Loved eating here ! I'm from Las Vegas and we decided to stop by on our way out. Our server (can't remember his name) came right on over and was extremely nice and attentive. We were immediately seated and ordered our food. I ordered the Ceasar Pasta Salad as well as the Cheeseburger with fries. The Pasta salad was AMAZING! Very flavorful and filling. I did not like the Cheeseburger as it tasted as if it came out of a frozen pack. The waiter was so nice to take it from me and remove it from my check. For my drink I ordered the Maui Margarita frozen which was wonderful and very big for the $6 price. The honey butter croissants were so good. I was happy that they were not heavy on the honey. The Wisconsin cheese bites were a little bit too cheesy for my liking but still tasted good. I will definitely be back. It presents itself as a nicer Applebees and I enjoyed the atmosphere.

Came to Cheddars in Sugar Land looking for an inexpensive late Friday night dinner. This Cheddars looks fairly new and in a nice area. The inside was pretty typical of what I've come to expect of most Cheddars, with a bar area, fish tank, and dinning area. For those unfamiliar, it is definitely a more casual restaurant so don't expect white table cloths and candle lit dinners. However, it is nice and adequately clean enough to enjoy lunch or dinner. We got there around 9pm and it was still pretty busy with multiple big parties, however, we were seated without a wait. While we did have a waiter, our table also had a tablet where you can order items of their menu to add to your tab as well. We only used the tablet to checkout however, which was convenient to do at our own leisure. The food came out pretty quickly which was nice. We started with their famous Honey Butter Croissants and their Sante Fe Spinach Dip. Both were 10/10 and a must anytime I go to Cheddars. I didn't get any alcohol this time, though I know they tend to have good cocktails. I opted for a Strawberry Lemonade which was sweet, but good. I also liked that it gets free refills. For my entree I had the New Orleans Pasta and it was pretty good, though I may have had slightly better ones in the past. Of note, the pasta also came with the choice of garlic bread or Texas toast; I chose garlic bread, but it came out after my pasta. I will say all in all the pasta was a decent portion size and I had to take half of it to-go. Overall, Cheddars offers good food at an even better value. I'm pleasantly amazed that their prices haven't increased that much over the years, making it still a very affordable night out for dinner (spent less than $60 for two people). I'd definitely recommend for a casual dining experience and I would come back to this location in the future.

We decided to come here on our way home from Houston. It's a family style restaurant. Kind of reminds me of Chili's. The service was amazing. Quick and efficient. Now let's get to the food. The honey butter croissants?! Life giving okay! I would sacrifice all my carbs on those things! One of us got the smokehouse burger. She was not a fan. Another from our party got the grilled shrimp Alfredo. She said it was a little bland but salt helped. I was able to taste the Caesar pasta salad, the flavor was fire!!! Personally, I got the fall off the plate baby back ribs with loaded mashed potatoes and a side Caesar salad. Salad was standard. Potatoes were nice and thick which is how I like them. The ribs were the star! Literally falling off the bone! No need to cut them. So good. If you haven't been, try them out.

Love me some cheddars. Tastes the same as I remember. Fried chicken with gravy with broccoli cheddar casserole still smackssss. Butter honey croissants heavenly. And the sampler platter was so much and filled me up.

This aint 6 ounce

When we asked for drinks I ordered a root beer right and the waiter repeated it to confirm it the when I take one sip its Dr pepper I take a sip of my brothers drink to see if it was mine and it was also Dr pepper so im mad but I dont say anything because the waitress looked like a young teenage boy who's new then when we got our food they said they over cooked my mom's medium rare or whatever type of steak it was supposed to be so they re did it it took almost 10 minutes to get it and it takes at least 5 minutes to finish it when my mom got her food it wasn't hot and it was supposed to be a six ounce but it didn't look like it like you see in the picture the waitress kept going to thr other tables multiple times and would just stare at our table and would take a while to go to us I didn't like it but said nothing we waited for the check but the waiter was gone for a very long time so we paid on the little tablet thing and left hes lucky my grandma even tipped 20 bucks it should've been no tip I do not recommend first and last time going.

Wisconsin Cheese Bites

This is my first time at Cheddar's and it was delicious. I have always heard about their croissant, but never had a chance to try it. Man did it not disappoint. It was so flakey, buttery, and the sweet drizzle completed it. We got their Wisconsin cheese bites, chicken tender and ribs, and chicken pot pie. It was so delicious. The crunch on the Wisconsin cheese bites and chicken tenders was amazing. In addition, with the ranch it paired so well. The ribs were amazing and fell right off the bone.

