    Complimentary Soft Serve

This was our second visit to Hot Chicken Alley, and I honestly can't recommend this place enough. I'm not a huge meat eater, but I do enjoy fried chicken, wings, or the occasional indulgent comfort food. My husband introduced me to this spot, and as an Indian who loves spicy food, I was immediately sold. They keep the menu focused - it's all chicken, but with plenty of options like wings, sliders, sandwiches, and combo meals. The real highlight is their spice level scale: Very Mild, Mild, Hot, Very Hot, and Ridiculous. I usually go for Hot, while my husband takes on Very Hot - and trust me, the heat is no joke, but it's flavourful, not just painful. The combos are generous, with plenty of fries and a drink included. And a fun bonus: they give you a complimentary soft-serve at the end, which honestly feels like a thoughtful touch to calm things down after all that spice. Great food, great service, and a solid concept done really well. We'll definitely be regulars.

Crispy chicken sliders that are so juicy and so flavorful!!! Can pick your own spice level which is perfect. The fries are the best!!! So crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. And their coleslaw is the perfect side. And everyone gets a complimentary soft serve ice cream cone after your meal. A great chicken spot for sure!!! Nicest, friendliest staff!!! Plenty of tables to eat in and can take out as well.

I was in the area and decided to give HCA a try. Quaint and casual spot that seats about The young man at the counter was friendly and helpful. Doing a to-go order. I ordered the hot tender combo and my daughter ordered the slider combo. Combos do not include drinks;only fries. We ate in the car because we had our dog with us. The food was good. Have I had better hot chicken? Yes. Would I go back again? Maybe

Very solid hot chicken option. If this were closer to me, I'd definitely come more often. The slider/tender combo was the best of both worlds.

Been here 4 times with a friend and we will definitely be back. Initially the prices may seem a bit pricy but I find the justification in the quality and care they take in their business. Fantastic fries that beat Red Robin or 5 guys. A sauce you need two of and spice levels that are true to their word. Throw kfc and whatever chicken place you go to and come here.

Delicious! Great service and the best thing is they have nacho cheese as a condiment available without asking Everything was delicious! Loved the Mac and cheese and the seasoning for the chicken! Only suggestion would be to add some of the same seasoning to the fries but that's a personal preference!

Complementary soft, serve ice cream! Yum

This place is in a hard to see location but don't let that fool you food here is good! The service even better! It's a little hidden gem located behind black rock coffee at Tatum & Thunderbird. We were greeted upon walking in by Hudson who went above & beyond to give us the run down on how the chicken is served sliders or tenders & levels of heat. We opted to order the rooster which I recommend it was two generous sliders & an order of the most crispy salty delicious fries. I split this with son we opted to get the lite heat & it had some flavor & kick but not too hot for kids to enjoy. My husband ordered the chill bill hot! His nose was running from the heat lol. So next time he said he will get the lite heat. One of the stand out things to me besides the wonderful employees & service was they have hot cheese sauce for your fries & sauces at no extra charge. We all left very happy & full. They also give you a complimentary soft serve cone which the was perfect ending to our meal. I over indulged but enjoyed it. This place is small but gets busy there was a line almost out the door after 12:45 pm on a Friday afternoon. I'm glad to have given this place a try and support a local place vs. a chain. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Incredible chicken. So juicy and full of flavor! I had to ask the owner if they air fry the chicken because it wasn't greasy or full of breading. She assured me it goes in a deep fryer- you literally would never guess. It's the perfect amount of heat and sweet with the sauce. I am not a coleslaw fan but my husband was like "omg this coleslaw is soooo good" The "slider" is the size of a regular chicken sandwich. We are still full hours later. So happy we stopped by for a quick lunch.

Tender Loving meal with cheese sauce and a soda

I have been meaning to try this place for a while and I stopped by one evening. A large group was inside waiting for their food as well as one or two small groups. One customer was ahead of me so I used their kiosk to order. I got their tender loving meal, which comes with two tenders served on fresh warmed tortillas with pickles, Alley Sauce (honey mustard) and fries. It was easy to order and the owner made sure I had no problems. He also offered me a free drink which was very kind. I made sure to sample their Stubborn sodas (made with cane sugar) and ended up with a mix of their agave vanilla creme soda and their root beer, delicious. Even though the person ahead of me ordered a family meal, my food did not take long to make. While I was waiting, I got some of their cheese sauce to pair with the fries. It comes in a large vat and there are other condiments like ketchup, salt and pepper available. My food was packaged well and I was on my way home to eat it. I had ordered one hot and one x-hot tender and they were labeled with small stickers which I didn't really pay attention to, but was helpful. The tenders were tasty and the x-hot was good but not overly spicy to me. Honestly a nice balance of heat without being overpowering. The fries were plentiful and delicious, and I enjoyed the pickle chips to pair with the chicken. I personally didn't love the tortillas, maybe because I wasn't expecting it, but I'd like to try their sandwich next time instead. I didn't get it this time because it comes with slaw and I'm not a big fan of that. The cheese sauce wasn't what I was expecting either, I was thinking it would be spicy but it was still good. The alley sauce was basically a honey mustard sauce and it was nice, though I probably could've eaten the tenders without any sauce. They were perfectly seasoned and didn't need anything. Overall this was a positive experience and I look forward to coming back again!

