Delicious pastries, lots to choose from there was a mix-up with our order being given away. They made it right and I'm grateful since the protein was needed for breakfast! The guava cream cheese and strawberry croissants were perfect.

Iced Vanilla Latte, Vegan Morning Burrito (Front left), Regular Morning Burrito (Back Right)

Wow! The vegan morning burrito was delicious. The verdict from my partner (who mostly eats meat), was that it was a lot cheesier and yummier than the regular morning burrito. I love all their options, I only wish they had the vegan cold foam at this location. Regardless, I can appreciate how large their vegan menu is (even the pastries) compared to other cafes. The seating is so lovely and varied. There's benches, couches and outdoor seating! I would not recommend for studying unless you're there to do some quick work or reading. There aren't many outlets for long laptop-use (but a great space if you don't use laptop for studying!) the customer service was awesome. Very friendly staff that made the welcoming experience!!

A family member lives walking distance from the Santa Monica location. We had coffee and pastries one morning. The display of pastries in the bakery is like a museum of delightful treats! I was pleasantly pleased by the variety of goods served there. Staff was pleasant. The environment is quaint for seating both inside and outside. I'm not sure about parking because I did not have a car and my family member does not drive. A very nice and enjoyable Sunday morning of coffee and breakfast with family is just what we needed.

Got a vegan cream filled croissant which was $8. The filling was not too sweet, had a nice flakiness, and I could taste the tart of the ube cream. The staff were great and shared that real butter is used in the regular croissants. Wifi is available so I imagine this being a nice place to work from. The shop had a cute aesthetic with pink chairs and wooden furniture. Parking was available in the residential & retail lot. It was a little complicated though because the parking elevator is within the residential complex so it was a bit tough to get back in through the gate.

Absolutely obsessed with this place!! The food is so darn good. Their pastries are unmatched. This place just knows how to do it. Their breakfast is incredible, you'll never leave there feeling gross. Their breakfast healthy burrito and egg and cheese croissant are to die for. You just don't want it to be over when it is. Everyone is really nice there, the location is cozy and they have great WiFi and tables if you need to work out of there real quick. I'm so happy this place is here!

I really pike their food, the do have a good vegan options, place it's really pretty, the food is delicious, good flavors, the staff is very helpful and nice but I have to say that the day we went it was a Tuesday at noon at the place was a little dirty, they have like 5 tables full of dirty dishes, they were just 2 guys making coffee, serving, and getting orders and also apparently cleaning. Also their drinks were not so great honestly, everything tastes very simple or the opposite super sweet.

Great selection of vegan treats and stand out breakfast sandwich. The coffees are also tasty and staff is very friendly. Big fan of earl grey croissants!

VEGAN REVIEW What an AMAZING French bakery, where about half (a little less) of the pastry case is vegan. An awesome selection of sweet & savory. I've brought my snooty onmi friends who agree the vegan options are top notch-- some have even said the vegan almond croissant is better than the one made with dairy! There is also a vegan food menu with great omelets, salads & bowls. Tasty bevs, as well. Friendly service. Very chill vibe space, outdoor space for those with dogs. Street parking is not bad! Bike parking also available.

This little gem is perfect for a coffee date or an afternoon break from work. Fresh pastries and friendly service. If you are looking for a quiet ambiance to do work, this is the perfect spot.

Wonderful service and people work here! My friend ordered bacon not knowing it was beef bacon and they received it back and credited her. It was very salty and altho delicious she thought it would be regular bacon. It was more like shredded pastrami but very salty. Thank you for taking her of us. My avocado toast was delicious as usual. Always a nice place to hang out. Love the mellow vibe here.

