Drove past this place on our way to the Arboretum so we stopped by on our way home. We picked up some cake pops/balls from here for a dinner party we had later that night. I ordered a dozen and then decided to get one for myself for the road. The service was extremely nice and didn't even charge me for my extra cake ball. The mint chocolate chip tasted just like the Andes chocolate which I love!! I haven't had the cheesecake yet but I cant wait to try it.

Oooooo cheesecake Royale is the best! When you open your box of cheese cake and smell it for the first time you're truly in love with it at first smell and sight! I've delivered to the factory in dallas and it's so cool seeing all the cakes a must stop

This is the best place to get a Cheese cake, Tiramisu , and or any cake for that matter.. they bake them and freeze them..so when it thaws its so moist and fresh.. *I MUST WARN YOU..IT IS NOT FAT FREE..I CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY WEIGHT GAIN DUE TO CONSUMPTION OF THESE PRODUCTS. ANY LBS YOU PUT ON ARE NOT MY FAULT..:)* *ALSO most Dallas restaurants use there cakes and sell them as there desserts.. ...esp campisi's for there tiramisu..its really good and fair priced when a slice will cost u $4..u get the tray for 25... the cheese cakes and Tiramisu is awesome.., there tres leches cake is great too for parties ...Tiramisu is about $25 for a 12 by 9 inch tray..and the tres leches cake is $30 but its a big round cake.. They have a lot of cakes and always in stock, even choc cake, turtle brownies. right by doctors hospital. Cheesecakeroyale.com NOT ALL THE CAKES THEY HAVE ARE ON THE WEBSITE..YOU WOULD HAVE TO VISIT AND THEY HAVE A LIST ON THE WALL OF ALL THE ITEMS THEY SELL..THEY DO NOT HAVE CAKES SITITNG OUT, ITS ALL ON A BOARD LISTED..BUT THEY ARE ALL HIGH QUALITY Enjoy....

Red Velvet Cake: More moist than your average red velvet.

The first thing I noticed was how beautiful everything is. The décor is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. And yes...those are real trees. That actually matters to me. I love restaurants with a beautiful aesthetic because it makes the whole experience feel special. Good food is wonderful, but good food in a beautiful space? That's even better. The menu is perfect if you're dining with friends because there are so many things to share. We ordered the traditional sampler, and it was such a fun way to try several Guatemalan dishes. Every plate that came out looked fresh, colorful, and made with care. The cheese pupusa was delicious, and the cotija cheese was the perfect finishing touch. Then there were the plantains. I actually stopped our server to ask, "Do y'all make the plantains from scratch?" They do. And it shows. They were fresh, perfectly cooked, and so good that I kept reaching for another one. Honestly, they may have been my favorite thing on the table. The steak was cooked exactly medium, had a great char, and was full of flavor. Portions were generous across the board, which is always a win because leftovers are basically tomorrow's gift to yourself. The spinach artichoke dip surprised me. If you're someone who genuinely loves spinach, you'll probably be very happy because spinach definitely got top billing in that relationship. It tasted incredibly fresh, and it made me realize I apparently prefer my artichokes to be just a little more competitive. The service was warm and welcoming all evening. I ordered a red sangria that never quite found its way to the table, but honestly, by the end of the meal I was so full that my stomach had already voted "maybe next time." One of my favorite parts of the evening was learning more about San Martín's history. Knowing it began in Guatemala and is especially known for its bakery and breakfast immediately put breakfast on my "I need to come back for this" list. By the end of the meal, we were full, happy, and already talking about what we'd order next time. That's usually the sign of a restaurant I'll happily recommend. Beautiful atmosphere. Fresh food. Generous portions. Outstanding plantains. I'd give San Martín a solid 9 out of 10, and I'm already looking forward to coming back.

I was instantly reminded why it is such a Dallas GEM! I did not pop in to eat this time, but to find a nice spot to work with a friend on our laptops and yap over a coffee! And while we weren't planning to do much, the experience was still a 10/10! I ended up ordering a White Chocolate latte and it was AMAZING! You can tell they actually put time and effort into their coffee and lattes! Everything is also brewed fresh! Which I love! My friend ordered a artesian hot chocolate and wow! It was probably some of the best hot chocolate I have ever had! It was def made with real cocoa! We did end up splurging on some pastries, because DUH! It's it so hard to ignore the bakery section when it is so stunning and filled with beautiful baked goods! I got a oreo croissant and tortuga concha! I did not eat them (My bf did) but they looked so great! I did try my friends banana custard filled bread and that was great! I would go back for it! Overall, we ended up sitting inside of their beautiful space for hours, just talking and catching up! It was amazing and comfy! We def want to return for some of their dinner and drink specials too! Highly recommend!

I started with the croque monsieur, and it was exactly what I was craving. The cheese was perfectly melted and bubbly, and that hint of dill on top really pulled it all together. I also grabbed a slice of the lorraine quiche, which was incredibly savory with a crust that was so buttery and flaky it practically melted in my mouth. For dessert, the chocolate kouign-amann was a total standout, super crispy on the outside with those rich, sweet layers inside. I paired it with an iced chai latte, which was perfectly spiced and not overly sweet. They have a small outdoor seating section that is perfect for catching some fresh air while you eat. The whole experience felt so authentic and high-quality. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

The coffee is a nice addition but, the main attraction is the bakery! The bakery is in the Bishop Arts area so, you can find some free parking depending on when you visit. On the weekends, the line will move fast so, don't be afraid to wait.

Staying open late worked in my favor as I got through DJing a show. The establishment is modeled like it's someone's house who just wanted to turn it into a food spot. Very welcoming, the lady at the register who took my order was nice. While every selection made it hard for me to choose from, I ended up going with the Cloud 9 - butterscotch, caramel, brown sugar meringue. I took the slice to go as I was heading back to Tulsa. It was so good. Every bite. I couldn't get enough. The combination of those 3 components went well together. As I was looking up the menu on their website, I noticed that none of the selections were the same from when I had my slice. That indicated to me that they have a rotating menu. That's going to make me a returning customer because I can have something new to look forward to.

The crust was more like a savory pie crust instead of a sweet crumble, but there was plenty of crumble on top of the pie. It also had fresh apple slices inside. The only downside is that it's a bit small. In the Lime Light: More on the tart side, but really refreshing since it was served cold. It has a crumble crust and comes as a small pie slice. Great if you like citrus desserts. Service: Quick, friendly, and straightforward. Ambiance: Such a small, cute, and cozy pie shop. It was not very busy when we stopped by, but people would come in and out of the shop.

Low quality drinks (powder, generic syrup flavoring). Their bar workstation was insanely packed and dirty with large jugs of all sorts of colors. Some breads look like they were doused in food coloring while others had yummy representation. The apple pie bread was good and dense. Cake slices are good, not too sweet, and affordable compared to its well-known Asian bakery stores like 85C, PB, etc. I got the Oreo cheesecake and it was yummy, except no trace of cheesecake was found. The girls working looked like they hate their lives and radiated that energy off to me. Meh.
