I will always love Texas Roadhouse. It's busy on weekends but worth it. Rolls are always warm and fluffy. The fried pickles were actually quite tasty, crispy and salty and just what you want from a fried pickle. Country fried chicken with white gravy hit the spot for me, the batter was crispy and the gravy gave it a nice texture differential. Steak fries are my favorite here. I've travelled all over, and TX Roadhouse has been one of my favorites. I'll pass 2 Salt Grass locations to eat at one. I recently moved to the area, and this location is the closest. Two big problems: Last night was my 4th trip to this location. They CANNOT get a steak cooked to order - they are 4 for 4 in missing my "medium" steak by a mile. It's either well done or bleeding. I sent the bleeding steak back last night and got a well done steak in return. Their second problem is their staff. I can't speak for all, generally, but I've never seen a lower level of customer service at a TX roadhouse. And servers all seem to believe they have the right of way and will run over you. We order steak and onion rings. Taste good. We have a waiter and a training . The trainer name Kendrick... I see he tried learning and he did good job . Nice and clear . But something can be done better. We've spending an early dinner time there from 4 o'clock but ... we are leave around 5:00pm . Which is not good . First time at the roadhouse, not fine dining. If you want something greasy and fried then this is the spot in a good way. You get free bag of peanuts and meant to leave the casings on the floor to give it a vibe. That was a nice way to wait and large waiting area. I also liked if we wanted an app on the way to our table, faster way to get food in our stomach. All of our food was great and took home, cushioned seats in booths. went there tonight for birthday dinner with my mo. I ordered prime rib, med rare. it looked a little rare, but tried it It was so rare that I had a hard time cutting it. A manager stopped by and I asked for it to be med. rare. While waiting, our waiter walked by our table 3 - 4 times and never once stopped to see how we were doing. Finally after at least 10 min., what was supposed to be my steak arrived. manager apologized and said she would replace it, by that time my mother had finished her dinne. This is a rather noisy restaurant, and not really kids friendly though they have kids menu. The loud music can get a little annoying. They have free packaged peanuts which I love. It is hard to find big raw peanuts in Houston. I enjoy cracking the peanut shells. I find it fun. Service was great. The server kept checking in and was prompt. I like the payment part which allows me to pay right at the table without waiting for a server to get me the check. It eliminates the unnecessary waiting time. I had the filet with shrimp, cup of chili, filet 12oz, and chicken ranger meal. I love the chili. A cup full of meat, cheese, and spiciness. It was delicious. The filets were ok. The meat quality was ok for the price. Funny thing is I love their bread the most. Their bread is the best I have had so far. So soft and fragrant. The whipped butter complements the bread so well. Logan was on the ball! Very efficient and friendly server. Music was way too loud to enjoy the dinner.

Texas Roadhouse is one of my favorite restaurants and one of the top picked restaurants in my area. It is always busy and the atmosphere is great! The only complaint I have it that they need to better position their signs. Last time I went (5/2/2025), after I just finished my meal and when I was about to pay, a sign fell down straight on my head. We had an AMAZING server named Mohammad, food was fine, whatever. We are in a booth in the back section and I'm sitting in the booth part and my friend across from me is sitting in a chair. I heard her say "oh my God that thing is huge" which triggered me to immediately push my way out of the booth. It was a giant cockroach. Apparently the thing almost landed on my shoulder which, I have a horrific fear of the things and I almost certainly would've had a heart attack! The roach crawled back inside of the booth... new fear of booths unlocked. While management handled it rather quickly, I honestly believe there may be a roach problem which is why I decided to post. There's not a lot of great food in Rosenberg, and chains are one of the main options when you're looking for good dinner, and this is one of the better chains for steaks. Not bad at all, even though it's not cheap and of course, is a chain. And no, I didn't see Patrick Swayze when I was here. Not too busy yet. Prompty shown to our table with drink order taken quickly. All the services and meals were good, however my salmon was overcooked but that's okay. Well well well here we go the moment they was doing good they had to go and mess it up food was terrible last night 12/13/24 I order beef I ask for well done they brought me med rare and my wife has food allergies and she didn't want mushrooms they added it anyway and when they brought the new plate out cheese look like plastic and onions wasn't cooked all the way through so this time we will not come back at all....and just think they was doing good with the cooks and the waitress sucks she didn't mention it to the cook our order properly however the manager was gracious to remove it from our tab....so for that Texas Roadhouse gets a Two Star only because the manager removed it from our bill. read more

Amazing service! We walked in without reservations and after a short wait were seated. Our waitress was amazing! Very social and friendly with great recommendations. Even with all the new weird Covid restrictions you would never have known as service was awesome! I ordered the prime rib with a baked potato. You walk in and see the steaks in the window and asked if you like any of them. So you pick out the one you love. So they put a tag on it and start to prepare it while someone is seating you. The hostess sat me down and brought me 4 big hot rolls with honey butter. A server came afterwards and took my order. ( SO FAST SERVICE) . We arrived at the Texas Roadhouse not long after they had opened for the evening so it wasn't crowded at all! We were promptly greeted and escorted to our table, we elected to get a booth. Our waitress came and took our drink orders, my wife had unsweetened tea, our 7 year old a Coke, and I had Sweet Tea with lemon, but I also ordered one of their house Margaritas! Our server was very attentive and came back with our drinks and we ordered an Awesome Blossom onion for our appetizer! I was very good with the dipping sauce they serve with it, but we asked our server for some ranch dip for our 7 year old and then he munched away on it!! For our meal our 7 year old wanted the kids cheeseburger and fries. My wife and I both ordered the 14 ounce Ribeyes medium rare with loaded baked potatoes and I had a house salad with ranch with mine and she had the Caesar salad with hers. Our food didn't take very long at all and they brought our boys cheeseburger and fries along with our steaks which were cooked just right! They even stood by and had us cut into steaks to make sure they were to our liking!!! The salads were very good and everything was very fresh. The steaks were delicious as were our loaded baked potatoes! Everything was really great, the inside is decorated very nice and it has a very nice ambience. The only thing was a little iffy was how loud they played the music! It was loud when we entered, but as time went on it did get turned down quite a bit! I can't hardly hear in a loud restaurant with everyone talking, but with music that loud I couldn't hear a conversation at all!!! I'm glad they did turn it down, a lot! This is one of my favorite chains so it's hard for me to give it only three stars but this location has issues. The service was ok but my bartender never check my to go food. Which means I ended up with a potato with nothing on it (not even butter), the shrimp was very tasty but I got a cold steak. Their table bread is wonderful as you know, but the bread that came with the steak was tough and hard to eat. The corn was just ok. I only went five minutes away so cold food is not acceptable. Maybe it was because they were busy, which is why I gave them three stars. read more
