Alright, got to say the ambience, service, and location is very nice. Food wise thought I understand that they mostly caters towards older customers but at least they should give you the option if you want them to cook your food with or without seasoning. It took us a few minutes to order, looking over all those delicious choices. We settled on iced teas and Red Baron appetizer to start. Then we added the salads for lunch - the Chain of Lakes and the Montrose Crunch! I need another paragraph to even explain the scrumptious ingredients! A great local hometown cafe. This place is usually packed on the weekends. We were happy to see they were open on a Tuesday for breakfast! We were welcomed by their friendly staff and were able to pick our own table. We picked the table in the window so we could enjoy the view of downtown Clermont. What a cute little restaurant! And again I have to thank Yelp because without it, I'd never have found this place. We came around ten on a Saturday, and both breakfast and lunch menus were available. We opted for the breakfast route, but I wanted to try one of the sandwiches so much, I ordered it to go. We started with a grilled blueberry muffin. I believe they're baked in house and you can tell, it's fantastic, and the way it's grilled (in four slices) combining with the sugar creates for a nice little crust. So delicious! Ordered the crab and shrimp benedict, it's served on a wonderful soft croissant. Not a lot of crab but plenty of shrimp, and good hollandaise. I was so happy with every single bite. The potatoes are lackluster comparatively, just potatoes. I ordered the Red Baron sandwich to go and reheated it for dinner. That was stellar too! Needs more buffalo chicken imo, but it's wonderful with the spinach and artichoke dip, and I gobbled every bite. Definitely coming back a hundred times! read more

Wife got muesli, a traditional European breakfast cereal. Served cold with milk and fruit. Optional to get it warm or with yogurt. Son had the traditional breakfast. Fantastic. Eggs were spot on, potatoes perfectly seasoned, toast was what appeared to be texas toast with an egg based bread like Challah. We got a couple sides of scrambled eggs for the carb conscious and they were kind enough to provide a side of salsa. Service was excellent. Would return without hesitation. Next time trying banana nut bread and apple streudel which they apparently do very well. All the plates going out looked beautiful. read more

We went to Cheeser's with a friend after another restaurant let us down. She had been there before and recommended it for us. It is almost a little difficult to identify. There is a generic sign that says 'Restaurant,' but no large sign saying the name of the place. Look for a picture on a window of a sort of cartoon lady showing a lot of leg. Also there was a sandwich board sign near the door with the name on it. It wasn't busy on this Friday noon and I am not sure why as it is a great place. Perhaps it was a residue of the ten days of hype about the hurricane that never really fully developed. The server was friendly and helpful as he answered a few of our questions. I checked in on Yelp as I often do, and was pleasantly surprised to have my drink be free as a result of that simple action. I ordered the Cahill Porter Beer Burger because the word Guinness in the description caught my eye. It was delicious, cooked just right and in their homemade ciabatta bun. The potato wedges cost $1.50 extra, but I thought it was worth it since the pasta salad and cole slaw didn't appeal. And the wedges proved also to be very good. My wife had the Thousand Lake Dressing Reuben and tomato basil soup and was happy with that selection. In addition to the bread, they make bakery items that are in a display case up front, but I resisted the urge to check it out as we had spent enough already. Next we think we will go back and try breakfast. One minor thing, I walked through a function room they have to get to the rest rooms, and I thought the function room smelled musty and stuffy. I totally made the right call. This is located in downtown Clermont, a small cute area. The baby ate scrambled eggs, potatoes and toast. I have yet to witness her devour her eggs that fast and her plate be so empty. My husband is traditional when it comes breakfast, so he had the traditional. It was gone before I even took a bite of my piece: the Caprese Benedict. Tomato, mozzarella, eggs on a croissant topped with hollandaise and balsamic reduction. This is only my 2nd experience with Caprese Benedicts (the last one I had included pesto at a different restaurant of course) and I am a fan! The flavors really meshed well together. There was a generous serving of mozzarella, which wasn't melted but very cheesy. I loved how it tasted. The meal comes with grits or potatoes - I picked the grits, regular, and added butter. Those were some thick or "gritty" grits. I think I prefer them this way, a bit thicker! I was stuffed and couldn't get to the bottom of the bowl, but those became my favorite grits. When you check in on Yelp, you get 1 free drink with an entree. I had the latte- no specific flavor- but it was so good. Perfectly sweet and powerful. Great addition to breakfast. read more

We just moved back to Clermont after years away. We decided we deserved a nice breakfast after our cross country drive, and wanted something local. I found Cheeser's on Yelp and was convinced! The ambiance is adorable, check the photo, the service was great the minute we walked in the door to paying the bill. We both had a Benedict which was served on a croissant instead of an English muffin, which made them a million times more delicious! The potatoes as a side, made extra crispy were incredible. A fun, family-owned eatery in the Clermont area. We've done a couple of 5ks in the area and we have ended up here each time. We enjoy the family feel and the fun downtown area. They have a simple, but solid, menu of offerings. Everything is made to order and they can usually adjust items if you need it for allergies or anything. They are very aware of the type of foods they use and try to only use natural, minimally processed foods, which is awesome! The staff is very much a family with each other and you can feel that the minute you walk in. They work together well and everything moves nicely.
