We just moved back to Clermont after years away. We decided we deserved a nice breakfast after our cross country drive, and wanted something local. I found Cheeser's on Yelp and was convinced! The ambiance is adorable, check the photo, the service was great the minute we walked in the door to paying the bill. We both had a Benedict which was served on a croissant instead of an English muffin, which made them a million times more delicious! The potatoes as a side, made extra crispy were incredible. We were told they are insanely busy on the weekends, but the weekday mornings are relaxing and steady. We will absolutely be back! read more

We tried this restaurant this morning on a whim. We were hungry and the reviews were positive. It seemed like a good bet. However, let me say that this place is absolutely fantastic. My husband had a scrambler and I had a smoke salmon sandwich. Delicious. The staff is quick and efficient with your food; you will not be sitting long. Ok - the outside is quite confusing because they don't have a big sign or banner that states Cheeser's Palace Cafe, there's just a big sign that says Restaurant, lol. On the door and window itself you will see a lady half naked on a cheese lol that's the place. The interior was very small and dated BUT they are very modernize. The waiter, Casey, pulled out an iPad mini and took our order which went straight to the kitchen, and that was cool! They also have a free first time comp drink when I checked in, and they do the cash back deals! Very cool. The food came out so fast! So I definitely got that diner feel which is ok! Wow - so I noticed they're known for their cheese so my cheese omelette tasted very great! The cheese was just very delicious and it had a great freshness to it. My husband had the croissant sandwich breakfast and it was certainly delicious too!! I did like their home fries, it had a great seasoning to it. Omg - my husband ordered the peanut butter chocolate cake and wow, it was delicious. Obviously, I lived their peanut butter icing. You can taste the butter whip of it but it was just spot on. We've found out 'spot'. Our kiddos attend theatre in the area and during their classes, we spend time at Cheeser's. We've grown to love this little place and its staff. It's like coming home, everyone is super friendly, the place is packed with regulars on Saturday mornings, and the food is yummy! We normally get up super early, so being able to order lunch during 'breakfast' hours is a huge plus. This time we had the Whiskey Burger and it didn't disappoint. Hubby ordered his med-rare and it was rate, but nothing they weren't willing to fix and he was eating his perfect burger moments later. The cheese is generous on this burger and it had two super thick slices that melted perfectly around the edges but stay firm in the middle to give it that extra kick. After getting a good sweat in, you have to recharge and consume some great food! Cheeser's Palace has been a staple in downtown Clermont for many years. The restaurant gives off a vibrant local, small town feel but is still able to show how modern it is. You sit yourself and are presented with an extensive menu that contains everything from French toast, to the various Eggs Benedict or the homemade crepes. They also have a number of various cakes, deserts, and pies for purchase as well. I do not believe they take reservations unless it is a huge party and they close relatively early (3:00pm). The servers are bright, prompt, and extremely friendly and the owner, Amanda has been a resident of Clermont for many years. Wonderful family restaurant in Downtown Clermont. Love the local, small town feel this restaurant gives. We stopped by after church on Sunday and strolled the farmer's market right outside afterwards. The menu offers many options between breakfast and lunch. During our visit, my group opted for lunch items although we were definitely tempted by the french toast! I ordered the chicken salad on croissant with the pasta salad side. It came with a pickle spear and it was all delicious. My grandmother opted for the half sandwich and soup combo. You can see in the picture, it still came out with a full croissant sandwich along with the tomato basil florentine. Unfortunately my grandfather dove into his sandwich so quickly we didn't even get a picture! My husband loved his Italian "Po Po" sandwich also paired with the pasta salad. The menu boasts this sandwich as a three time award winning sandwich complete with pesto mayo on ciabatta bread. We can't wait to come back! read more

Came here for breakfast, they did not disappoint. I had shrimp omelet and it was quite delectable. Grits needed a heap of salt and pepper but other wise still good. I love the real, old rustic look of this restaurant with the creepy black and white portraits! It's location is great, step outside and you are in the middle of the farmers market. I was going to be in the area (~45mins from where I live) and found this place on Yelp to try, and I'm so glad I did. Everything I had was excellent, from the chicken noodle soup (scratch noodles)... to the Noblemen Burger... to the Apple Strudel. All delicious! And they have gluten-free options, as well. I don't normally review places, and hate reviewing a small business bad, but with how high the reviews are I wanted to share my experience and hope it was just an off day. I went in for breakfast (around 10am) just me and small daughter. The ambiance was nice, place was mostly full (great sign) and the waiters were really nice. We ordered our food: strawberry and raspberry crepe and a kids half waffle and scrambled eggs, and a side of bacon. The food came super fast, less than 5 minutes from ordering which was amazing with a small kid. However, her food came to me cold. Not lukewarm, completely room temperature. The waffle had very obviously been prepared long before we ordered and eggs had just been under a warmer. (The outside was hot but the inside cold). I was annoyed, but it was okay, my kid is 2 and not super picky. I then got my crepe and initially thought it had olives on it, but it was grapes cut in the half..it wasn't just strawberry and raspberries, it was lots of really oddly choiced fruit for a sweet crepe. It had Strawberries, bananas, grapes, and the crepe was wrapped around (stuffed with) RAW apples. Just sliced and placed inside...then the "raspberry sauce" tased like the tortellini fake raspberry syrup. Maybe if the apples had been cooked a bit to soften them up? Might have been better, but it was just really, really bad. The bacon was the only thing that seemed like it had been recently cooked. I gave 2 stars for the service, the staff were super nice. But unfortunately the food was really bad. read more

My favorite place for breakfast! They have the best Nutella crepes! They have cheese platters also! Our favorite is the Italian cheese platter. The potato cakes can only be asked for on Sundays. Make sure to get there early-ish bc those fly and when they're gone, they're gone! Service is great, lots of hard working people! Whenever my parents visit they demand to go there just for the cheese grits, cheese platter and potato cakes. They offer muffins, get them grilled! It ups the flavor of them!
