Wanted to try the chole bhature here and decided to get for early lunch. The person making this was so nice and smiled all the time! We sat outside the truck they have some seating arrangement, quite cozy! Comes with a bowl of chole/chana, a little salad, pickle and raita and two big bhatures. The chole are not overly spicy and they dont burn out throat which I appreciate and like, they are appropriately spiced unlike other well known chat places in Sunnyvale. The bhature were crispy and were a little oily but thats expected. Cant wait to eat this again!

I ordered the 'Ghar ki Thali'--super tasty, very affordable at just $9.99, and highly hygienic. The owner, Rajan was very friendly.

The Khadi kachori was fantastic! I got it spicy and it was! I also really enjoyed the Gobi paratha. Looking forward to trying mooli (radish) next time! The owner and chef Rajan was very kind and gave us a sample of his veg kabobs and chai to sample. The Khadi kachori is a must have. Will be back to try more! Parkijg is easily available next to the food truck and the tables are very clean!

Had a wonderful meal at Chatpata. It's a food truck with seating right across the street from Fremont High School. We ordered the aloo tikki chaat, kadi kachori, and the chana bhatura. Every dish was executed flawlessly, make sure to order them spicy for that extra flavor. We chatted with some nice ladies who recommended that we get the pani puri next time with extra hot sauce. Can't wait to try this again.

I recently saw on social media outlets that there is a food truck selling kadhi kachori and I came here to try the same. We ordered Pani Puri, tea and kadhi kachori. The pani Puri was good with delicious water flavor of mint and spices. You can also get a refill if you want. I didn't like the tea too much since it had flavor of carom seeds and it made the tea slightly bitter but definitely good for digestion. The kadhi Kachori was ok not great.

I stopped by here with a friend. Upon reviewing past Yelp reviews and their marketing banners around the spot, I believed Kadhi Kachori is among their most popular items so we decided to order one and share. This was our first time at this place so we're a bit skeptic about the taste, so decided to start with just one. It's a unique combination. Punjabi kadhi with kachori, I've never had this before. But true to their marketing it was just fabulous. The kachori was amazingly crunchy even when dipped in kadhi. And kadhi by itself had amazing taste. But I do have a feedback. I believed it was quite expensive considering it a small snack/chaat. It stands at a big $12 ticket. Now by itself you may not think of it as much but with taxes and tips added to around $14.5 it actually affects your pocket for a light snack. Alternatively, if you aren't still able to image it as expensive, consider that kachori and samosa are almost equivalent in efforts. And you can easily get a samosa however superior the quality under $3-4, and the bowl is so small that it may not have more than 1-1.5 laddles of kadhi. So for that reason I thought it's priced quite high, I'd rather enjoy a good paneer tikka or soya chaap at some other food trucks or in an actual seat down restaurant.

Came after reading the amazing reviews today for the first time. Really tasty and amazing food truck inside a gas station area. Do not confuse them for the momo food truck nearby, they are towards the end. Once you enter, you order and pay on a big tablet and wait for your name to be called. There are3-4 small tables next to the truck, though the street side way of eating it is on your car trunk hood or sitting side the car. My review of the food: - Kadhi kachori: this was a unique dish to this place and was simply outstanding. Never tried this before - Aloo onion paratha: simply the best paratha I have eaten in my life. Came with a dollop of butter on top the way I hand tried in Dhabas in Punjab. - Chole bhature: was nice, the kids liked it. Also came with salad, pickle , raita and onions - Pav Bhaji: while not bad, this is not their specialty and I would give it a miss. There are better places for it Finally drank a mango lassi to finish off.excellent food truck specializing in chaat, polite service and I would come here regularly to try new items

We tried the Khadi Kachori dish here upon a friend's recommendation and it was great. The food was served hot and tasted fresh. The only downside is that the pricing is a little expensive for a food truck.

Must try. This is a good truck in Sunnyvale. Out of this world and truly Chatpata. Try their new Shahi Shikanji and you'll get hooked. The Shahi Shianji has almonds, pistachio, and Saffron. I tried the Chana Bhatura. The Chana was delicious. The Kiosk made the ordering very easy. Rajan, the owner is very gracious. He offers free tea and goes beyond to please his customers. Sushma took extra care to make sure we were very well taken care off. Kudos.

