We come to Cheddars because we can count on consistently good food and good prices. Yeah service wasn't bad the atmosphere is nice & causal, good for large groups or smaller. But the food is where it's at, our go to is starting with the spinach dip, the monte cristo and Dijon chicken .

Came here for lunch after shopping in the area. We were greeted as soon as we entered red and were shown to a table. The restaurant was nice and clean and our waitress was friendly. The service was pretty quick and I think the prices were very reasonable. I got the Caesar pasta salad which I thought was a unique twist on a regular Caesar salad. The menu was pretty big with a wide variety of options. I would describe this place as being like a Chili's or TGIF but with a bit of a southern twist. They had things like fried Shrimp and rice and beans. Overall, it was nothing super amazing but if you're in the area and looking for a cheaper sit down place to go, this is a good option.

I like this chain restaurant a lot, and can't understand why there aren't more in the valley. I can't speak for other locations, but this one is very pretty, with gorgeous brickwork, lots of plants, a built in aquarium, and a super cool overhead fan. This place does serve alcohol. The menu has a lot of different options of standard American food. There is also a nice cocktail menu. The real surprise are the prices, which are pretty darn good. We ordered: *Cajun Chicken Bowl *Homemade Chicken Pot Pie with Caesar salad *Philly Cheesesteak with fries *Grilled Whitefish with Broccoli Cheese Casserole and Coleslaw We all liked our meals, although hubby said that even though his Cajun Chicken Bowl was good, it want very "Cajun." The salad that came with my pot pie was huge--wayyy bigger than a regular side salad and the Caesar dressing was sooo good. My pot pie was a little runny, but it didn't matter to me because it tasted good. Affordable, good food in a nice atmosphere with good service.

Food - The ribs were tender and moist. They were fall off the bone good. They had good flavor. I wasn't too much of a fan of the corn. It tasted so plain. The honey butter croissants that come complimentary at the beginning of the meal were delicious. The fries and chicken fingers were alright. Atmosphere - No strange or strong odors or smells. No music playing when I visited. I liked that. I prefer no music over loud music. I don't like loud music. It's hard to hear with loud music. I did not visit the restroom. Pleasant temperature inside. I have been to some places where it's been hot or cold. Quite a few other customers were inside when I visited. Seemed like a popular place. I liked the mood lighting. Service - Sit down style. Order and pay at the table. No self seating. Staff seemed busy with so many customers. Parking - Surface parking lot. No parking meter or parking structures or solar panels. Unique - Fish tank aquarium in the lobby. Mood lighting. Did not see a health rating on Yelp.

Wow! I've been going to outback with my father every Sunday for I don't know how many years. We stopped going just because of the price gouging. First off, I just wanted to say thanks to cheddars for keeping reasonable prices. I had never been in there before, passed by a few times for some reason I thought it was a breakfast place. I was going to come in tonight, but then I realized it was Monday night football. So I decided to take advantage of their delivery option. I am just amazed. The steak was thick and tasty. The baked potato was great. Not sure if it was supposed to come with sour cream and butter, but neither of them were there. It's fine. I had butter. The corn was tasty as well. The complementary sweet croissant was just an added bonus. Nice touch. I never plan on going to outback again. I am now a repeat customer of cheddars. Thank you guys!

Cheddars has some of the best prices in town for large portions of yummy, home cooked, scratch kitchen food! For starters they give you a honey buttered croissant...now that's how you start a meal! We sat at the bar and had a great view of the water tank, it was very clean and had beautiful, lively, fish. For lunch we ordered the country fried chicken and half rack ribs with chicken tenders. The country fried chicken is served with your choice of white or brown gravy and both dishes are served with your choice of two sides. They were both really good, great flavors and the ribs were fall off the bone tender. However, the chicken tenders were cold and the chicken was very dry, they kinda seemed like an afterthought. Our sides were mash potatoes, side salad, buttered corn. I definitely recommend Cheddar's and we will be back to enjoy more!!

Went here on Valentine's day with my boyfriend and we didn't have the best experience. I thought my food was yummy but I went the safe route with chicken tenders and fries. My boyfriend's steak was very overcooked and we waited such a long time for our food. Our server ended up comping our meal. The restaurant was very nice looking on the inside and it has a lot or potential.

