We visited Cheddar's scratch kitchen on Saturday evening and we were greeted very well and seated the host was very nice,we ordered the spinach dip and ordered our entree's we had the grilled tilapia it had tasty shrimp on top with this delicious sauce on it over a bed of rice we both had green beans and mashed potatoes with bacon on top it was delicious but our adult beverages were no good I had Tito's and cranberry juice he wanted Captain Morgan and coke our waitress brought it back it was horrible as a matter of fact both were we sent it back we got cake to go service was great and the place was wonderful we loved it and the Bartender need to get the two drinks together and that's all.... read more

The white fish was seared and seasoned perfectly, and the veggies were also well-seasoned. My server was kind, quick, and friendly, providing great service. However, my experience was marred by the overwhelming smell in the bathroom. It was so bad that it nearly ruined my meal. I noticed one of the stalls had a sign, which led me to believe there was an issue with the plumbing. The stench was so strong it made my skin crawl. If this problem isn't addressed, I don't think I'll be able to stomach returning. Y'all need to do something! read more

Cassandra McKesson the general manager needs to be fired and criminally charged. A string of vehicles including my family members was broken into on the property. Firstly, the parking lot was extremely dark almost no lights in the parking lot. Antiqua the restaurant manager informed us that construction hit a line that caused all of the lights to be out in the parking lot. When the cars were vandalized it was a customer who informed us that cars was vandalized. Never once did the manager or general manager inform customers that cars were broken into and to check on their vehicles. Cassandra the general manager poorly handled the situation. She had an attitude and very rude to upset customer who car had been vandalized. She refused to give the district managers name. When police arrived and asked to see the video footage of the parking lot she literally clocked out and went home. ( I wish I was making this part up) she was telling everyone that she was waiting on the police to arrive to show them the footage. Then when the police arrived she is no where to be found. Her own staff informed us that she had left for the day. That was extremely suspicious behavior for a general manager. Her own staff cars were also vandalized and they reported that her boyfriend had been in the restaurant all day just hanging around. I whole heartily believe that Cassandra and her boyfriend was involved the cars being broke into. Then to disappear when the police arrive and need to see the parking lot footage that affects your employees too. read more

The food was great, the service here is very good, and the style of the restaurant is incredible, very fancy. I would recommend this place to my family and friends to visit if they haven't tried it out yet. read more

It's no surprise that this is another clapped out restaurant in Memphis, TN. that use to be really good. Not sure who's managing this store, but for starters we walked in at 7:30pm and the young host guy didn't have any indication that he worked there (no uniform or anything, just plain clothes) and we were told it would be a 20-30 min wait (yet there was plenty of empty tables and it wasn't busy at all) after waiting and coming back in, we were finally seated. We got served some cold and stale croissant rolls, the appetizer then came out (cheese curds) they were extremely greasy that napkins couldn't even soak the grease up, food was mediocre at best (you could tell everything wasn't fresh) the drinks were very weak and beer tap was basically flat. Waitress was nice but you could tell she didn't care much for her job. $70.00 for 2 people, it just wasn't worth it. Will not visit this place again. read more

January 10,2020 we were seated in less than a minute,but it took a while for our waiter to arrive. Dennis, like Dennis the menace (his words) was our waiter. He had a great attitude the entire visit and took our orders all at one time. We ordered spinach dip, fish and fries, steak, mashed potatoes ( they were out of baked potatoes), rice, and mini raspberry chocolate cake. The dinner portion of the fish and fries is alot of food and well I didn't know exactly what to expect since it was my first time ordering it. It came out hot, the fries are just ok, the slaw could be better, but overall I enjoyed my meal. The steak looked good and my guest at everything on the plate, so I'd say the meal was enjoyable as well. The spinach dip was good,but I liked the salsa more than the dip. Now the mini cake was just the right size and wasn't overly sweet. I ate the cake before I could get a picture..sorry next time I will do better. Dennis was awesome and if he's there on my next visit I will ask to be seated in his area. Even my friend commented on his positive attitude. The wait time was super long. So I chose to eat at the bar. The bartender (alone), was making alcohol drinks for the entire restaurant, plus serving those sitting around the bar and dealing with takeout order questions. So that gives you the insight about the level of service. The glazed croissants were luke warm at best. But again I mentioned the level of service. The food was okay. Nothing was wrong, but it was definitely not the best I had and definitely not the best Cheddars I have had. read more

