Went because of the reviews. Tried the gumbo. It tasted like chicken noodle soup with a roux... Complete waste of money. There was hardly any protein in it and the sausage they used was cheap and greasy. I had to add hot sauce to make it halfway decent. I'm actually FROM New Orleans and please don't trust the review that says it captures back home flavors perfectly. it does not. It's OK at best. Probably won't return for seafood. Maybe even a little underseasoned. The fries and rice and egg roll were not good to me. Rice was not a typical fried rice, just kinda tasted like mexican rice. Fries were wet and soggy and so was the egg roll. The shrimp alfredo was delicious tho. Big portion and nice presentation. The sauce was good in that one too. Can't believe I've never reviewed this place. We've been regulars here from when they first started. Everything tastes amazing here. No kidding. We've tried the fried rice, shrimp Alfredo (the Cajun version with blackened shrimps was even better), spicy honey bbq and garlic Parmesan wings (comes with a side of fried rice or fries), and the crawfish in Cajun sauce and garlic butter sauce (comes with 1 corn and potato every 2lbs you order). This maybe is one of the best crawfish place in the Sugar Land area. Not to mentioned how everything is reasonably priced too. They're currently running a special of 5lbs get 1lb for free. I ordered the lunch special with the spicy honey bbq wings and some extra shrimp with fries and broccoli. My aunt ordered the catfish nuggets, garlic parm wings, and chicken fried rice. The food was ready pretty quickly and everything came out hot, but the flavors just didn't hit right. The rice wasn't all that great, the garlic parm wings didn't taste strongly like garlic parm, more like regular wings with a sprinkle of seasoning on it, the fries were ok, and my spicy honey bbq wings were lack luster. Like the food wasn't bad but it just wasn't great and I think it has to do with the seasoning of all the food. My aunt liked the catfish nuggets and that was about it. First off all, when you walk in everyone speaks and says hello. I'm from Baltimore and that's rare. I was amazed a place like this would have a drive thru and the girl laughed as I was amazed lol. It's quarantine time and we could only do take out. And we really wanted some MudBugs (crawfish). The wonderful folks here fixed us up for lunch last Thursday. They were wonderful and a number of them were huge. The red potatoes were a bit big but tasty. Over all thank you for a wonderful lunch. Next time I'm buying more corn on the cob. I just found out about this place through Yelp. We are always looking for fresh seafood places. The place is a mom and pop style walk up counter. You can tell the food is made to order by someone who cares. The batter on the fish is wholesome cornmeal and the blackened isn't too over spiced. The "fried rice" is something special. Your mind questions, is this Mexican rice or Asian rice? It's neither! It's a unique blend of the owner's spice recipe. The owner was super attentive and explained his background to us. I was glad that this place is nearby my work! Seeing all the reviews, I wanted to try out the place myself. The first time I had cajun seasoning and garlic parmesan. The size of the wings were decent, but the taste was only so-so as I felt like the spices were just mainly on the outside. It is dry seasoning, but kind of was hoping the chicken would be tasty too. The second time I ordered, I chose buffalo and hawaiian, and these two were really good flavors. The wings definitely had more taste this time around, and I would re-order these two flavors again. I had also tried a bit of the cajun shrimp, and it was tasty. Definitely would like to see if other wing flavors would be good too. Yeah I'm not gonna lie the tests are OK I had the shrimp and chicken pasta but I promise you I feel like the shrimp are made of some type of plastic they taste very strange and it feels weird when you're chewing it I pulled a piece of some type of plastic out of my shrimp, I kid you not I bit into it and it was like plastic or some type of fiber was inside. I don't think I would ever get this dish agin . If anybody can explain what this was because I'm a little freaked out I have never experienced anything like this with shrimp. read more

Updating to 5 stars for their Alfredo pastas! They now offer chicken along with the shrimp Alfredo pasta, or you can get a combo of the two. They really cram as much pasta into the packaging and I can never finish it all at once. The pasta is always very creamy and the meat, whether chicken or shrimp, is cooked until tender. Not dry or overcooked at all. This is my favorite food to order here if I'm craving pasta. No need to drive to an Italian restaurant when I can support small local businesses. read more