The kadhi kachori is out of the world! I highly recommend coming here to try this dish if not for anything else. I was trying to figure out all the textural and flavor nuances of the dish to write about it but just gave up after a point and resigned myself to enjoying it. We also got the aloo paratha and chole bature, though they were great as well the kadhi kachori just stole the limelight. Will recommend this place to all my friends!

We keep coming back because their paratha was irresistible! We tried aloo, gobi and paneer paratha, all of them are really delicious! My favorite is aloo paratha as it's a bit more flavorful. Aside from the food, they have been making improvement on their truck front! From the ordering tablet to tables and lights, all the details are showing me the owner's effort to provide a great experience to customers. We are very touched by these details :)

They have interesting dishes with paneer and chicken as well. We ordered two dishes- Leela lasun keema - This dish was intriguing, with cheese, grated egg, and a rich, spicy gravy. The portion size was generous; a single person won't be able to finish it with just three breads. It was very filling, we took back home the leftover and enjoyed it later with some rotis. They have another version of this- "kachu" with runny eggs instead of grated eggs.. well thought option! Volcano egg biryani- The dish is as interesting as its name suggests. The base is an omelette, and the rice is flavorful with bell peppers, finely chopped veggies, and aromatic spices. The center is with a tomato-based curry. The cheese on the side was amazing, and I loved it. The spicy guava drink is super refreshing with a playful mix of spice, salt, sourness, and the sweetness of guava. I really enjoyed it! They have music playing and the place is lit, creating a total vibe for spending time in the evening on a lazy weekend/ after work, or post-workout. Delicious burrito that was a nice size and excellent price point. The tortilla tasted so nicely toasted and had a crisp at the edges. Along with your choice of meat, the burrito has Spanish rice, avocado, onions, salsa, beans. What else do you need? The length was almost my entire forearm, might have been actually. I was also given two sauces: a cilantro green sauce and (chipotle maybe) a red sauce. I did not receive the orange sauce mentioned in other reviews. Remember to request what you'd like. The second time I went, they gave me red sauce and orange sauce. Minus 1 star because of slightly inconsistent quality. When I went the second time, the fillings were still great, but ratio was different than the first time. It made the burrito taste different, no crispiness. Still good, but seemed more like a mid burrito I wouldn't have been raving about. BUT I did go right before closing compared to right after opening, which I can understand could make a difference.