I love Chaumont. They have one of the best vegan pastries I've ever had, including Europe. My usual location is the one in Beverly Hills, but my partner had a medical procedure today, and we decided to stop by this location to brighten his day a bit. This location is great for a meetup or to grab a coffee with friends. The food is delicious and parking is convenient. There is parking in front of the business, but only few spots, and if that's not available, there's a parking garage just down the alley. The food is excellent, and I appreciate great vegan options. However, management really needs to have a conversation with the girl working at the counter ( dark brown hair and bangs). I have never experienced such bad customer service or rudeness and considering the price range at this business, I would at least expect respectful customer service. As we were looking what to order, I had to guide my partner and read individual labels since he had just undergone a PRK procedure and couldn't open his eyes. It was obvious when I led him into the business that he was struggling with his eyesight. From the moment she saw us at the counter, she was rude. We weren't even taking up her time, she was serving other customers while I stood to the side reading the labels, not her. Then, when we were finally ready to order, she completely ignored us, and a younger man kindly stepped in to take our order. We ordered over $70 worth of pastries, some to take home and two pastries with coffee to have there. The guy at the counter took our order, gave us a table number, and noted the takeout items separately from what we would be eating there. She overheard the word "takeout" and immediately jumped in, scolding him for giving us a table number if we had a takeout order. I kindly clarified that he had it right, we were taking some items home but having coffee and pastries there, which is nothing unusual. She completely ignored me, typed something at the register, and walked away. The guy reassured us that the order would be with us shortly. He was very kind, but I could tell she was either his supervisor or that he was in training, and I felt bad that he had to experience her tantrum. I ignored the situation and guided my partner to his seat. Then, she came over and threw the bag onto the table. I said thank you, but she refused to make eye contact. She then banged the coffee cups onto the table, which were in takeout cups, and all the pastries were packed, even though we had clearly specified which ones we wanted to eat there. One of the plastic cups was broken and leaking coffee. She turned what should have been a great experience into a terrible one. I hope management speaks to her, especially considering she is training others. No one should have to deal with this daily. As a manager and leader in a company with 100,000+ employees myself, where we actively participate in leadership/ management training, I can say this is outright team harassment, not to mention customer neglect. Pretty sad for such a great location.

Legitimate vegan food. I recommend the vegan pepperoni croissant pizza. They make their vegan bacon in house from mushrooms, amazing, so savory with a dash of dill.

My favorite croissant in LA! Espresso is excellent, too. This location is nestled in a quiet part of Santa Monica with lots of parking and easy access from biking (very different compared to the Beverly Hills location). Offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Tremendous amount of vegan options! I accidentally ordered a vegan Rose water croissant last time so best to pay a bit more attention than I did! Still delicious, but wasn't what I intended.

We were delighted with the box of cookies and tarts that they brought from Paderia in Santa Monica. The chocolate chip walnut cookies were fat and soft with a slightly crisp exterior. The thickness of them allowed a plethora of rich chips to reside inside. The soft peanut butter chocolate cookie was also a huge fattie with peanut butter chips within the chocolate cookie. Both were enhanced with a quick warm-up. I loved both of these cookies and think the chocolate chip is the very best you'll ever find. We also had Portuguese egg tarts. The pastel de nata (if I recall, this is what they are called) I ate was small but good, but I have had others that were more to my liking, with a sweeter custard and a more caramelized top, which I guess is a personal preference. My first time- with the high, beam-exposed ceiling and layout, has Joan's on Third vibes. No seating inside but plenty outdoors, although the closer to the entrance, you need to talk loudly above the music. I went late (to meet a friend) at 1pm. Few choices in the pastry section though it looked like they would replenish, which they barely did an hour later. Here's what I got: FRENCH SILK PIE - OMG, the chocolate mousse like filling was butter. Thick but light. The crust was dry and too thick but I could smother myself with the filling. PEANUT BUTTER HONEY RICE KRISPY - Very large, cereal was too compressed and dense. The pb flavor was fresh and natural but I did not taste honey. The marshmallow fluff on top was unnecessary but the few blobs inside the krispy was a nice textural difference. Both were $6 each. I can see why they can't sustain their business. Maybe because they're closing the bakery, they didn't want to bake excessively. But the middle tables have cute but overpriced novelties. There was a big table of just old fashioned Helms truck tins, filled with cookies for a mere $50. The prepackaged food might be good but was expensive. $12 for a small egg salad sandwich.