Seated quickly. Server was right there. Odd two other servers were sitting in our booth when we got there. Go sit in the back. I've been to cheddars maybe twice before. I know why. Menu is sort of limited if you are in any special diet. So for me. Low carb. Everything is breaded and fried, pasta etc. ok they have 6 steak options I had a sirloin. I could have had much better at outback Spinach and artichoke dip app was good. Drinks right out. Then sold and meals bam everything on the table at once. Not a fan and no need to rush. Steak was cooked good had good flavor a bit tough. Southern green beans were not southern. They were flat Italian green beans with no seasoning, onions bacon. They also weren't cooked all the way. That's what I was expecting. The broccoli cheese casserole was odd. Very thick and like warm. Not likely to be back.

There was plenty of room for pups to spread out, and I saw dogs enjoying themselves both outside and inside the restaurant. It felt like everyone was welcome. Naturally, I ordered from the Pup Menu. I chose the grilled chicken and rice bowl, and I can confidently report that it was excellent. Fresh, simple, and completely disappeared within minutes. The humans seemed happy with their meals too. They ordered a strip steak, salmon, and a salad, and I didn't hear a single complaint from their side of the table. The staff were incredibly friendly and made a point of welcoming me as an actual guest instead of just someone's dog. Between the dedicated dog menu, the spacious patio, and the warm service, it's easy to see why this place is so popular with pet owners. If you're visiting Houston with your dog, Lazy Dog is an easy recommendation. Dogba's verdict: Five paws. Excellent chicken. Outstanding customer service. Finally, a restaurant that knows to hand me a menu first.

My wife and I have been to WC several times before for lunch, happy hour, and dinner but this was our first time for brunch. We had 1pm reservations and the sky looked like it was going to pour down ran any moment. Our hostess was very kind and let us pick the table we wished to sit in order to get a good view of the bar and windows to keep an eye on the weather and the arrival of our family members. Our server, Dane, was in top form and gave us suggestions for a starter. We were torn between the Jalapeno-gouda biscuits, Candied Bacon and other tasty sounding dishes and quickly agreed the Goat Cheese Fondue. The dish arrived shortly after our whole party was seated. Dane had great presentation as he drizzled olive oil over the steamy, bubbling cheese dish that looked amazing, smelled wonderful, and tasted even better. Melted goat goat cheese with a blend of olives, roasted tomatoes, garlic confit and thyme that we generously spread over warm toast points. It was all devoured in no time. Dane returned to clear our plates and took our order. The brunch menu is an exploration in so many things to suit your breakfast or lunch craving. We ordered the Strawberry Short Stack, the Hangover Burger, Brunch Sandwich, and the Steak and Egg Hash. Out of curiosity we also ordered a side of the Green Chile Cheese Grits. My wife and I love to share so the Strawberry Short Stack and Brunch Sandwich were perfect for dividing. Those pancakes are picture perfect, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweet. Interestingly, Dane had asked if we wanted the toppings of strawberry compote, vanilla anglaise, whipped strawberry butter, and lemon shortbread crumble on the side so we could control the sweetness. For us that was the perfect suggestion as we were able to individually taste each accoutrement to build our perfect bite. The Brunch Sandwich was fantastic. Sometimes a breakfast sandwich can appear to be unwieldy but in this case it was manageable to cut in half and handle appropriately, The everything bagel was the right vehicle for this savory bite of fried-medium egg, layered with applewood smoked bacon, pickled Fresno peppers (for nice pop of spice), greens, american cheese, and a garlic-basil aioli. I didn't taste the Hangover Burger nor the Steak and Egg Hash, perhaps because I was a bit gorged on the pancakes and sandwich but the dishes looked amazing and I have a mental shortlist for the next time we dine at WC. Oh, and I did mention that we were curious about the Green Chile Cheese Grits. Out of this world! Those grits stole the show. We all kept commenting on them. Get them. You will be rewarded. When we dine we always expect good food. For us, service is the reason to come back. Dane was an outstanding server. He had personality and hospitality which is rare these days. He was conversationally engaging. He never lingered too long, always seemed to anticipate what we might need, politely asking to clear plates. Hat's off to Dane. Thank you Whiskey Cake for delivering a great dining experience to kick-off Father's Day weekend. We will be back.

It wasn't fresh and the feta cheese was a bit too overwhelming. As for the spinach and artichoke dip, I felt like it was okay. The meat was cooked perfectly and the amount for each ingredients were given generously. I also really loved how you really can taste the smokiness from the bite. As for the pasta, I thought that it was good but not the best. It was starting to get a bit heavy with the amount of cheese and I do wish the cajun flavor could be a bit stronger. The chicken was also on the dry side but it's still pretty decent. Overall, this place is okay.