The chinese bhel was okay, but didn't have much flavor. Lastly the ragda pattice had so much potential. The flavor was there, but it was insanely spicy- even as someone with a med/high spice tolerance. You could feel the burn traveling down to your stomach. Yesterday, I ordered a Vada Pav, Shalimar Egg Mughlai (on their recommendation from their list of egg dishes), and a Veg Frankie -- and honestly, none of it lived up to the hype(5 stars currently) or price point. Vada Pav: It was okay. The "mirchi" served alongside was literally a raw Thai green chili. Really? At least pan-fry it with some salt and oil to enhance the flavor. For over $10 with taxes, this was already pricier than better Vada Pavs you can get at places like Elco Drive, and yet it offered nothing exceptional. Frankie: This one made me genuinely angry. It was a soggy maida roll stuffed with the same aloo masala from the Vada Pav, plus a few sad shreds of cabbage. That's it. And they had the audacity to charge $12 for it. ($1.50 for cheese, lol I am glad we didn't add)This isn't a Frankie -- it's a lazy repackaged Vada Pav with no flavor or creativity. They threw in some pickled jalapeños on the side, which only added confusion. If you're running a fusion menu(well partially), at least mention it upfront instead of misleading customers. Egg Shalimar Mughlai: At $13, it was passable but still not impressive. The bun on the side was not toasted or anything. Better than the Frankie, but nothing I'd recommend or return for. I was so excited for trying this place but, overall, this place is overpriced, underwhelming, and frankly disappointing. If your Vada Pav and Frankie are practically identical, maybe inform customers before they order both. I wouldn't recommend Maya Kitchen -- save your time, appetite and money and go somewhere else. Final Thoughts: 4.50/5…read more Truly the cutest little matcha truck. It's a tiny little green one that sits in front of the Saratoga Plaza. My friend introduced this shop to me and I've been wanting to try them for a while now, but the timing never worked out. We were finally able to go and see how it was. Looking at reviews alone, their color of matcha looked really good, which was why I wanted to go even more. Overall, will be a solid 5 star for me. Drinks: Usucha: 4.5/5 This is the matcha americano. Essentially what this is is just water and matcha. Typically this is something that I would make for work or just on a regular basis. I like tasting the strong flavor of matcha and this drink is just on the lighter side for me given that there's no milk included. They do sell their own matchas online, so I did want to try a drink that could really have that matcha shine. This drink had a really nice deep flavor. Their drinks are very concentrated, which is something I like. Of note, my friend did mention that they do seem to lean more on having a lot of ice. This is a hit or miss for some people. I personally don't mind the ice, however, the drink itself needs to be already concentrated. This means when the ice melts, it'll be a good balance. If it is already watered down *and* there's a lot of ice, that's when Ill have a problem. This is not the case here though because they use a nice quality and brand of matcha and they provide enough of it in the drink itself. Matcha Matcha: 4.5/5 This was my friend's drink and I tried it for review purposes. It is the matcha latte with matcha cream top. Their version of a double matcha it seems. Their cream alone tastes amazing. Love the flavor of the matcha. The base of their matcha is also really good. Nice balance of nuttiness, umami, and sweetness. I really like their ratio of matcha, to milk, to sweetener. Matcha was super creamy smooth, which I also really enjoyed. Menu: Small Menu Their menu is quite small. I'm not sure if they have plans to expand the menu, but with their current menu, there are 6 items under their lattes, 2 items under non-lattes, and 2 drinks on the kids menu for the little ones or for anyone that does not want the caffeinated drinks. They seem to make these items well. Honestly, if I had it my way, I would definitely order the menu just to make and try the flight of them. Note: Capping When your name is called, they put out the drinks on the tray, but the drinks are not capped. You cap them yourself. Caution to carefully cap it and properly snap on the lid, so it doesn't spill. --------- Quality: Delightful I really like the matcha powder that they're using. Highly likely that it is the one on their website, so I will be buying them sometime when I have depleted my current tins. The color is nice, bright, and rich. The flavor is nicely balanced. Not too umami, there's a slight nuttiness and sweetness, just how I like it. Price: Average Your average matcha cup is around $7-8 these days +/-1 for the additional toppings and substitutes. Matcha drinks were all $8 and then $3 for the kiddos drinks. Quite the appropriate price for these drinks these days. Service: Very nice They were super nice even with the small interactions. Perhaps others would have a shorter interaction because it's simply paying and then getting the drink and going. I stood there for a second for my Yelp picture and then proceeded to cap the cup. I was struggling to put it on (embarrassing) and the worker saw. He then helped me to cap my cups so I don't spill them. Very nice. Waiting time: Depends Our timeline is as stated below: 1134 Arrival 1217 Front of the line 1219 Ordered 1221 Received drinks For a Saturday afternoon, the wait time was around 40-50 minutes? Their process does take a while because they finish with one customer at a time. This means they take your order, make it, and then move onto the next customer versus one person taking multiple orders and then having people in the back work to make the drinks and finish the order. This process probably helps them manage mixing up orders within that confined space. I like that this process allows us that time to take pictures of the drinks before capping them and taking them away. Ambiance: Outdoor Vibes It was a nice sunny day outside and I probably needed the vitamin D. Note to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and maybe an umbrella if you need. I do kind of like the outdoors vibes like this. Nice time to talk, hang out outside, and stand underneath the sun while waiting for your nice cup of matcha. Location/Parking: Street Parking This truck is parked on the street right in front of Saratoga Plaza, so my thinking is either street parking or parking inside the plaza area. Of note, coming out of the plaza may be a little challenge because of your blind spot coming out on the left. The truck is right there are there are cars parked along the side, so you will have to carefully inch out before proceeding.

We visited on a Saturday around lunchtime and was met with a long line. Fortunately, the line moves fairly quickly and we probably only stood for about 15 minutes tops. Note - it's super hot over the summer, and there's not a ton of shade either! I ordered the strawberry matcha while my BF had the hojicha. I think I was expecting the matcha quality to be a bit more "intense" -- I think the cream top ended up taking over the flavor and the drink felt more milky than matcha-y lol. The hojicha on the other hand had a ton of depth; it was rich but texture-wise, it tasted a little too thick for my liking. Everything is whisked by hand which I appreciated (and they also sell their tins!). It looks like they're planning on opening a storefront in the same area where their trailer is. I'd encourage looking at their IG for their current trailer hours though!
