One of my all-time favorite restaurant chains is Chili's. So many memories from childhood, my teenage years, and adulthood. Now it's finally time to officially review my favorite chain restaurant! Address: 204 Hamilton Crossing Dr. Alcoa, TN 37701 Food: 4/5 The presentation always delivers and gets me excited to eat. The Triple Dipper is definitely one of the most popular menu items in the chain restaurant game. There are so many combinations, but my go-to Triple Dipper includes the Big Mouth Bites, Honey Chipotle Chicken Crispers, and Southwestern Egg Rolls. The Big Mouth Bites are always perfect, and I've never had a bad experience with them. The egg roll filling is delicious, but they do need to be crispier because all great egg rolls should have that satisfying crunch. The Honey Chipotle flavor tastes great, and the chicken was cooked very well. I still need the Original Chicken Tenders back because they will always be far superior. Lastly, the Chips and Salsa are always going to be a 10/10! ‍ Service: 6/5 We got there right when the doors opened, and they sat us immediately with fast and friendly service. Cheryl was our waitress, and she was wonderful. She went above and beyond what you normally expect from a server. She was very attentive and always prepared for anything I asked for. Our entire lunch experience only lasted about 35 minutes, which is perfect for an hour lunch break if you're close enough to the office. Atmosphere: 5/5 The atmosphere was quiet today since we arrived right when they opened. However, even when it's crowded, the atmosphere is still great. Value: 5/5 The portion sizes matched the price perfectly. Final Thoughts Chili's in Alcoa, Tennessee, was a great experience with good food and outstanding service. My wife and I took my mother in-law here to eat tonight and it was great! The service was excellent and food was served hot and fresh. The restaurant is family friendly with booths and tables. Thank you Chili's for being so kind to my family as we were going to be seated at a table but was seated in a booth upon request do to the comfort of my mother-in-law. The worker Noah, he was the food runner, he was extremely rude when I asked for an extra sauce, and this isn't the first time something like this has happened. I have to say, although they continually take the best things off the menu, you just can't beat their burger. It's hands down my favorite! Also love the southwestern egg rolls and their chips and salsa. There fajitas are ok but they could up the marinade on them! Not as good as the burgers though! read more

Wife and I went out here last week. I got salmon with the new garlic mushrooms and asparagus. She got Ribeye with fries. She was happy with her meal. My mushrooms were looked like they came from a can and tasted the same. They changed them and brought me the street corn. It was ok. Then I take a bite of the salmon and it was tough. I asked about switching it and the waitress was nice about it. She was a hero that night and gave me nice options. Overall, I probably won't be back at this location due to the food, at least for a while. read more

This place needs to be shut down. The building is in need of repair, the walls are coming apart near the bathrooms. This location used to have some atmosphere, but no more. Bartender was letting a customer sit at the bar and spit Skoal in a cup while others were trying to eat. Food was very bland and mushy. Margaritas aren't worth buying anymore. Will never go back and would not recommend. It is a disgrace to have this place in Alcoa. read more

Ate here last night with the husband for our 15th wedding anniversary. Service was fast and our waitress was a sweetheart and was amazing. Food came out fast and was hot and tasty. The shrimp fajitas were so good and had a bunch of shrimp on them as they did not skimp there at all. We will be back soon for some more of those delicious cheesy fried mozzarella that were huge as crap! read more

It's a long time since eating at Chilies. The burger was really good and cooked perfectly. "Spicy" shrimp tacos, not so much. No spice, or heat at all and the shrimp was overcooked. They looked really good though. I still think they could turn down the volume on the music just a tad as it makes it difficult to hear others. read more

