    Wisconsin cheese bites
    Erika H.

We Came on a Tuesday around 6:30. We were told to wait as they found us a table but the restaurant was completely empty. However, we still sat down quickly and got waters as soon as we sat as well as the honey butter croissants. Our waitress was new to the restaurant but she was very knowledgeable about the menu and suggested some items to us. She was attentive and friendly. The restaurant is very big inside with plenty of seating and a bar area. We started with the Wisconsin cheese bites. I can tell the ranch sauce is made from scratch because it was delicious. I then had the chicken tender platter that comes with two sides and my fiancé had the buffalo chicken wrapper. The chicken tender platter is a decent size. I got French fries and coleslaw as my sides. The platter was so huge I couldn't finish it! My fiancé thought the buffalo chicken wrapper was great. My fiancé always talks about coming to this restaurant years ago and how good it was- that was still true this visit. It was my first time coming here, but definitely not my last.

This location can be hit or miss as far as service goes. Usually it starts off strong and then the server disappears at the end of the meal. The restaurant itself is large and clean. Food for the most part is great. We have had mostly good meals here with the occasional "off" night. We really like that it's priced fairly and you get a large portion. Hard to come by these days. Their buffalo chicken wrap is my favorite!

Very good experience here. The ribs were giving flannigans a serious run for their money and the service was blazing fast. The place was clean and nicely appointed and the server was exceptional. I will be back.

Came or the first time for dinner I had been to a Cheddars in Mississippi and was very happy to see one here in Fl and it did not disappoint. The service we received from being seated by the hostess to being served by out server was exceptional. The restaurant very clean and the vibe very family oriented . We were served complementary honey butter croissant which were amazingly delicious. We started with cocktails we were recommended the special watermelon margarita mt daughter had hers on the rocks I had the frozen very big serving and a phenomenal price.. We ordered for diner the bourbon salmon and shrimp. and the Rack of ribs which the meat fell off the bone and seasoned and cooked perfectly For the boys we ordered the chicken tender and fries platter and the 6 ounce sirloin which was perfectly cooked. The dessert, was also amazing we ordered the chocolate cake and the apple pie with a scoop of ice cream on the side. both of the desserts were very good. I was taken back when the bill came as the prices are amazing for the portions and amount of food we ordered, you cant beat that for a great experience. much better than most restaurant around. I will definitely recommend and I will come be back to try the other items in the menu.

It was just me i was sat in a booth which i asked for it. Greg was my server he was great. The food was good. Salmon with rice and two sides orders. I did broccoli and cheese and mashed potatoes it was good. I had an ice tea told him unsweetened but to put a bit of watermelon sweetener. I had no dessert because I was too full. Everything was good and tasty. Highly recommend this location. I have been to the one in kendall down south and the food is not that good. Differently will come back to one location in Pembroke pines.

Service was good at the bar. Bartender was friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly. It tasted good but the chicken pot pie was very overly salted. Some of the chicken pieces also had ligament pieces. There was plenty of seating and the restaurant was clean.

I just ordered Uber Eats from this place and my driver was picking up my order and crew members stating they haven't started the order delaying my driver, he was complaining to them stating it had should've been completed once arrival. I ordered cheese curds and pulled one apart and a piece of lobster or type of fish flew out!! Person I was sharing with mentioned no wonder it tasted and smell like seafood. this is UNACCEPTABLE if someone were to be allergic to fish it would caused PANIC

We did not have the best experience. I took my father to Cheddars for lunch. The only reason I gave this 2 stars was because they had technology that let us pay our check on the device at the table. We ordered a Monte Crisco sandwich and an order of onion rings. The food was terrible. They over fried the rings and the sandwich in old oil. We showed one of the managers our meal and he agreed and said he would talk to kitchen. We never saw him again. We showed and told our waiter our food and he said he was sorry for the way our food came out. The staff never offered to make our order right. Now for my pet peeve, my ice tea glass was empty the entire meal, and the waiter never came back to fill it. Poor service, overcooked food, and not an appropriate response to our complaint. The restaurant was clean and not too loud. I do not see myself going back anytime soon. This was not the experience we were expecting.

This restaurant turned out to be a pretty great surprise for a casual date night. The place smells clean the moment you walk in and has a warm, inviting vibe with that fish tank . The reception staff seated us quickly, and our waitress wasted no time bringing drinks and our appetizer. We started with the creamy spinach and chips, rich, flavorful, and with just enough kick to keep you dipping long after you're full. Definitely a must-try. For the main course, we had the Southern fried chicken with gravy, mashed potatoes, and green beans. The chicken was freshly fried and bursting with flavor. The green beans looked like they might have come from a can, but somehow they were super soft and still delicious. The shrimp pasta Alfredo, however, could've used a little more zing, it was good, just a bit shy on personality. We washed everything down with the $3 Bud Light special and a house margarita. The margarita did show up with a sugar rim instead of the salt we asked for... and our server didn't offer to swap it out. Oh well we survived . Overall, the food is what makes this place shine, and it's good enough to bring us back again. Next time we'll just double-check the salt.

Came here for the first time for a pre Mother's Day dinner and I was not disappointed. First the service from the hostess to our server was excellent. The restaurant does have a chain restaurant vibe but very open and clean. The complementary honey butter croissant was delicious. To start we had the special watermelon margarita on the rocks which was only $6 !! Big cup very yummy. For diner I had the bourbon salmon and shrimp. I'm very happy that the bourbon sauce was put on the side as it was very spicy so I only put a little bit on my food. Everything on my plate was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. My mom had the barbecue ribs which the really fell off the bone and she mentioned that they were also well seasoned and perfect. My oldest had the chicken tender and fries platter which again he enjoyed I tried them and they were not overly salty. And my little one had the 6 ounce sirloin which again I ordered the medium well and it was perfectly cooked. For dessert, we both had the chocolate cake as well as the apple fritter both the desserts were very yummy. I was completely shocked when I saw the bill since with everything it was very economical and I would say cheaper than dinner at Denny's and the quality was better than you every day chain restaurant. I would definitely recommend and I will definitely be back.

