Took in a prom dress to be dry cleaned which honestly just got a little dirty on the bottom of the dress from dust/dirt kicked up while walking. Came in to pick it up and the dirt is still on the outer sheer layer of the dress and only the inside layer was cleaned. It's okay...everyone makes mistakes right? The young girl in the front says that's because the dirt was left on the dress too long, so I tell her I brought it in one day after it was worn to which she says that's because it was much dirtier when brought in! Are you serious? I have photos of the dress after it was worn and no it was not much worse. Just own up to the fact that the outer layer wasn't cleaned and fix it. Don't insult me with excuses. When I asked to speak to a manager, an older lady came out from the back and immediately saw the dirt still on the dress and said she will have it cleaned. Please don't ask customers to pay over $42 for one dress and it isn't even cleaned properly. I will update after I go back to pick up the dress in few days. Very disappointed by today's interaction. I am usually pretty understanding, but the excuses she gave me today is not acceptable. read more

I cannot believe I was charged $17.50 for 1 basic sweatshirt being dry cleaned. My daughter got the same one dry cleaned in NYC, picked it up from her apartment, and delivered it back for under $10. I was a first time customer and brought them a brand new 700 dollar T shirt to be dry cleaned for them to just burn it and all they did was keep "trying" to remove it and to only say sorry that's the best we can do and not even pay for the damage! Went in for a last minute dry clean for my dress shirt. Upon picking up there was a dirty spot on the collar. I brought it to their attention and her response was that she cant do anything right now because no ones here to clean it. Im sorry i brought my shirt to a dry cleaner to get CLEANED. Didnt even feel bad about it. No refund just a smug bs customer service voice "im sorry about that". Sad because i really liked this place for a long time. But i wont ever be back. Ever since I moved to Porter Ranch 5 years ago this place has been my go-to spot for all my dry cleaning needs. I work many events where I am required to wear a suit and after a couple events I take my dress clothes here to get them cleaned and looking like new. The 5 years I have been coming here I have not had a single problem. Price: I believe their pricing here is more than reasonable for the quality that they give. I recently brought in 3 dress shirts and total came out to $24.80 which would be around $8 which I don't consider to be too pricey for a good clean. They are very immaculate and detailed when it comes to their work. Most dry cleaners I've been to they just hang your clothes on a hangar and give it to you, but here for my dress shirts I even got a piece of cardboard around the collar to keep that nice round shape. Other services that they offer that I have not tried myself yet are their tailoring and they do clean dress shoes. We all know how dress shoes can get scuffed up and dirty from people accidentally stepping on them and drinks and food spilling on them at events so they do send out the shoes for them to get cleaned. read more

Stole over $200 worth of expensive undershirts. Took a few weeks to notice and they did and offered nothing when I called to complain. Not even offering a sorry. Same when I returned clothing that didn't belong to me. I was treated like they would never do that and I must be confused. I live alone and never saw that shirt until it was found folded in my laundry. When they weren't stealing my clothes they were barely washing them. I was getting a ring on the collar of all my shirts. I had to pre-process them with oxi clean prior to dropping off if I wanted my shirts to look clean. read more

Do not use them for alterations I asked to have 2 pairs of new Calvin Klein pants hemmed initially they did it and had a 2" hemline which I asked to be made smaller which they did however when I got home the pants were shorter than the pants I had them hem last year I called to ask them to fix it and they refused saying they hemmed where I pinned them... If you want your clothes damaged and tailored unevenly, this is the place to go. I tailored here several times and also had my shirts laundered/dry cleaned. 2 out of 3 times the clothes came dirty like something had splattered on them. When I brought this up, they refused that they did it, even though I had dropped the items off without any splatter, let alone splatter different shirts. The tailoring is extremely overpriced and not worth it. Your clothes will be inconsistent and if you ask them to fix it, they refuse. Also, the worst part is the owner. Its the older lady at the front that wears glasses. She is one if the rudest and unhappy people I have ever come across. Kind of reminds you of the aunt that you stay away from. Not sure how she became the owner, but the service speaks for itself. It always starts from the top. Basically, save your money and time and go next door to Fresh Cleaners. I've dealt with a few cleaners in my lifetime to know, whatever cleaning solution they use, it doesn't tarnish or damage your clothes. It never smells like cheap cleaning solution and my clothes come back looking like I just bought them from the store off the rack. To give you reassurance, I dry clean some of my T-shirt's, as thin cotton tends to become worn out over time due to washes and treatment. My t-shirts still look brand new after about 20+ X worn and dry cleaned. I also have to add, they're some of the nicest people and always smiling when I visit. It's all worth it! read more

