This little place is a hidden gem! My wife had gone here with a friend and raved about it, so I went with her on a weekend and agreed that this place is the bomb. From the outside, the place doesn't look like much, tucked away in a small shopping center. Once inside, there are a plentiful number of tables in the smallish restaurant, which does not feel at all cramped. It is tastefully decorated, and you order at a counter, and they will either call you to get your food or bring it out to you. On the day we were there, the owner was behind the counter and took our order. He asked if we had been there before, and since I had not, he took the time to explain the menu to me. They focus nearly exclusively on chicken tenders, and we opted to share The Three Tenders, which comes with...you guessed it...three chicken tenders (with your choice of heat level), three warmed tortillas, pickles, and alley sauce (the house dipping sauce) on the side. We added sides of French fries and Cole slaw, and the owner gave me a free fountain drink since it was my first time there. So nice! We grabbed a high-top table, and once the food came out, and I bit into the first tender, I knew I was eating the best chicken tenders I have ever eaten. Seriously. These are awesome and at a decent price, too. The tenders are very large and perfectly breaded. The spiciness matches the heat level you choose--not to little and not too much. Okay wow! Hot chicken alley is the perfect spot for hot chicken Sammie's or tendies! It's fast, clean, and simple, just pic your level of HOT! We took the family here last night and it was so good. Everything was cooked to order and delivered fresh. Restaurant including bathroom was clean. Staff is mostly young people, all of whom were attentive, polite, and professional. Manager or owner was present and was friendly and clearly motivated in running a high-quality establishment. I split this with son we opted to get the lite heat & it had some flavor & kick but not too hot for kids to enjoy. My husband ordered the chill bill hot! His nose was running from the heat lol. Incredible chicken. So juicy and full of flavor! I had to ask the owner if they air fry the chicken because it wasn't greasy or full of breading. I have been meaning to try this place for a while and I stopped by one evening. A large group was inside waiting for their food as well as one or two small groups. One customer was ahead of me so I used their kiosk to order. I got their tender loving meal, which comes with two tenders served on fresh warmed tortillas with pickles, Alley Sauce (honey mustard) and fries. It was easy to order and the owner made sure I had no problems. He also offered me a free drink which was very kind. I made sure to sample their Stubborn sodas (made with cane sugar) and ended up with a mix of their agave vanilla creme soda and their root beer, delicious. Even though the person ahead of me ordered a family meal, my food did not take long to make. While I was waiting, I got some of their cheese sauce to pair with the fries. It comes in a large vat and there are other condiments like ketchup, salt and pepper available. My food was packaged well and I was on my way home to eat it. I had ordered one hot and one x-hot tender and they were labeled with small stickers which I didn't really pay attention to, but was helpful. The tenders were tasty and the x-hot was good but not overly spicy to me. Honestly a nice balance of heat without being overpowering. The fries were plentiful and delicious, and I enjoyed the pickle chips to pair with the chicken. I personally didn't love the tortillas, maybe because I wasn't expecting it, but I'd like to try their sandwich next time instead. I didn't get it this time because it comes with slaw and I'm not a big fan of that. The cheese sauce wasn't what I was expecting either, I was thinking it would be spicy but it was still good.
