My go-to cleaners. Granted yeah it's mostly location based as it's near where I live but it's easy to find, reasonably priced (and have coupons available), service is friendly and they are quick. I don't wear dress shirts often but when I do I let them pile up and just drop off for one bulk job. This last one was $54.69 for 7 dress shirts and a full on suit. Irony is there is a cleaners literally two doors down that also has great reviews but I'm pretty brand loyal to this location since I know they are reliable. Dress clothes are not cheap so need to know they won't be ruined in any way. read more

Hadn't used their services for many years. Dropped off five dress shirts for laundry early Wednesday morning. Agent said they would be ready Monday (although the ticket said Friday). I returned Tuesday midday and only four of the shirts were available. The agent explained that the laundry is done off-site. This didn't explain why a shirt with no special handling was separated from the group, and needs an extra two days. No apology; no accommodation; just a shoulder shrug. She charged me for all the shorts, not just those completed and delivered. And is $5.35 per shirt the going rate these days? Will not be returning for any more of this kind of careless/shoddy treatment. read more

THEY DO NOT CLEAN YOUR CLOTHES!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE!! AVOID!!! My family has gone there multiple times because the location is convenient and we've had issues but this was the last straw. We brought a wool jacket with some simple stains and asked it to be dry cleaned. We specifically marked the jacket with red pieces of tape where the stains were and spoke to the person at the counter about it and they said they would take care of it. Picked up the jacket - all of the stains still there. Even the elbow crease is still there. Clearly they did nothing at all to the jacket. We told them and asked for money back. They said too bad... DO NOT go here!!! I've been taking my shirts here for almost a year and today was it! They destroyed my expensive work shirts (on top of the premium they charge) turning them yellow by literally burning the collars in their press. Connie was nice enough to refund me for their service or lack their of, but it doesn't fix the fact that I lost a couple of new shirts that I only wore a couple of times! Total rip-off - they also had asked me NOT to go to the business next door which I guess was an ex employee of theirs, but that's exactly what I'm going to do! STRETCHED OUT MY EXPENSIVE EVENING TOP!!! Their solution to my complaint was to clean it again. I had been occasionally going to them with trepidation ever since Mitch was no longer there. Then I took them two tops, one an evening top which came back all stretched out. When I went to wear it, it fit huge on my torso. I took it back and complained to the manager, who politely offered me a $35 store credit. That doesn't go very far for a garment that I paid over $150. I said that was not acceptable. Then she offered to "fix" it. When tailor-fitted fabric is stretched out so that the spacing in the knit is large, there is no amount of fixing you can do to repair it. This would not be acceptable to me either. She asked for the top back, made out a ticket that said REDO and told me to give her a few days, that she would speak with the owner. I saw the Redo on the ticket and told her I was not interested in having it cleaned again. She repeatedly assured me that it was just a label, that she wouldn't have it cleaned again and that she would personally look into it and see what could be done and repeatedly said she would call me to let me know. I waited 2 weeks in silence. Finally I went in to see what had happened and she started operating the clothes rack to find my garment. I said to her that I had hoped they had not cleaned it since that would have done nothing. She asked me to wait for her to find it, pulled it out and saw that it had been cleaned again. She clearly had not spoken to the owners or she had and just didn't want to deal with me, because I had never heard back from her. It was obvious she never treated it as an item to be put to one side and dealt with separately as a problem. I feel like what she did after I left was throw it in the dry cleaning bin and just resend it out for cleaning, as she knew nothing further was going to be done for me. When I told her that cleaning it a second time had been pointless and a waste of time, she offered a store credit again. They send out their clothes to be cleaned and don't do it in-house. I'm a person who cuts their losses and moves on, which is what I'm doing. I just found out Mitch has his own dry cleaning business, so I'm going back to him. read more

Pant still loose even if provided a template for suit pants to be tapered. Call if they can make the adjustment and person said have to pay again! It's hard to support local business if they will rip you off but the mistake they made! My first and last doing business with them. Would not recommend them. About two weeks ago I took a blazer to be altered by their "expert"I went to pick it up at the promised time only to find out after I was home that it was not altered properly, took it back and after second time again it was not fixed, on the third time they gave it to me without even been touched, fourth time it was not there and I had to come one fifth time, I was upset and asked the lady for a refund, but of course they said no and were willing to give me 10 dollars back. Manager just called me to say they cannot refund the money because they had to pay the seamstress. When I got my jeans came back, although it was not done quite the way I expected, after I contacted Chatsworth Cleaners, they immediately got back to me and offered to re-starch the jeans. The Dodger jerseys were cleaned very much to my satisfaction. Although Chatsworth Cleaners was not thrilled to hear my jeans were not starched correctly, I appreciated their timely reply on getting back to me about re-starching my jeans. BEWARE NEIGHBORS!! Poor customer service. Wondering if the reviews regarding not wanting to service African Americans or Muslims is correct. I requested next day service for an event and received a printed receipt stating "the next day available for pick up is after 5 pm." We are passed the requested date and cleaners is not offering any discounts for late service. Jocelyn/Jackie is Very hostile and argumentative with me as a repeated customer. FYI-When you turn in your clothes, there is no guarantee when you will get it back and charges vary. Invoices do not show the amount. I will follow up to post receipt and condition of clothes. They don't seem very adept at stain removal, but I think for me the "last straw" was asking for a semi-rush (3 day turn around), and the clothes not being ready the promised day of pick up OR the next day, when they were REALLY needed. No I have to go to an important meeting where I will meet the CEO of our entire company and I don't have what I need. Not happy. Having moved into the neighborhood & away from my usual dry cleaner, I was on the quest to find a replacement. Wow. Wish I knew about this place sooner! It was a fantastic experience. I dropped off my clothes with little difficulty. They got me into their system quickly & without any troubles. When I asked if I could have my clothes ready sooner than they originally offered, they said it wasn't a problem at all. When I came back to pick up, they found my clothes right away (which I can't always say for the other places I've been to) and were incredibly friendly. When the man helping me asked if it was my first visit & I said yes, he graciously gave me a new customer discount! That's what I'm talking about! So yes. I LOVE Chatsworth Cleaners. No joke. I have been bringing items to dance for roughly 15 years. I started when I needed a minister's Stole, with fringe, cleaned. When I designed the stoles it never entered my mind that adding fringe would be an issue down the road. My bad. However, I should have gone with my gut feeling when he said he hired someone to track the IP addresses of bad reviews and linked it to the other local cleaners. First , that's very illegal and 2nd, that was a lie. 3rd offense.
