My first time eating here. We decided to get some dinner here before going to Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld. I got the sirloin steak and chicken fingers. It was pretty good. Not great but not bad. And then a half-hour later when I was in line for a haunted house at Howl-O-Scream I got an attack of explosive diarrhea. (Don't worry; I made it to the bathroom but it was close). My #1 rule for restaurants is that they shouldn't give me explosive diarrhea. I think that's the bare minimum. And Chedders failed at that. read more

First, I want to say that the waiter was oversat after we were sat.he started with 3 tables (10 people total) and ended up with 21 after we ordered. At first, he was quick with the drink order and the salads that my family ordered instead of a side. After that, the next thing he brought was the Togo drinks, boxes for Togo food, and the bill. When we ordered, I ordered the spinach dip...never got it. The table behind us was sat and ordered after (we a party of 5 them a party of 3) and they received their salads, meals and checks before we received our meals (3 kids burgers, a Monte Cristo and a medium steak). The spinach dip never came, so I asked that it be removed. The steak was a bad cut since it was mostly grissle and overcooked. The bugers were burnt, but the Monte was perfect. I didn't complain because after 47 minutes, I didn't have time to wait another 47 minutes to have them replaced. I also had to go to the bar (since it was close) to get my families drinks refilled since my waiter was unavailable most of the visit. Their food is typically cold. They have great chicken tenders and shrimp. The breading and quality of chicken and shrimp is good. All the sides are typically cold though. So thats a major flaw and there excuse is they only have light warmers not even and oven or microwave. read more

Writing this review as I am still sitting in my booth at the establishment. Do NOT waste your time, energy, or money to come here. The prices speak for the quality, everything is cheap and poorly presented. Our table ordered the chicken Alfredo, shrimp Alfredo, and steak. The Alfredo's were watered down, the noodles were overcooked and gummy, the shrimp still had the tails on them. What restaurant leaves the tails on the shrimp. That's a shortcut you take with your own home cooking, not at a restaurant. Oh and the croissants with honey butter, definitely do t see what the hype is about. The bread didn't seem freshly baked and the honey butter was thick and left your mouth feeling filmy. Nothing seemed scratch made as they claim to be known for. It all seemed packaged and frozen. We had a fabulous dinner at this Cheddars! We have recently had bad experiences at several other locations, so we were pleasantly surprised here! We came during the prime dinner time after a day at Disney and were immediately seated. Our server promptly brought the honey butter croissants as he introduced himself and took our drink orders. I asked a few questions about the staff's ability to prepare a dish without butter due to dietary restrictions, and he explained that everything is freshly made and they can definitely accommodate my request. He then brought out some plain croissants for me, which was so sweet! All of our food arrived quickly and was delicious! I got the key west chicken and shrimp with rice, broccoli, and carrots. The chicken and shrimp was a bit spicy, but I have an incredibly low tolerance for spice, so it would be fine for most people. The crossiants apt was disappointing, not hot and fresh, the flavor was not the same. 2 was left out of four..untouched. Our entree was so sad, the fries cold, the broccoli was like thawed from frozen and served at room temperature.no seasoning. Our fries all ends and pieces was cold, when asked for new ones, it wasn't a surprise to the staff. The famous chicken strips total missed the mark, all breading and dry as Texas in August. What a shame. I told the kids that's what they was known for. OUR table of used plates and dishes, never got cleared !! When dessert showed up there was absolutely no room to place it on the table!! The dessert struck out as well,The cookie wasn't even warm the fudge icing was cold, big miss...and with 3/4 still in the skillet the server didn't even notice OR CARE. The manager never touched our table, he was busy with his iPad on how to load the next guests and family vs asking any tables how the experience was. Chddars is better than this. We chose this restaurant because of its close proximity to our hotel in the area of the Orlando convention. The wait was very long because it was dinner time on a Friday night but it was well worth it. We were hesitant to get the center cut filet but it actually was very good and for $18 well worth it.... The long island ice tea was delicious and our server not sure if his name could've been Jordan ?? was excellent.... He was an awesome server; he gave great dinner recommendations; he was observant and kept our drinks refilled; but most of all he was so kind! Thank you! The carrots tasted like dishwasher detergent, the potato was Dry with the steak. The other person had salmon over rice with baked potato and broccoli. The salmon was not hot and dry the potato was dry and the broccoli was mush. The server never checked on us I had to wave him down to let him know. A shot, and a frozen margarita type drink a mix of strawberry and another flavor- so good. I think they called it a Cactus something....we ordered and shared the mozarella bites- fantastic and a big portion. We had friend chicken and a few bbq sauces, the brocolli side, loaded baked potato...one coworker had the chicken biscuit sandwich. It was all good and we will definitely be back for a few more work lunches. I really liked the tropical fish tank, so many beautiful fish. No one cared but i loved all the fish in it, especially the cool yellow tiger fish that hangs out on the rock and he has whiskers.
