Went this past Friday evening (May 19) with some friends. While it was really busy, our server, Sydney K, was very pleasant and kind. She made sure our drinks were all refilled. My food wasn't as good as I thought it would be. I asked for my steak to be medium rare and it was more medium well. My carrots were crunchy and not the sweet soft carrots that I was expecting. The broccoli was actually really good though. I had trouble finding an allergen menu online. They had gluten but that was about it. It was disappointing to say the least.

My husband and I haven't had Cheddar's in a while so we decided to stop in for lunch. We were seated right away. Our waitress was very nice. I ordered a sweet tea and my husband got a coke. The sweet tea was really good! They do give you free rolls with this honey glaze. ( They were very good! Who doesn't like free bread? lol). We did order the queso and salsa. The salsa was sweet and was yummy! The queso was good also. I got the chicken tenders with fries and broccoli cheddar rice. My husband got the buffalo chicken wrap with fries. The wrap was chicken tenders rolled in buffalo sauce. The wraps were open on both ends, but he enjoyed it! I really liked my meal. Overall we enjoyed our dinning experience. We will definitely come back!

The first time I experienced the Cheddar's brand was in Winston Salem, NC and I absolutely loved it so finding this gem in Tennessee was like winning the lottery. Truthfully if I would have found it on my first day I would of ate there everyday. I love the food selections and have tried many of them over time. This visit definitely didn't disappoint at all. Staff was friendly and food was awesome. The honey butter croissants were to die for. We had the Wisconsin cheese bites for an appetizer. Our entrees were Grilled Shrimp Alfredo with a side of salmon which came on a bed of rice and bacon cheeseburger with fries. The food was soooo good. No complaints this way!

We came on a very busy Saturday night (weekend of Dogwood Festival, theatre night, and prom night)…read more Thankful to have a reservation, we were promptly seated while others with no reservation were being told three hour wait times. I loved the vibe of Tupelo, the hanging lush green plants on the side of the bustling kitchen, the cheerful staff and the lively music. Lizette was our server and she was just a darling. It was our first time here, and she was so helpful with her all of her recommendations. One of Lizette's favorites was the "Peach, don't kill my vibe" sangria. Which I just loved. I nice mix of peach and pineapple in a sangria. For our mains, we had the grilled harvest chicken and the chicken tenders. Both mains came with two sides. With my grilled harvest chicken, I got the mashed potatoes and the braised bacon green beans. The green beans were to die for, even my hubby was saying he should've ordered that as his side. The harvest chicken I loved--especially the sautéed spinach, red peppers and tomatoes on top. But if you can't handle spicy, this dish does have some heat to it. And we ended my birthday celebration with the heavenly banana pudding. It was heavenly in every way. Made in house, and so delicious that even my hubby ate it and he never cares for this dessert. If I could've licked that little bowl, I would've. We already cannot wait to come back and try some of the brunch items on their menu. We loved everything about Tupelo and hats off to Lizette for making our night even more special!!

It will remain a favorite place when we're in Tennessee.

Were they really shine however is their brunch. They have all sorts of biscuit combinations with wonderful toppings like fried Green tomatoes, eggs, biscuits and gravy, shrimp, crab cake, you get the idea. They also have a full bar and a good beer tap selection. Service is fantastic and if you become a regular they'll know you by name and what you drink. This is a great spot for crunch game day whatever. One thing I want to mention also is there fantastic happy hour it is Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and they offer $3 sliders, french fry specials, chicken wing specials, and a special of the week. They also have specials on well drinks and draft beer you really can't go wrong for an after work snack and around to drinks over here. one thing to note is that they do take reservations throughout the week, but they do not take reservations for brunch. So if you want to get brunch especially on a game day, make sure you show up about 10 minutes before the doors open which is 11:00 a.m. get a seat at the bar and watch one of the two big screen TVs and I'm sure they will take care of you.

We stepped inside, and we were kindly greeted by the hostess. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and had a warm feel. The bar in the corner was both beautiful and extremely well stocked. J greeted us promptly at our table and gave us a thorough walk through of the menu. The offerings were creative and well thought out. We ordered the pimento cheese and grit chips appetizer. A great suggestion from J. It was surprisingly flavorful and super well balanced. I knew at that point, we were in for a treat. Even the iced tea was out of this world. My wife thought it was perhaps the best tea she had ever tasted. My bride ordered the Chicken Spiedie with fries and I did the beef and cheddar with onion rings. The beef and cheddar was absolutely delicious. It was piled high with juicy smoked brisket, smoked cheddar, blackberry bbq sauce and pickles. The order of onion rings and fries were more than enough to share. They were also just fabulous. I have a feeling, everything on the menu is delicious. We finished things off with the Mama's Brownies. Just bonkers. That is all I have to say: Warm cookie dough layered with a vanilla cheesecake center topped with vanilla bean ice cream with a caramel and fudge drizzle. It was an outstanding suggestion. The food was excellent. The service was top notch (thank you J). I plan on spending a significant amount of time here trying everything on the menu. Do yourself a favor and head over for dinner tonight. You can thank me later.

We had been meaning to try Humble Hog as I'm a huge fan of smoked bologna so I was disappointed to find that is only served at lunch. Our server was attentive and super sweet. She made some solid recommendations and we took her up on them. We opted instead for a few small plates and my wife and I shared the brisket. We opened with lobster hush puppies and burnt ends. The burnt ends were terrific, well seasoned, wonderfully smoked and a fair portion size. The hush puppies lacked lobster but were still tasty and cooked made to order. From there we indulged in the chipotle smoke Mac and cheese, brisket and corn pone. The brisket was terrific and tender and well smoked, the Mac and cheese was SUPERB and definitely had a spicy little kick but the corn pone was awful. I understand that it's essentially cornbread pancakes but there was zero flavor and they were almost cold. I was looking forward to these because you don't see them on the menu many places abut they were not good. Cornbread served like this should be made to order and served hot and fresh. We finished with the banana pudding which was excellent and I think the finish the top with marshmallow fluff that they torch to give it a smoky taste. So when you head down to humble hog go at lunch and try the bologna, I bet it's amazing...and skip the corn pone.
