I ordered a White Widow sandwich, which is supposed to be chicken, but I was given a salami sandwich instead. Worst part is since it was to go I did not realize until I got home. When I arrived I stood at the register for about 10 minutes trying to get someone's attention, but the workers behind the counter completely ignored me even though they clearly saw me standing waiting. When I asked for an extra ranch, I had to wait another 5 minutes before the employee whom I ask asked for extra ranch finally came over to charge me for it. As soon as I told her I was okay with being charged for extra ranch she should had proceeded to charge me and hand me the ranch instead of cleaning and letting me wait until she got done cleaning. The employees were unpleasant, unfriendly, and very rude throughout the entire experience. They seem to hate their job and make the ambiance terrible. Here's what she said about her overall experience: The customer service is a 5/5. The girl who took the order was great. She was nice and professional. The location is a 4/5 considering it's in the downtown area, and she had to park on the street and walk a little to get to the restaurant. The appearance is a 5/5. It has a nice vibe, and she'd eat there if it wasn't so packed. She said the inside was full when she showed up, so I took that as a good sign. Now onto the sandwich ratings: My sister ordered the Apollo 13 and rates it a 5/5. She says it's delicious, and she'd definitely order it again. I ordered the Kali Mist and added green bell pepper, cucumber, and banana peppers to it. It was phenomenal. I rate it a 5/5. It's a spicy sub, and I don't usually eat spicy food. However, I can handle a slight kick, and this sub was the perfect level of spice for me. It was on the milder side, so it wasn't too crazy. If you eat spicy food, this wouldn't be spicy at all to you. It is flavor packed and a good size. We both ordered an 8". I was worried the sandwich may be dry, but the sauce they put on mine was bomb! It was sauced up perfectly. Not too little, and not too much. I'd order the Kali Mist again. I went to this place for the first time today with a friend of mine for lunch, and I was not disappointed. The service was very quick, and our sandwiches came LOADED. It was one of the best sandwiches I've had at a restaurant, and I don't say that lightly. The ambiance was also very nice, like a clean-street design (if that makes sense). The trash can and soda machine was sticker bombed, but it wasn't overdone and none of the stickers were at all crass like you might find on a street sign. The sandwiches are really good. I have been 3 times in the last month. 1st time was great! 2nd was okay, 3rd was almost as good as the first. Counter staff vary and can seem like they have a case of the "don't cares", I suspect they are high sometimes. Some are very pleasant, others seem disinterested. I usually don't focus on the staff, but it seems to go hand in hand with the quality during my visits. My daughter was pissed, and said she didn't feel like the staff listened to her order. If still recommend as it is still the best sandwich I had in a while. I hope the quality gets consistent, as they are coming to The Ontario area soon. read more

Parking is a bit tough at first but then I saw the free parking at the Hampton, so do that instead of circling around cause man oh man it gets busy! So incase you didn't know there's also a bar inside and they have performers. So it can get busy and it's also a bit loud but nothing too crazy. Now the food, we got the pretzel nuggets and the G-13. Those pretzel bites are amazing! Get them, so soft and the honey mustard is perfect. The Sub was also insanely good, the bread was perfectly crisp, and that chipotle sauce they put on it is to die for. Now the best thing they have, the Kool-Aid! The service was decent, the sandwiches were delicious and most of all the place was clean. The Ambiance is very urban. They have stickers everywhere, the place is busy with a lot of locals visiting and they are located at the perfect downtown area. They have a pretty vast menu which includes sandwiches for everyone. They have vegan and vegetarian as well, lots of it too! They have toasted and non-toasted subs. They have 2 sizes and couple of bread selections. They also have a decent sides on their menu.
