I was in the neighborhood for another event and decided to get some lunch here today. I am glad I did because it was a very good experience. My server, Michael, quickly came over and took my drink order. He also delivered a complimentary croissant with melted butter on it which was very good. The menu had a few lunch specials, including a Philly cheesesteak. I decided to order that and it tasted great. For my side I went with the broccoli cheese casserole. The price was very reasonable. Service was also quick.

Havent been to a Cheddars in 15+ years! Well worth the wait! Possibly the best service Ive had in a long time. Food was great.

I have been to other locations and have had good experiences, this one, not so much. I got to the restaurant at 1130 and it was empty. I was sat at a full sized booth in this empty restaurant. While perusing the menu a person came up to me and told me to move to a 2 top small booth. I understand that when the restaurant is busy they need the room but I found it to be very rude and unnecessary. The table he sat me at was dirty. I ordered a bunless cheeseburger which was ok. I won't be back.

This is my first time eating here, and the food portions and prices are very nice! Compared to other appetizer trios, this one is the most affordable but also the most tasty. I loved the cheese fries and the chicken. It took a while for our drinks to arrive, but it was during the lunch rush. It was also slightly dark where we were eating, but later on, they brightened the lights.

The service was great and the food tasted amazing. This was a nice spot that we ended up finding really enjoying. The wait was a little bit for the food because it was so busy and almost every single table was taken. The waitress was super nice and also got us everything that we needed and checked up on us a good amount of times. Lots of people, but the food was very fresh.

Great experience!!! We have been wanting to stop in and did so yesterday. The restaurant was very clean and inviting. The service was good, even though we went during non- peak dining hours. Next, the food choices were great and definitely a good place to go so everyone can pick exactly what they want. The restaurant does again offer complimentary croissants, which is great. Our food choices ended up being really good. I would highly recommend trying the onion rings. They are fresh and superior to any I have had. I will definitely go back.

Solid place to eat! We were seated immediately. Our waiter was super nice and accommodating. Food didn't take long at all to reach our table. I had the bourbon salmon and shrimp with green beans and broccoli casserole. It was delish! My only note worthy item is the noise level here. It's quite loud during peak times.

First time to a cheddars! Frank was a great server - super friendly and attentive. I loved that they have a gluten free menu but wish they had more options. You can't go wrong with the grilled shrimp and rice...it's delish! I upgraded one of my sides to a house salad with balsamic, very good! My mom highly enjoyed her beer battered shrimp as well. Everything was fresh. The cocktails look incredible. I had an Arnold Palmer and my mom had a LI ice tea. Yum!

I REALLY liked this place! If you've read any of my other reviews, you may remember that I have the hardest time finding a place that can do a quality fish and chips. It's insane. I've been to 20 places, and every time, the fish and chips are just trash. I have a similar problem with finding somewhere that can do a Monte Cristo. I haven't had a decent Monte Cristo since Bennigans, but Cheddar's broke the curse. Their Monte Cristo sandwich was fantastic, and they have great chicken fingers and fries for my Little one. They even drop off some honey butter croisants at the beginning. The only knock on Cheddars was that they were unbelievably slow. Like, really unneccesarily slow. Slow to greet us, slow to take the order, SUPER slow to bring the food, slow to bring things we asked for, slow for the bill. Just SLOW. I get it, it says "Scratch kitchen," but even still, they were very, VERY slow to bring everything out. Either way, I really enjoyed my meal, and really wish there was a Cheddars up here in Jersey

Half Rack Ribs and Fried Shrimp Combo w/ Loaded Baked Potato

Cheddar's is that guilty meal I can't resist. The prices are reasonable, the food portions are huge and the quality is consistent. It was a busy Monday night and I grabbed a seat at the full service bar. My server was quick to bring me a drink and take my order. Ribs & Shrimp Combination ($20.99) - Half rack of tender, almost fall-off-the-bone baby back ribs and four beer-battered shrimp with a loaded baked potato and side salad. It's a lot of food. I couldn't finish all the meaty ribs, but they were good. The ribs had a little smoke in them with an evenly browned outer layer and tender juicy meat under that. The fried shrimp were medium sized and were light and crunchy. The salted baked potato was as expected. A good dish with added bang for the buck. Honey Butter Croissant - My server was a little late in bringing out their signature complimentary honey butter croissant so he brought me two just because. If you haven't had one of these at Cheddar's... All I can say is that one should be more than enough but you will always crave a second one even though you know you shouldn't. Well today I did and I'll worry about the consequences tomorrow. They are so good! Overall I had a great meal here. The restaurant is clean inside and though they are very busy their servers are on it. Good for all ages.