I'm pretty sure they'll blame on lack of staff but there is no excuse for cold food!!!! Both mine and my husband's meals were cold. He ordered chicken and waffles and I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta. We sent them back the first time but when they brought out new and they were cold we just did box them up and I'll heat them up at home where at least I know it's not getting nuked. My son had to eat by himself since his chicken quesadillas were the only thing hot. The only bright spot of the visit was our server. On arrival at Chili's we informed the hostess that there would be 6 and a high chair. She takes us to a table that accommodates 6. Three on either side but only 4 chairs which she promptly gets from a table where a lady is eating with her child. She goes to get a high chair and returns to place it between two chairs on the long side of the table where we had placed the chair because we wanted the high chair on the end. We asked why the high chair had to be on the long side of the table and she says this is what she has been told. She then puts one of the chair that she placed back to the table where it came from . We told her we needed that chair and she moves the one from the end over beside the high chair at which point I say we needed the other chair as well. She huffs but gets the chair back from the table next to us and as she is doing that my husband says "She hasn't got it. Meaning she doesn't understand what we are saying. To which she respond "Sir you haven't got it"! Not a good start to our meal. I have to say that our waiter was really nice and well mannered as well as attentive. I give him 5 stars. We went here several months ago and we thought it was great. Good food, good service. Something's gone wrong though. We were there very recently and, although the service was fairly prompt, the food was poor. My wife's chicken dish was under cooked while my Cajun chicken pasta was so salty I could choke down only a third of it. When I told the waitress, her reaction was "sorry" and that was it. She seemed a lot more interested in getting us to pay up and get out. Adding a little insult to injury, I paid in cash and got 23 $1 bills in change. Nice. Scratching this place off our list. I used to like them. We ordered chips and salsa delivered to our home. Two bags and salsa. They sent the chips but NO SALSA. I called the store and they wouldn't even fix the problem. This is the worst experience I've ever had at this restaurant I used to love the place but they have gone rapidly down hill. I got a fly in my salad and I could tell that there was something off about my meal. When I got home I got the worst food poisoning on this planet. Everytime I come here it takes us 5 minutes or more to even be seated, everyone walks around staring at you while you stand at the host desk not offering to help you be seated. When we do get seated after 10 minutes we get our drink AFTER we get our appetizers! Majority of the waitresses here act so careless it's ridiculous! I used to come here 3-4 times a week a year ago. After waiting about 10 minutes for the to go gurl to get off the phone I showed her my text and she said the bartender had to do it. First, let me say that we have been huge fans of Chili's restaurants, in several states, for over 30 years. Our experience on June 7, 2022 at this location in Alcoa, TN was unbelievable. We arrived for lunch and were seated at a table that was in a dark corner with a 1/2 booth and 2 chairs configuration. The place only had a few other patrons in the eating area. We then ordered frozen margaritas and were told they didn't have them, so we had to settle for on the rocks. It later slipped out that their frozen margarita had been broken for some time. We ordered two Old Timer burgers with cheese and one also with their signature chili. The food came and the chili looked like a firm patty of dog poop laying on top of the burger and it was cold. Both burgers were heavily charred on the bottom, leaving them "crunchy". The chili cheese burger was replaced with with a plain cheese burger. The burger was also charred and crunchy. The waitress knew that their chili was disgusting but assumed that we knew it also. The manager found the whole thing to be funny and offered no compensation on the bill. I called around 1215 to reserve a table big enough for a party of 9 and told whomever I spoke to that we would be there in 30 minutes so we wouldn't have to wait as long and this is also a courtesy since we had a large party, when we started to arrive around 1245 some of our party showed up about 5 minutes later we checked in at that time with the hostess and then stilled waited almost 40 minutes and we had two people with brittle diabetes and their levels was starting to go under 80 and my wife went to the hostess and asked how much longer until we was seated, was then told it wouldn't be much longer and this person was kinda rude, then another 10 minutes went by, and was finally seated. Our server was polite and then we ordered our food and some started to arrive, my salad, and a soup and then 30 minutes two plates started to arrive, and 15 minutes later some more, and our final plates arrived after that, we never saw a manger to ask how was everything, it wasn't the servers fault it was whomever running the kitchen was the fault. I have had some issues with Chili's Restaurants before with terrible service in wait times. It will be a long time before I return. read more

Not very impressed. The food was pretty good, but the service wasn't fantastic. I went with my parents and my father and I both ran out of soda, so we patiently waited. Then tried to flag our waitress down, and that didn't even work because she practically ignored us. About 20 minutes later, she finally returned with our refills. We were told to pay on the little kiosk on the table, but we wanted to pay in cash. We explained this to her and she just looked at us like she didn't know what cash was. She finally told us to look up our ticket on the kiosk and put the money on the table. We did so and she came by and took the money and told us to have a nice night. Mrs. M, the M daughters and I visited this Chili's location tonight. I'll say first we all like Chili's. I'll say next the food was properly cooked and tasted good. For all of that, the service at this joint just seems to be third rate at best. The place was not busy yet we waited and waited to have our order taken. I will not be going back. I have eaten here a few times with friends and family. The first few times were pretty good, the last time made me decide never to go back. The customer service is horrible. Wether it's busy or the place is empty, they are extremely slow. The food is just meh. I ordered potato skins as an appetizer. They were all different sizes, greasy, and tasted awful. The waiter put the plate down on the table, then pulled his hand back. His hand was covered in cheese and grease. I also ordered a chicken sandwich with mashed potatoes. The honey mustard did not taste like honey mustard, it was bitter and just didn't seem right. I did not eat more than a bite of the mashed potatoes, they tasted awful and were under seasoned.
