Or server, Caleb. Was great... very attentive and chill at the same time. The first item brought to the table was two croissants with a butter glaze... they were soft on the inside, layered buttery flaky... yum We ordered three appetizers and an entree... Buffalo shrimp with the sauce on the side came with 6 good sized shrimp, fried to crispy perfection. Spinach cheese dip with salsa and tortilla chips... the dip was great, the chips were a bit over fried and many were broken up... The Wisconsin cheese bites were small nuggets of fried cheese, delicious crunchy nuggets of deliciousness... We also ordered the country fried chicken with the gravy on the side. It was well seasoned and very crispy served on a piece of toast with two sides... we got steamed broccoli which had a nice seasoning but was a bit over cooked, the loaded baked potato had butter, cheese and sour cream. It was baked well and tested fresh. We recommend you go to this restaurant and ask for Caleb... but make sure you leave him a great tip!!

I should've read the reviews before going but I have been to other Cheddars and they have been good but this location needs HELP! From the rude, maybe even racist waitress we had. She was dry and rude with us from the start. We were friendly and didn't complain about the gross food. However, She was friendly and cheerful with the other tables. Maybe because I am hispanic? IDK but the treatment difference was clear. SHe didn't know the bourborns they had even though she was the bartender. The food wasn't ANY better. Out cheese curds were super oily and came with pieces of Chicken Fingers Batter. Just really gross. We ordered Tenders Platter and it was 1 HUGE tender. All stuck together into one ball. When you separated the chicken the batter in the inside was mushy. Just bad.

Have been to this location a few times and the food is consistently good. Brought my in-laws for lunch since we were shopping near by. My mother in law ordered a fried shrimp platter and my father in law had the classic burger. They really loved their meal and want to come back and try the ribs before they head back to Jersey. They also loved the complimentary sticky croissants. My Smokehouse Burger was cooked to perfection, I asked for medium and medium I got. Don't think they have Cheddar's up North, I've never seen one. Well maybe they should.

One of my favorite restaurants in Florida. Great comfort food. It's like an Applebees meets Cracker Barrel. It's a nice and clean restaurant. The service is always great and the food comes out amazing! The croissants are delicious! So far we have tried the cheese bites, the kids grilled cheese, chicken fingers, steak and pork chops. EVERYTHING is delicious! The drinks are also great and decently priced! $100 for appetizers, meals and drinks for 4 people is a great price!! Another plus is that they brought out a car seat sling for my baby so he could sit at the end of the table comfortably!

I like this place, yes it's a chain, but it has a nice vibe about it, nice menu as well. A bit light on the beer selection, that's my only complaint!

We had…read morebreakfast here a few years ago and enjoyed it; wanted to go back but we don't eat breakfast often. Prices were higher this time, understandably. They are still better priced on a basic breakfast than other places nearby. I wanted to try their eggs Benedict even though I've only ever had it maybe 2-3 times in my life! I'm not a good person to judge since I'm not really sure what hollandaise should taste like! It was more tangy tart than I expected. The eggs were cooked the way they should be and the ham was thick. In my memory, it should've had a stronger ham flavor, as I think Canadian bacon is the traditional meat and I was hoping for that. But even eating a piece of the thick ham by itself, I couldn't taste a salty smoked ham flavor. While I found that disappointing, I couldn't take a star away because visually it looked great, and I imagine a lot of people would love to see that thick slice of ham even if it is too mild! Don't judge it by my photo because I broke my yolks and stirred them up before I remembered to take a photo. The grits (my choice of side) were just like I like them. My husband got a 2 eggs breakfast with home fries (?) sausage and toast. It was a full plate of food and he enjoyed it. They have home made strawberry jam (yum!) and I will for sure get breakfast with toast or biscuits next time just so I can have some of that jam. I did put a little bit of jam on a couple bites of my English muffin from under my Benedict. The coffee mug was tall so my husband appreciated that; and the friendly & attentive server, Melissa, filled it before empty, as needed. We will be back "sooner than later" hopefully, because there's more I want to try on their menu. I do recommend going here for breakfast especially if you are an early bird or find yourself out and about very early for some reason like we were, and need a breakfast. I think they might get crowded quickly, so early is better. Note that their hours were not accurate on the iPhone maps app - I submitted correct hours and it's pending approval. However I used the website hours and one of their days I think it was Sunday - was showing closed at 1 but it's actually 1:30.