I had drinks with a friend at Cheddar's bar, AMAZING! Our bar tender was on POINT! Super attentive and she is an amazing talent. Our drinks were super strong and tasty. We only had bar food (chips and meat queso) but it was super tasty. I had the painkiller and the island tiki, they were sweet and full of rum. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean when I used them too, which is a big plus. Overall I had a very pleasant experience hanging with my friend at Cheddar's. read more

Cheddar's has been and will continue to be my favorite American chain restaurant. Portions are always massive and reasonably priced. Today I got the New Orleans pasta and the chicken and shrimp platter. The chicken was super crispy and delicious. There was sooo much pasta and items inside. Chicken, shrimp, peppers, sausage... everything was great. My only critique is that the sauce was too salty. My family also got the salsa and cheese appetizer and it waitress came with the complementary butter croissants! These croissants are soooo delicious. I don't know what kind of sauce they pour on them but its just incredible. The restaurant was very busy on a Friday night. My family of 5 luckily got a table immediately. My waitress was nice but kept forgetting some stuff. We didn't get utensils a while until our food came out and our side of fries came out when we were almost done with our entree. read more

Absolutely horrible. Visited on Labor Day and although there was almost no one there, waited 20 minutes to be seated. After being seated, we got our drinks and put an order in for free chips & queso, which was stale and gross. Our drinks (mine was alcoholic, my wife's was not) were absolutely underwhelming. My sangria frozen margarita wasn't even frozen and tasted like 95% sangria. My wife's lemonade was warm and tasted like they dumped sugar into the glass. Then, finally, our appetizer comes. The stale, salty chips plus the queso was our waitress' queue to not come back for 15-20 minutes. By the time she finally came back, we were so fed up with the experience of not even being glanced at for the past 20 minutes that we just wanted to leave. We asked for the check and were responded to with "cool." Terrible experience. Terrible waitress. Terrible drinks. Terrible, terrible, terrible. Do NOT go to this location. read more

