They have wonderful honey butter croissants. The waitress we had was very nice and polite. I ordered chicken fried chicken, which is hard to find sometimes. It was great. Their portions are huge considering the low price. The only downside was that some of my lettuce was brown. Overall decent restaurant and I would go again. read more

3 Words: WORST SERVICE EVER. Most of the times I've been to this restaurant I've experienced the worst service. But recently, I ate here and had the worst experience. I was eating with a friend who's silverware was extremely dirty, and she asked 3 different people for silverware, and asked around 6 times for new silverware and never got it. When I ordered my food it was brought to me cold, so cold the cheese wasn't melted. I told the waiter that it was cold and instead of just warming it up they remade it. I was meet with an attitude from my waiter also. After about a good 30+ minutes my remade food finally appeared, and my side order wasn't even on there. Also the frozen drink machine was still broken, after 2 weeks of it being broken. This was on a busier day, but there still wasn't filled to capacity. I'm never eating here again. We have been here many times before and the food and service was great. This time the food was cold, my hamburger was under cooked after having to send it back prior because my order was wrong. There were puddles of water under the table, which we had to ask twice to have it cleaned up. The food presentation was sloppy, like the food was just thrown on the plate. Probably not coming back. The food was ok....just ok. The spinach dip was not very good and my 3yr old wouldn't even eat the chips it came with as they were that stale tasting. The salads were fresh and good. My husband hated his spasagna or whatever it was called. It looked a mess on the plate and he said it was very bland and somehow dry. I had the chicken pot pie and it was decent. Reminded me of the old Swanson microwave ones from way back in the day (actually pretty good though a little on the sweet side). Service was excellent and prompt. My main issue was that there was a near constant parade of dirty dishes past our table. I am writing this review to say that overall my experience was good. I tried to place a pick up order at lunch for my office but they said I would have to come down there to do that. I came into the bar area to place my order and there were people everywhere waiting to try this new resturant. I got through them and to the bar where I was told no to go orders. I explained what I was told so the bartender appologized and took my order. It was very crazy in there and they were running out of alot of items on their menu but like I said they are a new resturant and have been packed since opening. It did take a while to get my food but I am now back at work and enjoying the heck out of my fish tacos. First of all....I am not going to pretend like I knew it wouldnt be crazy...its a new resturant people. Also, be real folks....mistakes will happen and it will level out....give them a break. My daughter and went there for the first time yesterday. From what I'm reading on the comments you're supposed to get croissants or some type or rolls before your dinner, well we didn't . I ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich which was excellent. My daughter ordered a steak medium well. When it arrived it was practically mooing it was so bloody. The assistant manager had come back to see how our food was because after our food was delivered, that was the last time we saw waitress. Her steak was a new one and cooked properly. We noticed our waitress was standing around in the kitchen, she never came around to check on us or any of her other customers. The assistant manager continued waiting on everyone. She was kind enough to write off the steak. Another complaint I have is the cheese dip taste like it just came right out of a can, as did the salsa. We won't be back and I wouldn't suggest this restaurant to anyone in Little Rock go here either. read more

Waited two hours for lunch and it never came. It took 15 minutes for a wait staff to greet our table, then after ordering it was 30 minutes and the food didn't arrive. We inquired and they said it was on the way. We sat and waited, were told time and time again that our lunch was on the way. Food never arrived. Restaurant was not busy. Asked to please speak to the manager on duty. Was promised he was coming to talk to our party of six. He never came. We left after 2 hours, 8 minutes. While we sat and waited, a staff member came to tell us that there is a "drug problem" with employees here. That was bizarre. read more

