This place is tremendous. I've been coming here for over a year now but never thought to write a review about it. I come here a few times a week and I have to say that this is the BEST thai food you can get anywhere in / around Boston. It's amazingly fresh, the portions are big, and the service is amazing. The wait for food is never long (about 5-10 minutes after you order), and the wait staff is very friendly / attentive. There's a few things that stand out to me in regards to the (much closer to me) other thai restaurants in the area. Sweet lemons / Lime leaf just don't taste as 'fresh'. My girlfriend complained about canned mangos at the other places, whereas Chatta Box is always great about using fresh produce. If you show up around lunch you can see them prepping bean pods or other fruits / veggies for later in the day. It's really second to none, and I can't say anything bad about it. As an FYI, I've been trying to drink my water quickly and see how long I can make my glass stay empty, it's usually under 1 minute before it's refilled. read more

I drive about an hour to eat at the Chatta Box. Why? There's no place in Boston like it, the service is impeccable, and the food is simply amazing. Love, love, love their sesame chicken. A must go for lunch portions are huge, food is great, staff is friendly and prices are cheap. Dinner on the other hand prices go considerably higher and it is always so busy it just feels like you are being rushed. The noodles are some of my favorite things to get. A #3 out of 5 is the best for heat. Sushi is sub par and the drinks are less than average. Over priced and nothing special. I have only been to the Chatta Box a couple of times for dinner, but I have to admit-- their Thai food is pretty good for a small nook in Bridgewater! My actual rating is 3.5 stars. The food was excellent both times I've been here for dinner, and the service is great. I ordered the Mango Curry Chicken both times, and it was very tasty. However, I find the Chatta Box to be pricier than some Thai restaurants; my chicken was $14 as a dinner platter. Their bartender mixed drinks that were neither too weak nor too strong. The restaurant itself is clean and welcoming. The decor is warm, open, and pleasing to the eye. It is a nice restaurant to catch up with a group of friends. I will definitely return to the Chatta Box if I am in the area and in the mood for Thai. read more

The food here was hit or miss for me. We had pan fried dumplings which were very good, and my husbands fried rice was well seasoned and came with crispy chicken. However, the pad Thai was just not up to par, which seemed strange for a Thai restaurant. The sauce tastes like it came from a jar, and despite charging me extra for having chicken and vegetables, it came with very few veggies. We will continue our search for good local Thai. read more

The food is great. The staff is great! You will never be thirsty because they refill your water CONSTANTLY. Its a little place in a plaza that you would not expect to be great going in. The food exceeded our expectations and the service was great. The atmosphere was a little tacky but fun because of the Malaysian influence. Looks like they do a great take-out business and its a popular spot for people to have a casual bite to eat. read more

After a bad pad thai experience the other day, I was on the lookout for a new place to try and other Yelpers did not let me down! The pad thai was amazing! I saw how big the dinner size was and went for that even though it was lunch. I knew I would want the leftovers for dinner later! My boyfriend got the pad kee mao and usually I don't touch it when he orders it bc it's just too hot for my liking. Not so here! It tasted fresh and flavorful, not like pure heat! The food here is always delicious and service is quick and pleasant. Both the sushi and Thai food are flavorful and made fresh, arriving piping hot at the table (not the sushi...don't worry) and the portions are enough for leftovers. My husband and I decided to try this place out from the good reviews on this site. We now have a new fave. We've been back with our friends numerous times. It has a nice quaint atmosphere. The staff are always friendly. My daughters really enjoy the little rose that they make out of the straw wrappers. The portions are gigantic, so either share a meal if also ordering appetizers or you'll have plenty leftovers. The food is also very flavorful. My favorites on the menu are the coconut chicken fingers, the garlic beef and the beef basil. read more

Finally tried this place after hearing my girlfriend talk about it all the time. Quite possibly the best Asian food I've ever had. Had the beef with broccoli which was delicious. Also the coconut chicken fingers which were very good and a nice change from the standard deep fried ones you get everywhere else. What can I say. Fresh ingredients and expert preparation. Service was very friendly and welcoming. The only problem you may find is actually figuring out what to eat. The menu is huge with so many interesting dishes you may never of heard of. Wife had crispy orange chicken with fried rice and I had the egg noodles with chicken and shrimp and veggies. We have been waiting to go to this restaurant since forever. Our cousin Paul have this open invitation to go this place since we got married and never had the chance until now (btw we've been married for 12 years). The long wait was so worth it. The place was packed but we got sitted right away. We had Korean kalbi short ribs, deji bulgogi (Korean spicy pork), pineapple fried rice, crazy crispy pad thai, California rolls and honey sesame chicken and they were mouth-watering good. I usefully take pictures  but the anticipation overtook me. But believe me this place is a diamond in the rough! We will travel again for an hour just to explore food that we haven't tried on their menu yet. The serving is a good portion so you can share. You gotta check it out. read more
