Cheba Hut is one of our office favorites. With such a wide variety of subs and desserts, it's hard not to keep coming back for more. I ordered the Pacific Blue (tuna salad) in the 8-inch size, and it was more than enough--plenty left over for a later snack or dinner. And how could I forget the pickle chips? As a pickle lover, these were a highlight for me--crispy, tangy, and perfectly seasoned. In addition to the sub and pickle chips, I devoured most of a chocolate chip cookie and a corner of a Rice Krispy treat. The Rice Krispy square tasted like Froot Loops, and the cookie was incredibly soft and chewy with big chunks of chocolate. I'd recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be ordering again.

I loveee Cheba hut, it's hands down my favorite sandwich place. The garlic herb bread is what makes is so unique in my opinion, it's the best thing here. The sandwiches are all so delicious, my favorite is the Kali Mist and pricing is pretty reasonable. I love a good toasted sub, and this place was nice and clean and didn't have to wait long. I like that you can get a 4 inch "nug" if you need a light snack, or a pinner (8 inch) pretty filling.

It was my first time here for lunch. Didn't know what to expect. Friendly customer service. I ordered the pretzel nubs which were very tasty! Along with that I ordered the 4 inch tuna....sandwich was good except I wish it had more tuna and less onions. All in all great experience and I'll be back.

Legit best sandwiches I've ever had! Today I had the Jamaica Red and my eyes rolled in the back of my head it was that good! I highly recommend their whole menu I've never had a bad day at Cheba :)

My first time at a Cheba Hut. Food was okay; split a roast beef sandwich. Lots of veggies, not much meat. The music was so loud and irritating, I could hardly wait to get out. Probably won't return.

These sandwiches are so delicious. This place is such a vibe. I love the aesthetic. They have games. They also have a full bar which is great for my tendencies.

Ate at this location today - a past time regular of the Tempe location. Love that they have a separate pick up window for to-go orders - smart move! Online ordering is super convenient. We went with the Thai Stick and the Dank. Two sandwiches (one 12 inch, one 8 inch) was $35 ish which I guess is expected these days. Things I liked: creative menu, fast service, lots of additional toppings. Things I didn't love: bread tasted and felt like it was baked 2-3 days ago, sandwiches were both pretty dry. Overall still a great pick for a lunch sandwich - would recommend!

So glad Cheba Hut opened on this side of town! My first visit was to their Glendale location as it is close to work. Otherwise the closest one is in Tempe so this is much more convenient. I love how the rest of the shops in this area have white lettering for their signs but CH said nah, we're going with our signature green and orange. We came for their 420 celebrations where they were offering nugs for $4.20. It was pretty busy but there is a lot of seating, including the patio where we sat. We got their KGB, Jamaican red, and Kali mist (no bacon). I tried the KGB and it was fine, I'm just not a horseradish fan. The Jamaican red was delicious, wish it was spicier but it was flavorful. The Kali mist was tasty as well, even reheated the next day. Service was friendly and quick and I look forward to coming back! They have a rewards program too but I didn't get my points so I'm waiting to hear from them.

The food is pretty good. Pretty good sandwiches and fast service. The food came out pretty fast. The vibe is pretty chill and laid back.

When you get home and your order is incorrect for the 3rd time you review...no way to get ahold of them. Tried calling. Ordered Griefo with hummus AND cream cheese PLUS cheese...literally NONE of the three are on there! Dry bread & veggies and you call this a restaurant?! Ugh. So sad because the first time they were empty, took my order with the extras and it was perfect, overflowing and delish. Did give an extra star because the other sandwich in the order was correct but there were no modifications. Last time instead of wheat they gave me white. Before that it was a different sandwich all together!

They give you this after you order at the counter.

Great toasted subs and a lot of different choices of both subs and chips. There's an actual bar on one side of the restaurant and they actually have a happy hour. The other side is booths. There is also a patio. The decor is interesting and not our thing as it heavily promotes marijuana and the music was loud and we could hear the people in the bar area shouting over it. Would probably do a to go order next time if we go again.