Tonight the serves sucked literally!!! I called in a order. They said it would take 25 to 30 minutes. I waited the full 30 mins because I just stay right cross the street. When I got there it took the young lady(Keyera) 5 minutes to even ask me what I was there for. She put it under the wrong name after I had to spell my name to her. I waited another 10 mins before my order even came out. I had a very easy order.....just a veggie plate and tenders with shrimp. They had the salads just sitting out. I was looking at them the whole time I was waiting. They where out of croissants. They didn't have any eggs for the salad. Also was to lazy to go into the walk in for broccoli to put on the salads. I talked to Matt before I left. He gives me a 10% discount which only took the taxes off. What is crazy the went right back on. It only made my ticket $2.00 less. I get home my wife's veggie plate is cold. She had to reheat it in the microwave. I called and talked to Matt again to tell him about it. He wanted to give me warm food but I informed him my wife needed to eat now because shes ill. What means she has to take medication. My wife is a vegetarian. She loves there broccoli and rice. I was informed that it is made with chicken broth. So therefore you all need to tell people in the beginning that this is not vegetarian friendly. I will not be going back. my daughter and i ate at cheddar's in little rock, arkansas on 4/26/19. it was my first time to eat at a cheddar's and i came there based upon my daughter's visit there previously. cedrick was our server and he told us he was a new employee. it has been years since i have had a waiter/waitress that was as perceptive about his customers. it was like he could just sense our needs and we didn't even have to ask. he brought us take out containers and we did not have to ask him. he even prepared a "go" drink for me to take on the road and i forgot it because i was having a hard time getting around.he was pleasant and acted like he enjoyed his job. how great is it to have treatment like his instead of acting like we were a bother. he earned a great tip because he deserved it. our food was amazing also. the one negative comment is the fact that it is almost impossible to navigate your dining area with a walker that i have to use. maybe you could assign a table along the side so i won't have to squeeze in and sometimes cause another customer to have to move their chair so i could get by. even though it was a challenge to get around, i will still come back. i did call the restaurant and spoke with the manager named mark. mark was upbeat and acted enthusiastic about my comments. cedrick won our hearts and we told him we will ask for him when we come back. i will be recommending cheddar's in little rock to my family and friends. read more

I had heard from several people the service was horrible at this location. I figured it was just a new restaurant and they we're working on the kinks. Over a year later and NOPE, the service just sucks. First we were seated at a booth with (no joke) about a half inch of slimy water under it. It smelled awful, like sewage. So we asked to be moved. They didn't clean it up or even care. Just sat more people at that table after. Then it took over an hour to get our order. The appetizer was brought with the rest of the meal. No refills on any of the drinks. My ticket was wrong and the waitress over charged me 5$. Fixing that took another 10 mins to correct. I will say, the food was good; when we got it. It's ok. The food was chain style average. (not horrible, just average). The hostess was absolutely rude (by all definitions). We had a colleague retiring and a group of us wanted to take her to lunch. There were 8 of us. We called ahead hoping to get a table for lunch at 11am and were told no, that someone had to be there at 11am (meaning leave early to get there upon opening). Fine, someone did. The rest of us showed up, kind of staggered, w/ some riding together, but not all together. When another colleague and I entered at about 11:10am, there were several employees standing up front in what appeared to be a private personal discussion. We stood for a minute or two waiting to be acknowledge, and when that did not happen, I approached and asked for the group we were joining. I was completely ignored! A waiter happened to walk by (behind the "hostesses") as I was asking and when I wasn't acknowledged, he was very kind and offered to show us to our seats. The waiter who was assigned to our table was fine, no complaints. 2 colleagues ordered the fried fish lunch and both said it was horrible. I had the Philly sandwich and it was fine & I took the leftovers home. Someone else ordered the onion rings from the appetizer menu and they were colossal & looked to be hand battered, etc., so they were good. Pricing was average. I thought about going back for dinner with my husband, but not really worth the drive if we aren't already in Little Rock and when we are already in Little Rock, this just doesn't come to mind as a "must have while we're here" place to eat. read more

I have really enjoyed this restaurant, but tonight was not it. The waitress took over 10 minutes to greet us. Then when we ordered it took 15 minutes to come back and tell us they did not have the drink I ordered. She said they were out of most drinks but couldn't tell me what they had or didn't have. I ended up ordering a "painkiller". I only drink a couple of times a year, and the drink should have given me at least a buzz (I am pretty sure I spent $8 for fruit juice in an annoyingly heavy glass). The food took awhile to get to us and my son's steak was well done when he asked for medium rare. I ended up finding the manager and they took care of it but...ehh. It seemed like the waitress had tables all over the restaurant so my husband was half way done with his steak when she finally brought him the A-1 sauce. Cheddar's off of University in Little Rock was the worst experience i've ever had at a restaurant. We were there for an hour and still had not recieved our food and as I looked around I noticed that noone else had either. To top it off it took almost thirty minutes for us to even get our drinks ordered. We continuously had to ask if we had a server. I understand this is a new restaurant but the doors should have never been opened if the training was not yet effective. My family and I had to cancel our order and still had to pay for our drinks and appetizer. Good management would have generously excused the charge and took credit for the bad experience. I do not plan on ever returning to this restaurant and I felt sorry for all of the people that were walking in as we were leaving with empty stomaches. read more