It was a decent lunch option. Nothing was wrong with it, but it didn't quite stand out compared to other chicken sandwiches I've had.

You order first and then find a seat, so it's a little bit of a shuffle, but the woman behind the counter was genuinely helpful with recommendations and what's popular. And once we ordered, the food came out pretty fast. We kicked things off with the Big Dill appetizer, and when they say "giant," they're not kidding. It's a comically large pickle, seasoned up and cut into four spears. The seasoning was actually really good, nice flavor, the right amount of spice. I'll be honest: I'm not a huge pickle person, so I didn't fall in love... but if you are a pickle person, this is absolutely your moment. I tried the brunch burrito and it was a solid portion, filling, well-built, and the avocado salsa helped a lot (I was using it like a cheat code). The only reason I wouldn't come back specifically for that burrito is the flavors didn't really pop for me, and I wished the potatoes had more crisp and there was more seasoning on the eggs. It wasn't bad at all just not a "I'm still thinking about this tomorrow" type of burrito. The drinks though? Really unique, I had the French toast latte and the banana hazelnut latte, and they serve them in this super cool commercial can sealer setup. It's such a clever touch as if your coffee came with packaging confidence. Better yet, the lattes were actually delicious and you could taste the quality of the beans underneath the flavors. We also tried the Philly cheesesteak, and it's a BIG sandwich on what tastes like a homemade sesame hoagie. The "shaved ribeye" looked more like finely chopped/ground ribeye, but honestly... it worked. It tasted great with the cheese sauce and hit the spot. The fries that came with it were steak fries, cooked to perfection, with a few extra-crispy pieces mixed in (which is basically the fry jackpot). And then there was the avocado + burrata bagel... which might be the best bagel I've ever had and I don't say that lightly. The everything bagel was fresh, toasted perfectly, and the toppings blended together so well that every bite somehow got better than the last. I also tried the lox and it was worth the money, generous smoked salmon, capers, tomato, the whole deal. Bottom line: there's a lot to love here, and it's going to take me a few more visits to work through all the menu items that look worth trying. Come hungry, expect a line at peak brunch, and don't leave without that avocado burrata bagel (and maybe one of those sealed lattes, because it's just fun).

For our bagel, we ordered an everything bagel with charcuterie cream cheese, which I can best describe as everything but the kitchen sink - capicola, mortadella, salami, provolone, artichokes, tomoatoes, roasted peppers, pepperocini, olives and red onion - all chopped up and mixed into the cream cheese. Somehow it all seems to work in terms of flavor, but as for the bagel itself I wish it were a bit bigger and had more chew, although it was decent. The biggest disappointment was with our cinnamon roll and coffees. They were out of the regular cinnamon roll so we ordered the salted caramel one. The sad part was it was cold. I mean who wants a cold cinnamon roll, even the one at Cinnabon is warm. As for the coffees, we ordered the banana hazelnut and strawberry matcha. We assumed the coffees would be hot but were given iced coffees. Only later we noticed they can be ordered either hot or iced, and wished the server had asked for our preference. As for the iced coffees, I'm not quite sure I understand the whole concept of putting them in soda cans, as the foam got stuck to the top of the can and all the flavor sank down to the bottom.

It has a large and nice outside patio area along with an attractive interior. I ordered the 3 meat Fazzoletti meal for $29. I asked the waiter if it came with any bread and he said he would take care of that for me. He also asked if I wanted some olive oil and vinegar for dipping and I said sure. The meal arrived within 15 minutes with a plate of several toasted bread slices and a plate of oil and vinegar. The ragu meat was covered in a white cream sauce of mozzarella, ricotta and Parmesan. I stated with the cream sauce and was surprised to find it was at room temperature! I called over the waiter and he took it back and a new plate of that entree arrived in about 5 more minutes with an apology from the kitchen. While waiting I enjoyed the bread, oil and vinegar but wondered why did they bring me so much bread? The Fazzoletti was now hot and tasted very good. I enjoyed it with its rich flavor and made with quality ingredients. I can see why The Sicilian Butcher is popular here in Phoenix. When the bill arrived I noticed a $4 charge for the bread and another $1 for the oil and vinegar. I paid it but told the waiter that he should have told me that it would cost extra. Minus 1 star.
