I was discriminated against, which I won't get into details until it is handled. In addition, the complex started becoming infested with bugs and roaches months after she got here. Before, I would only see crickets, a few spiders and 1 or 2 other bugs here and there but I started seeing A LOT of bugs and roaches around the complex at night to where I became scared to walk the complex at night as I have a fear of insects and I'm OCD. The past couple months, I started seeing bugs around my sink and tiny baby roaches which looked like the bugs were breeding and was quite unlivable for me. I couldn't sleep and was scared to cook because of it. The only thing they did was send a pest guy to spray the place and I'm not sure what he did but it made it worst as flying roaches and bugs came in my apartment and went in my closet. I was PETRIFIED. Even one of my friends visited for a weekend in June and spotted a flying critter, we were both so scared and paranoid as we didn't know what it was. I finally found it in my bathroom sink (Photo attached). I had to spray them with bleach because I can't touch bugs due to my fears. I thought maybe it came from the new neighbor but I don't think they would be transporting flying roaches which means the complex has an infestation that's not being handled. Considering I had a busy schedule between school, work and hobbies, I had always communicated with the prior manager via email or by going to the office in my spare time during office hours with no problem but Ashley is almost never in the office. Apparently she also doesn't know how to communicate effectively via email. She came in and lacked the personable skills to even introduce herself, she didn't inform us of any new policy changes she had that were different than the prior manager. She doesn't even say my name right nor does she care to ask or learn as I've corrected her before when I first met her. She's a terrible community manager overall, they should've just given the job to Yoselin. I rarely ever make any type of reviews unless I'm giving 5 stars but these apartment complex/companies need to learn to hire better human beings in service positions especially in LA housing where we pay so much for you to mess with our livelihood.

Yoselin and Ashley are also super friendly and on top of everything. They're super fast to respond too. Easy living so far! I don't see myself leaving anytime soon :)

I was disrespected by her on so many levels. I leased an apartment without seeing it and tried to see it that same week, she told me I couldn't because it wasn't ready, so I asked if I could see the community , she was against that as well. She didn't mean any of the timelines that she gave me in regards to my lease agreement and scheduled appointments to see the property - and she failed to communicate the changes, l had to reach out to find out about anything that may have changed. So I asked her if we could have more open communication (in the nicest way possible) -- she got really upset with me for saying that and told me I should "withdraw my application" if I had so many questions and concerns.. she then told me she was going to hang up on me ?! After that I was going to report her to her higher up - but as I said before she has all these great reviews, so I have her the benefit of the doubt and assumed for the sake of good energy going into my lease that maybe she was having a bad day. I then reached out via email to tell her how I felt, she never responded until the next day saying it no longer appeared I qualified... and then she ghosted me - literally after that she ignored me for OVER a week. I called, I emailed, i have 8 unanswered emails. I called from different numbers. She'll use the excuse she was out of office but I gave her well enough time to get in contact with me. She THEN FINALLY wrote me back and told me that I need to give her $3,596 THAT DAY or my lease would be withdrawn! She said it was company policy that a week after an apartment is leased they need all the fees paid! But it had been over a week since she told me it didn't look like I qualified! I asked if I could give her $1200 and I could pay her the rest next week when I get paid and technically since I'm JUST finding out I'm approved and she JUST charged me the holding fee that day. My week had just begun TODAY. and she told me no, if she does that for me she's have to do it for everyone (like my case isn't different?!) I simply withdrew my application, who wants to live under a general manager like that. In all honestly I believe she did this all to me on purpose to try to get me to withdraw my application. She's spiteful and a terrible communicator, I have never been my life been treated that way by management.