Hubby & I had dinner here last night. We were seated right away. They have lots of bench seating that provide privacy. It took a few minutes for our server to come to us, but not horrible. We ordered a beer & sangria. We also ordered cheese curds at this time. Our cheese curds came out sup fast. They were out before the drinks. Hubby ordered the chicken strip with honey hot sauce on them with a side salad & fries. I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and a side salad. I asked for the brown gravy on the side. She also brought out a croissant with honey butter for each of us. It was a ton of food. We had 5 takeout containers to take home. All the food came out sup fast. Each thing came out before we were done with the last. The service was okay. She checked on us a couple of times. We did have to wait on water refills & drink refills. I didn't love the sangria. There was a different taste to it, but we couldn't place it. The cheese curds were good, but greasy. The ranch was really good. The side salads were huge & good. We had ranch dressing. Hubby liked his chicken strips, but said he would get them plain next time. He likes spicy. He said the honey hot was really spicy which is not normal for him. Most hot isn't hot for him. I didn't like my chicken fried steak. The cube steak was really thick. The breading fell off when I cut into it. The breading tasted greasy. The Texas toast was good. The potatoes were fine, but the ratio of potatoes to steak was off. The gravy was good. Hubby didn't like the honey butter on the croissant. I had a couple of bites of mine & liked it. Our kids ate our leftovers. Our son also didn't like the honey butter, but our daughter did. We will probably go back, but I won't get the chicken fried steak again.

Waited about 30 minutes for a table on Valentine's Day which was great for us cause most places have 1 hour+ wait. The service was amazing, Amber was so nice. The food was good too, it really tastes like homestyle cooking. Fresh ingredients, seasoned well and cooked perfectly. We'll definitely be back because there was more on the menu we would like to try! LOVED THE HONEY BUTTER CROISSANTS TOO

If I want to have a birthday dinner with a large group, do I have to call ahead or I can just walk in?

I suggest calling ahead regardless. They might still be limiting large groups.

Do you need reservations for lunch?

We do not accept call-ahead reservations at any time in any of our restaurants. Great question - thanks for asking!

Monte Cristo was recommended. I'd love opinion of how it ranks. I'm looking at over an hour drive, so I wanna know if it's worth it. Been craving MC, but how does it stack up?

I enjoyed it, but it as my 1st ever MC. Maybe not worth an hr drive......

Tina brought all the vibes, she was so welcoming with a huge smile. I immediately liked the place. Each person in our group ordered something different. I shared the shrimp and swai fish meal with my daughter because the portions are huge. The batter was crispy, reminding me of how my southern grandma used to fry hers. I have no clue how they get it so crispy without any grease! It was so tender, and the flavors were definitely there. We also enjoyed the fries and the coleslaw and both were delicious! I really like the seasonings they use. The best part was that after finishing, we didn't feel that "heaviness" you sometimes get from fried food, because you know we were talking about that too. We also really enjoyed the banana pudding! Also the music was on point, we were singing the whole time we ate. Food- Was a Solid 4.5 Service - on a scale of 1-5 it was a 10!! lol Even though it's a 35-minute drive for us, we will definitely be back. Thank you for the kindness and the delicious food!

We tried one of their house steam pot specialties and a seafood tower. I had ice tea and wife ordered the blood orange jenny drink; both were great and refreshing! I also ordered a loaf of their warmed sourdough and butter to share with the table. Almost like being in San Francisco! For dinner we decided to share a couple of things; the crab cakes, which comes with fried avocado and some of the best aioli for dipping. The cakes themselves are big and full of crab with just the right amount of filling to create a decadent and moist cake! We also shared the seared jumbo scallops...High Tides knows how to cook scallops to the best! So yummy and tender and perfectly cooked with that crispy outer and the soft, creamy inside. We also shared a Caesar salad and one of the things we love about this place...ask and you can get some fresh anchovy on the side to add to the salad. Wife always asks for more lemon as well to drizzle over the salad. Overall a fantastic dinner for us and everyone with us!