If you're a regular customer and you put your credit card on file they will give you a personalized laundry bag and you can drop off after hours through the drop window. After being a customer for years, I will never again set foot in this establishment. I went there today to pick up and drop off cleaning. There was a woman in the front sewing clothing with no mask on. When I commented to the employee at the register that I did not feel comfortable with an employee at the front wearing no mask and talking, I was told they can't make employees wear masks. I told her it was the law at present and rather than apologize or take care of the situation, her response was some people think it is the law and some don't. At that point I picked up my clothing and took back what I had planned to drop off and told the young lady I would be using another cleaner from now on. read more

My husband used this business so I had him take 4 of my silk blouses on a day he had to pick up a few of his shirts he has them press (ironed) any way when he went to pick them up they couldn't find them at first, but as they're looking around they were found under the counter where they put them with a tag the day he brought them in. In other words they didn't do them at all ! (which to me is a big red flag) at any rate my husband leaves them there to do again, there is no apology, no, oh we'll have these done for you quickly! NOTHING except pick them up in a week in half. This time he picks them up for me on his way home from work. The cost was absolutely ridiculous for 4 blouses that I felt they should have comped us anyway & on top of all this 2 of them they completely destroyed! Attached note said something like we cannot be held responsible for this blouse due to its bad design & cheap material.... Something like that, All, but 1 of these blouses were designed by "Rebecca Taylor" If you don't know her she's just 1 of the many higher end designers sold at Saks, Nordstroms, just all the major & top department stores!! THese shirts were anything but cheaply made, Ok!! NEVER AGAIN! Found out later they don't do the dry cleaning there they send it out to a REAL DRY CLEANERS!!!! Amazing that these people are still in business!! Don't take your dry cleaning here, they haven't a clue!! read more

The dry cleaning service is much more expensive for the same service you can get elsewhere. I highly recommend NOT using the tailoring and shoe repair services, which are outsourced. Tailoring: Went in to have bra cups sewn into three low-back/backless dresses. The dresses weren't ready until a week AFTER their estimated pick-up date and they didn't bother calling me when they needed more time. All three cups were improperly placed and were not the type that were promised (had extremely unflattering stitching throughout the cups). Brought them back to be redone and when I got them back, the bra cups on one of the dresses were still improperly placed where my stomach should be. I showed him the last time where they needed to be - where the bust darts are!! I also noticed that the side seam along another dress had been unstitched and wasn't stitched back up again! Waste of time and money. Shoe repair: In hindsight, I was better off buying a new pair of sandals after they destroyed the ones I brought in. Although I asked them to do something unusual, the shoe repair service does not know how to accurately measure. Customer service: Terrible. I paid for all these services that were not done correctly the first or second time, and they made me feel like they were doing me a favor for re-doing it each time. My husband gets dry cleaning done regularly and, because of what I had to deal with for such simple requests, they lost two customers. read more

I came to this cleaners because it is so close to my house however it was a first and last time thing. I was very disappointed. I brought in a lab coat and a plain target white dress with a stain on it. It cost me more then the dress did to have it cleaned. The lab jacket I had altered which was a decent job but $16 kinda pricey in my opinion. The stain on the pocket of the lab jacket was still there. It cost $16 to clean but it wasn't cleaned. They didn't offer to do it again or to give me some kind of discount because it was not cleaned. To me that shows they don't care about their customers so I'll drive a little farther for a business that does. This place is overpriced but even worse then that is the fact that their work doesn't correlate with what they charge. I'll continue to drive to encino to hill top cleaners. Better reviews and much better work. In hindsight I know wish I would have read reviews before coming here. read more

Their motto - "Even if customer is right make sure to argue him/her down." Male tailor made an obvious mistake and hemmed my exercise skort out instead of in. Rough side showing, as if I was supposed to wear it inside out. When I pointed it out, no apology. Defensiveness. He said because he works on $1,000 dresses he could fix it. i was skeptical. There was no more fabric length left and he was going to pull every thread out and turn in the hem into the right direction and sew it. I foresaw thread pulls and puncture marks. This was stretchy exercise material, Ideology brand. Tailor said not to make a big thing about it. Owner said tailor was a designer, no apology yet. I got pulled into their defensiveness, my mistake. They were intimidating me. Don't think they want my business. Unfortunately i left skort there to be fixed. Cooled off and called them within the hour to ask for my money back and skort as it is. Now have to go pick it up. Back to Kenn Cleaners who do great alterations, but a couple of miles further away from home. read more
