When I first came in, I was confused if I was in the right spot cause it's part bar and part sandwiches. I will start that service is friendly and quick. There are lots of tables. I like the menu is pretty concise so it's not overwhelming. I can see why people like it and I understand the concept. People have told me how good the subs are so I finally gave it a try. For me, I'm not a huge fan. They're pretty soggy for me and I like my sandwiches dry and not dripping in sauce. The bread wasn't toasted enough for me. I think it might have tasted better if I threw it in the airfryer but I wasn't home. Overall, flavors were good. They're pretty filling.

Always in the mood for a sandwich. Online ordering was a breeze, the sandwich was ready when I arrived. The turkey club flavors came together nicely. $1 for giardineirea is a little steep. All in all not a bad sandwich.

I was in the area charging my car nearby and wanted to grab something to eat. I'd met someone earlier who recommended Cheba Hut, so I figured this was the perfect time to check it out. The whole place is such a vibe -- colorful spray-painted art covers the walls, with quirky pictures and movie references everywhere. It's got a super chill, laid-back atmosphere that makes you want to stay a while. When I walked in, I was greeted right away by the friendly staff. I ordered the Kali Mist (4-inch) with everything on it, a side of chips, and a drink at the bar. Darrell suggested the Ms. Parker cocktail -- sweet but not too sweet, perfectly balanced. Later, I chatted with Ash, the bartender, who was awesome! We had such a great conversation -- I mentioned I was new to the area, and she gave me some great local tips. Talking to her honestly felt like chatting with an old friend. She even surprised me with a green tea shot since it was my first time there (highly recommend -- so good!). Now, the food -- the Kali Mint sandwich was absolutely delicious: turkey, bacon, avocado, and a slice of pickle. I'm telling you, I'll be ordering this every. single. time. Overall, this spot has great vibes, great hospitality, and great food. Can't wait to come back!

What a great place to grab a bite. The food was fresh and delicious. I ordered the Apollo 13 , and definitely reccomend it. The customer service was great; they were patient and answered all of my questions regarding the menu. The restaurant was clean and orderly. There is a bar inside as well. There is both indoor and outdoor seating options available

for starters, the vibe is super chill, customer service, friendly, and quick as for the food that's another story in order to get a better idea of what they're trying to sell to us, which is variety diversity. You have to be willing to try all the sandwiches and let me tell you. I've tried almost all of them so I can tell you that they know what they're doing. when I first started going there, my personal favorite was the white widow then I found out that you can add any kind of sauce. Any kind of extra topping if you wanna add nachos to that or pretzel nuggets no problem. recently, I've been trying to "CB fade" that sandwich was created behind the basketball player , apparently a portion of the sales from that sandwich go to a Make-A-Wish foundation or to help kids I believe, which is super cool another really good sandwich you should try is gonna be the "Grape Ape" Keep in mind. The name sounds interesting. Wait till you try it though it's got meatballs. It's got cream cheese. You can add spicy regular obviously lettuce, tomato onion house and shake, but they also add jelly you can either do grape or you can do strawberry my personal favorite is the grape mind you most people are gonna be like whoa but wait till you try it.

I will start out by saying the bartender Kirk is amazing. Really friendly and makes great drinks. The bar is a great vibe and has a great atmosphere so you are able to talk to everyone there. The sandwiches are great as all. I've had the Kali Mist and the BBQ Roast Beef and they were both amazing. Was also able to watch Sunday night football as well along with some extreme sports. All in all I had a great time here and will be coming back.

Always a consistent spot for good tasting toasted sandwiches. The artwork in this place is unlike anything you'll see in most sandwich shops. I'll just say you'll have to see it for yourself. Their pretzel bites are also amazing. The food came out quick despite how busy they were and I liked how late they stayed open. They had a full bar as well. Only complaint i had was the parking, it was confusing, limited, and had "must pay for parking" signs everywhere which I paid for in fear of getting ticketed, but once I got inside, the worker assured me if I was dining in, I shouldn't have had to pay for parking.

The sammiches are always great, fresh toasty goodness! I usually get the Apollo and hubs gets the 5-0 but maybe someday I'll try something else. I LOVE the hip-hop music and gorgeous mural. The staff is always upbeat and helpful.

Veyyy good and very satisfied !!I will continue to order here . The service is fast! easy to order online the taste of the food will leave your mouth wat!

Cool vibe. Good subs. Had the 5-0 but wish I had more filling to the sub. It was a lot of bread. Flavor and staff was great.

Overall, this place was delicious. Although the person who served our food was rude. I get that's it's new but the service should be better.

