I want to leave a one-star review, but in fairness, I'm going to leave two because I didn't receive the actual service and can't speak on that. However, I can speak on their customer service. I walked in to drop off a dress. I will say the associate was initially working with someone when I entered, but after quite a while, I would expect someone with good customer service to at least say, "Hi ma'am, we'll be with you shortly." Nope--not this lady. So I waited patiently. Then she looked at me (up and down) still didn't say a word. The customer she was helping said, "That's it," and walked into the changing room. While she was in there, did the associate acknowledge me? NO. Then the customer walked out and said, "Oh, I forgot I have one more." Which is fine, but there was still no acknowledgment. At that point, I started to feel like maybe they didn't want my business. maybe I'm not their target audience. Nothing was said, but the silence was loud. Take that as you please. read more

The store keeper said he would fix it for free since it was our first visit. What a pleasant surprise! The suits were cleaned well, service was fast, and the staff was friendly. So I had not been to Mason cleaners since my last review for my cashmere sweatshirt, because I haven't needed any dry cleaning since that last visit, but I was saving up items that needed repair, so I could just drop them all off at once--since Mason cleaners is 9 miles away from my home in Woodland Hills. The cashmere sweater they repaired in-house for me last time got a few more moth holes in it, so I dropped that off as well. The ceder I bought did not prevent more moths, or maybe I should have sanded it more often. A few days ago I went to go pick up my repairs, and I was greeted so warmly by the first person that ever helped me at Mason Cleaners--the Mother of the team. She's also the one that does impeccable repairs and alterations. All my repairs were perfect. All items like new. Don't believe me? She did not recognize my cashmere sweatshirt that she repaired several holes on before, and didn't notice any of the past repairs she already made on the sweatshirt. It's like new... again! I went in today to get a bridesmaid dress altered and left almost in tears. I am plus size and have an hourglass body so the dress was large in the breast area but tighter around the hips. Even when I weighed 115 lbs I always had wider hips, not a big deal, not anything an experienced seamstress can't work with. I don't know if this cleaners has many people working there or if it's just this particular woman since this was my first time there, but whoever worked today was unwilling to work with my "issues". She said nothing could be done because the dress was too tight. Note: the dress zipped up fine, the material just pulled a little by the hips which is 100% an aesthetic thing only. I asked about the breast area which was way too loose and she wasn't willing to fix that either. I looked up how quickly I could get a bigger size delivered and asked her availability for me to come back with the bigger size and she told me to find another alteration location because she's too busy and maybe someone has more time. At that point I felt defeated. She was unwilling to help me WHATSOEVER. Too big, too small, now, later in the week...there was no option that ended with her altering my dress. I took off my dress and got to the car before texting my husband and letting the tears flow. To the seamstress, I have two small sons at home and sure I'm a size 18 (just slightly higher than the average America woman) now since becoming a mom but I haven't felt shame or unattractive for not having lost all the baby weight, until today. I hope you do better for future (potential) clients. I won't be back. read more

Vick was super friendly and helpful! I stained my white sweater at lunch and brought it to him to have it dry cleaned, and he had it ready by the next day since he didn't want to let the stain sit!