She found Leroy's Southern Kitchen & Bar in Punta Gorda, and let me tell you this place isn't a restaurant it's a whole Saturday night experience! I walked in thinking there had to be a festival, birthday party, or somebody famous in town. Nope! That's just how they roll every Saturday. Live music, people dancing, everyone smiling I started wondering if they slipped happiness into the sweet tea. Now the wife ordered the Nevermind Pressed Burger with extra cheese and black coffee steak sauce. NEVERMIND?? More like Never mind my diet! One bite then another then another and suddenly her plate looked like the dishwasher had already been there. The burger was cooked perfectly, juicy, cheesy, and that steak sauce should be illegal in at least 12 states. Meanwhile, I ordered the 10 oz. Skirt Steak with jasmine rice, carrots, green onions, and their house made Asian marinade. Listen whoever made that sauce I need the recipe, your autograph, and your retirement plan. I was this close to asking for a to go cup so I could pour it on my cereal tomorrow morning. Mama mia that steak disappeared faster than my paycheck after my wife says, Let's just stop at one more store. Then dessert happened. We saw our neighbors order the homemade Banana Nilla Pudding special. My wife looked at me with that look that says, We're getting one. Fellas you already know that's not a suggestion. Well she got one. I got exactly three bites. THREE! ‍ By the time I looked back, the jar was cleaner than the windows at a car wash. Dear Lord now I understand why my doctor keeps telling me to watch my sugar. That pudding almost had me scheduling my next A1C appointment from the table. The live band had me singing songs from back in the day don't ask which ones. Some of y'all are detectives and I'm not giving away my age! And a huge shout-out to Athena! She knew that menu like she wrote it herself. Friendly, funny, attentive she made us feel like regulars even though it was our first visit. So thank you, Uncle Leroy! Between the food, the music, the atmosphere, and my wife stealing 97% of the dessert, this was the perfect way to end an unforgettable Father's Day getaway. Five stars. Come hungry leave happy and if you order the Banana Nilla Pudding, order TWO. One for your wife and one that you hide under the table. Trust me.

We were huge fans of New England Roadside Grill before they changed ownership, and man do we want them back! Im from Rhode Island so we loved how close it was home to us and that the consistency and quality was always above and beyond. We decided to stop in after running around a couple of days ago (and let me start by saying that we did have our meal comped but it should've been tbh) and were so disappointed not only in our meal but also in the way it was handled by the new owners. We started with a stuffie and an order of onion rings and we each got a lobster roll. The stuffie was soggie, the onion rings had a weird tempura batter but thicker with no flavor and the lobster roll was honestly inedible. It was soaked in a liquid mayo (I've never seen such runny mayo in my life) and the lobster was stringy. Just weird. We let one server know that we were really unhappy with the meal and she said she would go talk to the owners. Now we were sitting at the bar and they were sitting right on the other side of us (the opening was separating us). We watched the wife go back first and then her husband. They came back out sat back down and didn't say a word. We sat finishing our drinks for a few more minutes before my bf finally asked if they were the owners, to which the husband said yes they were. We let him know how disappointed we were and he agreed that the lobster rolls especially were pretty bad. The problem I had is he immediately threw his cook under the bus and made excuses for why the food was bad. And honestly, had we not said something, I think huh would've continued ignoring us. No apologies just well we knew it was bad so we'll comp it, to which we thanked him and tipped our server well and paid for our drinks. We really wanted this reopening to be great. We'll stick to RJs for the time being. The total prior to comp was ~$90. We tipped our serve $25. Won't ever go back here again.