There was pretty much no one when I came around 6-7pm, so I was a bit skeptical. However, looked like a clean place and staff were welcoming when I came in. They have many options for different types of banh mi. I asked for the cashier's recommendations and he said I should try the roasted pork banh mi. It's not too expensive, mine came out to about $11, but definitely can find cheaper. The roasted pork banh mi is solid. It had a nice sweet tangy savory sauce with all the fixings you want in a banh mi. A good amount of pork, it's a really good deal for anyone craving a banh mi, and tasted pretty authentic. I definitely would come back!

Not really sure what the difference is besides maybe one more layer of meat. Otherwise all the sandwiches are loaded the same with yummy veggies, you just pick the meat you'd prefer! I marked off a star for the baguette. Not sure if it's because we went during dinner time but my bread was quite toasted and sharp on the edges that I cut my lip. 2nd star - The Hot Cheetos mozzarella dog was pretty good but my husband bit into a piece of plastic, which is absolutely not okay. Fries were pretty mid - "seasoned" is just light salt and pepper. Would go back again but not in a rush.

We went on Mother's Day (totally forgot it was that day), but were able to call and get a table inside for two. Everyone we interacted with was super friendly and attentive, so expect good service. We decided to get two dishes and share with each other, so I ordered the Rahm Schnitzel and he ordered the Bratwurst Platter, and our side choices were spätzle und kroketten with a salad and goulash for soup. I was driving, so my brother ordered a pint of pilsner, which of course I had to take a sip for quality control, and it passed the test lol. The server mentioned they were having issues with some of their alcohol equipment that day, so alcohol options were very limited. The food came out quite quickly, or I think it did, because my brother and I were busy chatting and catching up. Food was hot, and everything tasted delicious and well-seasoned. I can't say that I had a favorite dish because it was all delicious, but I did really like the Rahm schnitzel with the kroketten!! Will be back in warm weather so I can go eat and drink on the patio!

I love the atmosphere of their current location South of Aurora Mall and their mini deli, beer garden. Their lunch portion is the perfect amount. Dinner portions are larger. I had lunch on Friday and had one of my favorites, Rouladen with red cabbage and fried spatzle. Service was excellent as always. I've never used their bathrooms before until this visit. Not sure if they are always like this, but the hallway to the bathrooms and in the bathroom smell bad. Kind of tarnished the greatness of the meal & service. Also I miss the old deli size. They have downsized their deli meats and other candy goodies. I suspect it was for more demand for the beer garden. Overall I'll be back as always to get my yummy authentic German food fix!

It really gave me RVA (Richmond, VA circa early 2000s) nostalgia vibes like for places I worked in around Broadway during college! Wow. Love everything about this place. I'd been going to a lot of coffee shops lately where the style is all like new stuff and new style (which I LOVE) but the style of Tessa Delicatessen was so unexpectedly refreshing. I didn't realize that this part of Colfax was Park Hill! I saw a lot of other interesting places nearby. Can't wait to go back and wander! Not sure if it was the owner that greeted me at the register but she was very friendly and warm. I love the self serve coffee and water and you get to pick a unique mug to drink from. Really strong neighborhood vibe and I think she said it had been open since 2017. So cool! I'm obsessed with the spaciousness and space! My breakfast sandwich did explode all over my hand - so be careful! The egg is soft inside! I got coffee, cheesy hash and the breakfast sandwich. $25 for everything including tip. I think that's a great deal for a lovely morning vibe and breakfast in 2026!

We started with their traditional black eyed pea soup because good luck traditions matter. Shortly after, I "found" three dollars in my coat pocket. Was it already my change from the store? Yes. Did I still credit the soup? Also yes. From there, we leaned fully into deli mode. The cheeseburger was solid and satisfying, the Reuben hit all the right notes, and the macaroni salad was exactly what you want it to be. No frills, just done right. Dessert sealed the deal. The cheesecake was rich without being heavy, and the carrot cake was genuinely excellent. Tessa feels like one of those neighborhood spots you can come back to again and again. Comforting, straightforward, and very good at what they do. Fortune and prosperity aside, this place is worth a visit on its own.

After finally making it out with my friends during my travels to Denver, I can definitely see why it was reviewed well enough to make it. The Banh Mi sold here aren't the typical Banh Mis you would find in Viet shops because they put their own twist on these traditional sandwiches. They have really unique options & a good variety of meat choices. It seems to have some French/Japanese/Korean influences woven into these creations. The menu in-store also offers detailed photos of whats inside as to help you make your very difficult decision on what to get. I personally got to try PHO-FRENCH DIP which features beef brisket. Upon first bite, it was delicious! The brisket is plenty. The hoisin & sriracha sauce paired with it all. The veggies appeared fresh & crunchy. The bread was fully baked in-store. Since it's a tribute to the french dip, they had their own rich pho broth type soup to dip it in which complemented the sandwich well. The dip was good enough to kinda drink as well. Overall, I felt the food offered here is great - you can't go wrong with any decision. My friends and I said that we were all impressed & would like to come back again if possible. I too would want to come back to try their braised pork belly next time because that looked good!