I've been waiting patiently for this location, less than five miles from my house, to open and get itself sorted out. It was worth the wait! Normally I have to drive to downtown Phx to get my Cheba on. This location is going to crush my wallet! While my favorite item on the menu was removed during pandemic days (hummus sandwich - I forgot the old name), I can still get the same item by removing the guac from the Power Plant. I don't know what they do to them, but the combo of veggies, hummus and dressing hits my sandwich spot straight on! I think it's the pickles... I just always want them to put more hummus on since it's the "meat" for a vegan! They did a pretty good job with it this time, but I still wanted more of course. The new location is in a large strip mall area, so there's plenty of parking (unlike the downtown location). The space itself is a bit small. The line was to the door, and the bar area was pretty packed at 12:30 on a Friday. I'm glad they're starting off with great demand and hope they can keep up with it! The order took as long as expected - maybe five minutes - to be ready. It's what I typically expect at Chebas since they toast 'em. And - the most exciting part of my first visit to this location - while I was in line, the manager (I guess) came up and said "Five dollar Friday!" and gave us all $5 bills! He explained that he does this instead of stupid coupons, etc. It hit my head like a mallet - wow - actually rewarding the people who go to your place already - what a concept! I loved it! Needless to say, I'll be back.

The banana hazelnut latte was great! I am not a huge fan of overly sweet drinks, so I asked for half sweet and it was perfect for me. The Cali bagel sandwich looked delicious and was packed with fresh ingredients. They were not skimping on the fillings. My only suggestion would be to add a little more seasoning or something to give it a bit more flavor, as it tasted slightly bland to me. The pepperoni pizza bagel was good and pretty straightforward. It is a classic combination. My friend and I both thought it would be especially good with some hot honey drizzled on top or served on the side for dipping. The mozzarella stick bagel was a limited time item, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, this was probably my least favorite of everything we ordered. I am not sure if ours happened to be overcooked, but the fried outer part of the bagel was extremely chewy, almost leathery. The mozzarella inside the bagel did not seem fresh, and the cheese was not really melted. This may have just been an off batch, but I won't get it again. Now for the absolute star of the visit: the strawberry shortcake blinged out cream cheese bagel. This was perfection. It was creamy, had the perfect amount of sweetness. Absolutely delicious This was easily my favorite. The restaurant itself is very spacious, with lots of seating indoors as well as an enclosed outdoor seating area. It has a cute, trendy atmosphere and seems like a great spot to hang out and enjoy brekkie/brunch/lunch. The staff were extremely friendly and the service was great overall. One small thing I noticed was tables were being cleaned pretty slowly when we were there. Overall, I had a decent first experience! I would definitely come back and try more of the drinks and menu items. will update my review once I have had the chance to try more

From the outside, the place doesn't look like much, tucked away in a small shopping center. Once inside, there are a plentiful number of tables in the smallish restaurant, which does not feel at all cramped. It is tastefully decorated, and you order at a counter, and they will either call you to get your food or bring it out to you. On the day we were there, the owner was behind the counter and took our order. He asked if we had been there before, and since I had not, he took the time to explain the menu to me. They focus nearly exclusively on chicken tenders, and we opted to share The Three Tenders, which comes with...you guessed it...three chicken tenders (with your choice of heat level), three warmed tortillas, pickles, and alley sauce (the house dipping sauce) on the side. We added sides of French fries and Cole slaw, and the owner gave me a free fountain drink since it was my first time there. So nice! We grabbed a high-top table, and once the food came out, and I bit into the first tender, I knew I was eating the best chicken tenders I have ever eaten. Seriously. These are awesome and at a decent price, too. The tenders are very large and perfectly breaded. The spiciness matches the heat level you choose--not to little and not too much. No mushy tempura batter here either. And the house dipping sauce was perfectly suited to the tenders. The fries and slaw were great, too. If you like chicken tenders, you won't regret trying Hot Chicken Alley!

I first heard about this place from a friend who lives in Tucson but didn't give much thought to it until I actually saw the restaurant a few months ago while I was at another store in the shopping center. After multiple visits, I can conclude that I enjoy more of their cold sandwiches than their grilled/hot ones. My top three picks in no particular order would be the Baggin's club, high Baggin's, and the chicken rojo. All are different in their own way, but what they do have in common is that they are jam packed with ingredients and bursting in flavor. I haven't tried all their soups and sides yet but from what I've tried so far, I would say the tomato basil bisque has been my favorite. It accompanies well with many sandwiches I've had. The only thing I didn't care for much from here were any of the sandwiches with chicken. Their chicken was a bit too dry for my preferences. So far, I've yet to have a bad experience here. The staff are always warm, friendly, and patient. They try to get your orders out in a timely manner, but they do get busy at times. I said I had an order to pick up, and I was still left locked out until the waitresses served the men, and only then one finally approached the door and let me in. It was very unpleasant being left locked out for a long time and having the men gawking at me and ignoring me at the door with my confirmed order. Food tasted so so. And there was another woman who came around the same time as me who was treated similarly poorly. We were very disappointed.