Unfortunately, neither lived up to expectations. We started with the "jumbo" wings, which were anything but jumbo. We received only flats, and they were some of the smallest wings I've ever been served. After bringing this to the staff's attention, we were told the manager would take 50% off the order. However, when the bill arrived, we were informed that the manager had already left and the discount could no longer be honored. Instead, we were given only the $4 happy hour discount, despite being promised otherwise. For our entrées, we ordered the brisket sandwich and the half chicken. Neither was worth ordering. The chicken lacked the crispy texture it was advertised to have, and the brisket was bland and without flavor. The sandwich was also supposed to come with truffle fries, but instead we were served cold, plain fries. After mentioning it, the solution was to bring us a side of truffle oil and Parmesan cheese and ask us to mix it ourselves. The service was equally disappointing. We asked our server twice for drink refills, but she never brought them. We eventually had to flag down another server just to get our beverages refilled. Overall, this was a frustrating dining experience from start to finish. Between the poor-quality food, unfulfilled promises regarding the bill, and inattentive service, this restaurant fell well below the standard I would expect from a Miami establishment. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one. I sincerely hope management addresses these issues because the current level of food quality and customer service is simply unacceptable. and quality is embarrassing for miami.

We end up stopping by and saw an employee taking a break outside and told my husband where the menu was located. I chose turkey, Mac and cheese, collard greens and a side of potato salad. My husband ordered fried tilapia, yams, and lima beans. All dinners comes with a rice. We had pigeon peas and rice. My husband went in the restaurant to pick up the food. He came back and as I was looking over the food, I didn't see any cornbread. I saw the reviews on YELP, so I asked him to ask can we purchase cornbread or do they have any. The female employee stated she gave us some. No, we didn't have any. My husband came back to check and none was in our bag. She said that she gave us some. First of all, we would not ask for anything that we didn't pay for. If you look at how much we dine out, you would know that we spend money really well, and don't need any handouts. I was really disappointed! But anyway, she gave us what we were supposed to have, which was the cornbread what we NEVER received. My husband said he think that it was the owner that told the employee not to argue with the customer. That was unacceptable, PERIOD! :-( The food score: My food- collard greens-8 potato salad-4 Pigeon peas and rice-4 Turkey-8 Cornbread-10 Husband food- Fried tilapia-7 Pigeon peas and rice-6 Yams-6 Lima beans-5 Cornbread-10 *needed more seasoning on fish, and Lima beans. The bootlegger with the jalapeno pineapple infused moonshine is DELICIOUS. It's refreshing and light believe it or not! Next time I'll request sliced jalapeno's to add more kick! The whisky sour with the pecan whisky was good but a little too sweet. It was our first time and we were pleasantly surprised. The 'from scratch' concept is always something we appreciate. The kitchen being willing to accommodate a menu modification is the best. We tried multiple items on the menu and left with many leftovers as the portions were plenty. The table favorite with the appetizers were the drop biscuits! Holy tasty moly. The cinnamon butter and the soft creamy center was devine. The deviled eggs were very good. We would prefer a dill relish to cut the sweetness but overall very good. The corn ribs were great. Smokey and charred but still crunchy. The charred peppers were delicious! I think we would prefer the broccolini to be blanched prior to being charred just to soften it up. The burnt ends were very good. We're not used to them being cubed but more of a natural end from the point of the brisket and a little more burnt, but the whisky caramelized onions underneath are spot on. The brisket meat was the favorite. Tender and super flavorful. The pulled pork sliders were very good also but did not beat out the brisket. The black pepper and cheddar grits were very peppery but the cheddar wasn't as flavor forward. Very good though. I imagine the shrimp and grits is really good. The mac-n-cheese was very smokey and creamy. We appreciated the noodles not being overcooked. The loaded steak fries were also very good and crisp. Tons of flavor. I requested the protein bowl with pulled jackfruit vs the menu options. I opted for the root beer bbq sauce but I think it was too much sweet on top of sweet. It needed some heat more than the few slices of jalapenos on the top. It wasn't bad but the ingredients in the bowl are somewhat inert in flavor so adding hot sauce or more peppers would be better. The charred peppers would be a great add. Overall, our experience was awesome. I save my 5-star reviews for places that are superb but this place is definitely worth visiting.

This was our second time dining here; the first time being shortly after they opened. The restaurant is really beautiful inside with accents of green and gold and white. Outdoors, there's plenty of table space, a bar, and a stage for live music. It looked like it has been expanded since my first time there. I'm glad to see this restaurant doing well in Old Town Pompano. Our server was very friendly and assisted us with our questions about the menu. As we were there for brunch, we settled on fried green tomatoes Eggs Benedict, steak and eggs, and shrimp and grits. The fresh biscuits sounded so good that we ordered them. We should have asked for them to come out early, so we could enjoy them while we were waiting. However, we took them home and enjoyed them the next day. We also made the mistake of ordering a side of potatoes. That was definitely not necessary because two of the entrées came with potatoes, and we had more than plenty for the table. Again, something we enjoyed the next day. We were all impressed with what we ordered. Everything came out hot and cooked just as we had asked. My shrimp and grits were absolutely delicious. I also thought it was also nice that our server asked if we wanted to take our refilled drinks to go and prepared to go cups for us. This restaurant has been consistent for us, and I definitely plan to be back. Next time, I'd like to check out their live music scene and get a table outside when the weather gets a little cooler.