Fried apple pie with the included caramel vanilla

Very busy place. Was recommended the ribs and bourbon salmon & shrimp. The sauce for the salmon/shrimp was mentioned by waitress as made in-house. Given we were a party of two, went with those. Both entrees come with sides. The ribs got cole slaw and--for a little more--we added bacon cheese fries. I went healthy on the salmon with broccoli and loaded baked potato. Ribs came off the bone easily but a little burnt on edges. The fries were amazing! My salmon was served on bed of rice and generally sweet. Somehow they gave me carrots, so had to notify to get fixed. The 'loaded' baked potato was just sour cream and cheese? We order the fried apple pie with ice cream. Fairly good, although the apple pie did taste like a McD one. Service was so so. Waitress was friendly, but did not circulate as much as the food deliverers or clean up crew. Also the units on the table are useless...it readily accepts food orders (we added dessert they thru it) and payments. Buy the 'Call server' feature? It only lights up the LED bar on top of the console. NO ONE came by . My party ended up getting up to directly ask for extra plate, so we can split the dessert...the friendly waitress did return when I hit 'pay bill' on the console though...!

This my first time ever eating at a Cheddars so I don't know if this is particularly normal, but it was super busy, which I am sure is normal for a Saturday, but it felt a little suffocating because it seems like the tables are really packed in. But they got us in with no wait, so I can't complain. The restaurant did seem a little messy, but nothing crazy.

I've been wondering for a while where to get some good stick to your ribs so food, so when my wife told us that Nikki's Place reached out to her to come try some authentic soul food, I had to join her. We had to make sure to get an array of different things to try as much as possible. So we ordered.. smothered pork chops, fried catfish and shrimp, lemon butter chicken wings, red rice, Collard greens, Lima beans, black eyed peas, cornbread, candied yams, mac and cheese, and some onion fries.. with some sweet tea. I want to tell you, every bite I took had me closing my eyes and smiling. My only complaint was the lima beans were a little bit salty, but when I ate it with everything else it didn't really matter. The lemon butter fried chicken wings were absolutely amazing. I have not tasted anything like that in my life. You can't go there and not get them. You need these wings. I'd also like to say that all the sides are meat-free , so vegetarians come get some . We ate till we were full, and we had enough to take home as well. We took an order of bread pudding home for dessert and that was absolutely delicious too. Overall absolutely great food. The staff took care of us very well. Highly recommended!

My son got the fruit punch mixed with lemonade. I like to get half sweet and half unsweetened tea. We commenced to ordering. We all got a side of cornbread with our meal. We devoured. We got our fingers and mouths all sauced up and messy. We feasted. Everyone loved their meal and I felt like a hero for suggesting this fine, homey establishment. We decided that we couldn't fit dessert but greediness prevailed and we got desserts to go. Red velvet cake, peach cobbler, banana pudding, and lemon pound cake. The bread pudding is one of my faves. The banana pudding was nothing to write home about. Could have used some fresh bananas cut up in there. Last but not least, I have to mention our beautiful server, Audrey. She handled our table with a winning combination of love and skill. Our server was absolutely fantastic, friendly and very attentive. We started off the dinner with some fantastic deviled eggs and a lemon cello cocktail. I ordered the shrimp and grits and was really disappointed with the tiny, overcooked shrimp and crawfish that accompanied the slightly bland grits. The shrimp on the kids buffet was at least four times larger than the sad little shrimp in my dish. I think the sausage was cut into smaller chunks just so it wouldn't be so obvious how small the shrimp was. My husband didn't love his heirloom tomato salad and said the Wagyu appetizer was disgusting. Dessert was mediocre. The macarons that accompanied my crème brûlée were stale and chewy.
