama. The whole team were literal angels in helping me navigate all of this and I'm actually really glad I wore my second dress because it was a warm June wedding and my second dress was much lighter and went better with our vintage theme! I believe everything works out for a reason in according to God's plan. I have never felt so happy and so loved as on my wedding day by my husband, family and friends, and our friends at the Christmas House. I would truly give the Christmas House 4.8 stars and only change two things about the wedding: I will say the food was delicious, and our cake that was included from Cucamonga Cakery was pretty and delicious. However, the only negative feedback we had from guests was that the plates of food were a little small. This may be a Spaggi's (their exclusive caterer for our sit down package) issue, and I would recommend it be closer to the tasting size. For myself, I would have slowed down getting ready and taken some more amazing photos around the bridal suite, the house's stained glass windows, and stairs, and I may still go back and do it as Carrie suggested! However, I am giving myself some grace as the wedding morning was very busy. Thank you, Christmas House for making me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt, and for celebrating our love with us on our very special day. It was a dream come true, and we will be back to visit soon! Love, Ty and Dorothy

The kids loved the coloring station, kissing booth, and of course meeting Santa, while the carolers singing Christmas music made the entire estate feel magical. The…read morevenue is absolutely gorgeous, and from the beginning, the planning process was smooth and enjoyable. Communication with Kellan was excellent throughout the process, and John and Terri were also wonderful to work with--always kind, attentive, and helpful. We also loved the venue's recommended vendors, who all helped make our day so special. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because the end of the evening felt much more stressful than expected. After celebrating all day, we had to help pack, load, and remove all of our personal décor that same night. We had understood the décor would be packed and ready for us to load, but instead several of our family members and guests ended up helping pack everything before we could leave. Unfortunately, some of our personal décor items were also damaged during the packing process, which was disappointing since many of them were sentimental. One suggestion I have for future weddings would be to allow couples to pick up their packed décor early the following morning. On the morning of our wedding, there was already a venue tour and another couple's rehearsal taking place, and the staff handled both so seamlessly that we barely noticed. Since the venue is already in use the next morning, offering a short pickup window for the previous night's couple could make the end of the wedding day much less stressful without disrupting operations. Overall, none of this takes away from how beautiful our wedding day was or how much we appreciated the Miller's Landing team. We are incredibly thankful for everything they did to help make our day so memorable and would absolutely recommend the venue to couples looking for a stunning place to get married.

Family owned--Kellan, Terri, and everyone in the staff were so unbelievably transparent, friendly, helpful, and amazing to work with. The communication is on point and everything was seamless since their packages include basically everything! Even the small amount of things not included in package pricing, they gave recommendations that were great! The property is so beautiful and so well maintained even when we toured it when it was raining and sleet coming down! The ceremony site is a dream, which flows right into the cocktail area, and then reception/dinner in the beautiful, rustic barn and everything flows perfectly. It's small enough to where people don't wander off and disappear or get too separated, but big enough to provide spaces and pockets for people to hang out in. Fox in the Woods Catering was absolutely delicious and the venue tasting was great--we had such a hard time deciding what to choose because it was all so good. The bridal suite did get a little warm on our 80 degree wedding day, but they have portable air conditioners that helped. We loved the table and mirrors so my bridesmaids not getting hair and makeup done could do their own there. The groom suite is a great spot for the guys and every space is so well put together and comfortable. Our day of coordinator included with the venue, Ashly, was amazing in creating our day of timeline, setting up decor and making sure our vision came to life. Family owned and operated was the way to go. We felt so special and didn't have a single thing to worry about and we had the most perfect wedding day. We are on cloud nine and highly recommend anyone wanting a seamless wedding and less stress of planning, please book here. You will not regret it!