Very friendly staff. Went week ago with young family and the food was great. Waiter Garrick was wonderful and nice. Great meal for cost. Manager pleasant and great to speak with. Would recommend to business meetings. We have actually gone back 3 times since first visit. Some are complaining about long wait....for good food...what do you expect. Consistently abysmal service. Have come in with groups multiple times and despite the fact that my group has arrived first, it is seated long after other groups of the same size. As this establishment does not take reservations, and operate on a first come first serve basis, the fact that they willingly skip over some parties for others is baffling, annoying, and just frustrating. The wait staff forgets orders regularly in small parties or large groups, the front staff is rude, disorganized, and clearly plays favorites. They disrespect the time & feelings of their customers. So, Cheddar's in Little Rock. We went there today for what we thought would be a nice lunch. Get there, 15 min wait, not bad. Get seated. 15 minutes later the waitress finally shows up. Takes our order, takes forever bringing us drinks. Our salads come out before the appetizer. Appetizer finally gets here. Waitress does not refill drinks or even acknowledge our existence. After being there seated for almost an hour, and a table finishing and leaving before us (waited on by same waitress) I call over some passing employee and ask to see manager. He said he'll get him, but asked if he could help us. I tell him what's up and he said he'll take care of it. He comes back and said that they lost our ticket and re-takes our order. After that, the waitress suddenly appears again and refills our drinks with the wrong drinks. Food finally comes out and I'm just ready to leave. I asked for a manager twice and no manager. Finally asked a waitress who looked like she knew what she was doing (most others didn't) and she went and personally got the manager (way to go awesome waitress who we didn't get the pleasure of being served by). I was really looking forward to eating at Cheddar's. The food looked pretty good and I was really wanting to try one of their burgers. Unfortunately, the service was terrible and I was left disappointed. There was one waiter, one waitress, and then a new waitress that then came on. All of them completely ignored us for more than 15 minutes. I completely understand that it was a busy day because it definitely seemed like it was which is why I decided to not speak up. After seeing that the new waitress that came on was attending a group of women who came after us, I got a little irritated. My mom and I decided to wait 5 more minutes and decided they were going to keep passing by us and not asking if we had been helped. It wasn't until I got the silverware and menu's to go return them since I lost my appetite with how bad the service is that the new waitress came up to me and asked what was going on. I had told her we were waiting for more than 15 minutes and no one has helped us at all. She explained that she didn't know no one was attending the table we were at but I did not like that the waiters/waitresses just assumed instead of coming over and asking if we had been helped. She also stated that she was just coming on to her shift but at the same time, she was attending a table that had gotten here after us since I saw when they were being seated. Overall, I'm disappointed with the service and I'm glad I decided to go somewhere else to eat with my mom where we did have to wait a bit but at least they let us know we were going to helped in a little bit and the service was much better! read more

Horrible experience this past weekend at this Chedder's location. I have been here a few times before in past years and it was fine but this recent visit was terrible. Our waitress didn't check on us for 20 minutes before we finally got our drink orders and she was not very friendly at all. There was another table behind us that had 10 people at it and she was very attentive to them but totally ignored us. I had to grab another waitress to request a refill on drinks and to bring me some mayo and our waitress still hadn't bothered to check on us and say sorry after this. Our food was cold, not even lukewarm like it had been sitting in the kitchen for about 30 minutes. We didn't even get the chance to say anything about our food or service because our waitress never asked or returned to us. A guest in my party also never received part of her food order but we were so hungry from sitting there for so long waiting on food that it didn't even matter. Look don't get me wrong, the first time we went everything was amazing; food, server, price, etc.... The second time not so much. the food still tuned out good for the price but first our server couldn't order our drinks because she was only 17 so we had to wait for her to get another one (5 to 8 minutes). To give her some credit she was nice and somewhat knew the menu items and took our orders. after that we never saw her again, the male waiter that took our drink orders checked on us only once during the rest of our vist, we where not offered refills or anthing. He later told us our that our server was not a waitress and that he just had to take on our table when he was not supposed to. The majority of our order was right, but the grilled shrimp and sirloin combo did not come out right. We immediately told the guy from the kitchen staff that carried out our food (note not our first server or the gentleman that ordered our drinks) that we ordered grilled shrimp not fried. He took the fried shrimp and said he would bring grilled right away. Needless to say we never saw the shrimp. An hour after sitting there and all of food eaten, the waiter finally checks on us. We inform that we never received the shrimp. He apologizes and said that he should have checked on us and that he will have it right out. When we ask if the manager will remove the cost of the shrimp from our ticket; he tells us that she said that the problem had been taken care of b/c they eventually gave us the shrimp (four pitiful shrimp) and on top of that the damn shrimp had pieces shell still attached. I mean it wasn't like we asked her to comp the entire entrée just the shrimp. Its pretty sad when a manager wont comp probably $ 3.00 worth of four pathetic shrimp that were only partially peeled. Heaven forbid you visit this restaurant on a night that something is wrong w/ your order and the managers are Melissa and /or Michelle. They will not speak to you face to face and will not put the customer's interest up front. please beware absolutely ridiculous. read more