The food was good we got the trio sampler and it was the first time we were told we could get the tenders dipped in a variety of sauces. 2 of us got the salmon which was cooked perfectly and my other daughter got the lemon chicken which looked great and she said also tasted great. Now to the reason for the 5 stars our server Diamond, she was absolutely awesome, she was super attentive, very personable and had a great smile and attitude. This Cheddars always has a wait. 75% of the restaurants empty right now and there's still a 30 minute wait. We came here 3 times now. The last two times we came here there was a 1 hour and a 2 hour wait and we asked why and they said the servers don't show up for work. The management needs to fix this problem it's been too long with the same problem. I really wanted to come to this place for the longest. So when I was able to finally make it here, I was very excited , to say the least! We waited 15 minutes for seating (understandable on a Sunday evening and COVID). We got called and the host misspelled our name so I just checked to see if she meant my name and indeed she did, she said her pen stopped working in the middle of writing the name. Ok no problem. So we are taken back to our table and.... it was trash everywhere, floor / table / seat. So the lady apologized and wiped down the table and swept while we stood there (that's fine). Ok so I didn't really trust the "disinfectant job" so I went to the restroom and soaked some soap and water on some paper towels and wiped the table down plus the seats. Then I remembered I had my own sanitizer (can never be too careful) and I sanitized the table and seats myself after washing them with soap and water. The server came soon after (about 2 minutes.. so pretty quickly) and asked for our drinks and if we are ready to order. I told him what I wanted and my hubby did the same. 5 minutes later, the server arrives again with the appetizer but no drinks (he forgot so he went back to get them). 10 minutes later our food arrives and I ask for ranch. 5 minutes later no ranch. We also realized no straws nor any ketchup was present. So we asked the nearest waitress if we can get straws, ranch and ketchup. She said ok. 5 minutes later .. nothing We flag down a manager to ask for straws, ranch and ketchup. She said okay. 5 minutes later nothing, not even the original server. Nor the server we flagged down. So we flag down another server and ask for a straw from the bazillion she had in her apron. She said sure! We then asked for ranch and ketchup she said ok. So .... 5 minutes later ... NOTHING .. hey at this point atleast we have a straw! So another server comes out and hands us the ketchup and ranch but makes sure we know she is not our server. (Ok thank you, I'm glad she brought it out) 2 minutes later our server arrives from the deeeeep abyss and brings us ketchup and ranch. (Did thank you so kindly) 5 minutes later I'm eating and cutting my burger into quarters. Needing more drink and food hanging out my mouth ... Our server comes by and asks in ONE breath: not about if we need more drink but... How is everything, would you like a to-go box?, I'll bring your check... Ummmm.. sir I'm STILL eating!! (I didn't say this my husband just chuckled and said ok) 2 minutes later the server comes back with a check. I politely took my time eating... and lo and behold .. our server comes back within 2 more minutes to say ok you need a little more time?! (Yes Biatch I do!) So I continue eating and he comes again and checks and leaves when he sees the check hasn't been touched. 10 minutes later I FINALLY finish... my husband and I discuss the tip or lack thereof that is needed. Actually I think I needed Cheddar's to pay me for eating there and give me a refund for the horrible service! However the food was great! Fries cold because I had to wait for condiments. So we did tip but NOT for the service (let's get that clear) it was for the food. I like going to Cheddars but today was super busy and the staff wasn't shy about letting us know. As I was waiting to be seated, there was a waitress at the door saying, "Thank god I'm going home!" in reference to the amount of people coming in. Not very welcoming. Thankfully, the food was delicious and the drink was good... all was going well until I ordered a dessert for my husband. I got it to go and I was going to bring it to him as a treat and they gave me... A congealed mess of overcooked apples. They threw it in the container and just brought it to me. It looked like it had been out since lunch and it was after 5:30 when I ordered it. I've been avoiding the long lines after opening but recently have become hooked on their good food, atmosphere and low prices Great place to wait while getting a Toyota fixed or for early lunch before the crowd comes. The only casualty was the huge stack of onion rings. They are made in house but hit the floor on the way to our table. The replacement was devoured like a gator with a chicken! I love the southern fried chicken, slow cooked Italian green beans and mashed potatoes. We shared an apple pie made fresh daily with Granny Smith apples. Came here tonight (March 14) with family for dinner and it was a less than stellar experience. Cheddar's sucked in Houston as I remember and they still do. I ordered the blackened salmon, corn, and fries. The fries were soggy and cold when they came out, the salmon was definitely over cooked, and I had to drown it out with tarter sauce. My mom ordered the half rack of ribs w/shrimp, steamed broccoli, and a loaded baked potato. The waitress forgot the broccoli the 2X we mentioned it to her but finally brought it out. My dad ordered the meatloaf, green beans, and potatoes and they gave him chopped hamburger steak... I kid you not, lol! The "meatloaf" was TERRIBLE. They even had the audacity to serve it with a bourbon sauce and not the traditional tomato sauce that it is made with. When my dad spoke with the manager he had the nerve to want to argue and say that is the right way a meatloaf is made! It is baked and then grilled. Like what?! He said the recipe comes from corporate and they just follow it. WHAT A JOKE to argue with a customer over a tired "meatloaf"! The only thing that was good was the strawberry lemonade I ordered. The only reason this place doesn't get 5 STARS is because the place is filthy. The bathroom is a complete mess. There is food and trash all over the floors. Employees and Management walk right by the filth and NO one bothers to stop and clean up. Owners, in most cases, put everything they have into their businesses, they trust that investment to the people they hire and provide jobs to. They hope the people they have hired will return that goodness by providing a great overall dining experience to their customers. Unfortunately, that is not the case here. The ONLY saving grace for the place is the Food!!! The food is very good. It's Made fresh, served quickly and reasonably priced, having said that, the food quality alone will not save a decline in business which is inevitably going to happen unless they make systematic changes to their Operations and staffing. The ribeye was just ok.. I've had better. The broccoli casserole was delish.. the baked potato was just a baked potato! This restaurant is near my parents church, so we decided to try it after church one Sunday. There was not a very long wait and they were able to seat our large group. On the way to the table I noticed the uncleanliness of the restaurant. They could definitely do a better job of cleaning it. I honestly didn't think there were a lot of options to choose from. It reminded me of an Applebees or Chilis with a smaller menu. The food was just average to me. Our service was average as well. I am probably not going to be in any hurry to return. read more

Gabby was not the best server. First we sat at the bar and she came to talk to the bartender and she was boosting about how she was "checking" her customers. It's one thing to do it with your coworkers, but to do it in front of your customers is unprofessional. Had lunch with my son here today. A party of five, three adults and two ( 8-12 years old ?? ) kids were ahead of us. They had to wait for a table to be cleaned. Then we had to wait for a table to be cleaned. Short waits, but why not clean them as they become open? I was concerned we would have slow service. I was wrong. I had the Crispy Chicken Tender Salad with blue cheese dressing. My son had a burger with a side salad. The food was good and the service an appropriate speed. My husband and I came specially for the cornmeal white fish and they were totally out. The just time we were here, my daughter and son-in-love ordered it and we tried theirs. That was when we came at 9pm. Today we arrived at 6 and they were practically out of everything. We settled for the bourbon glazed salmon.
