Our first time trying this place, based on reviews, we expected so much, but it was a disappointment. It was recognized as the best grill in Tucson in 2018 and featured on Guy Fieri's show. But that was years ago. As we walked in, the restaurant, compared to other places we've been, lacked visual stimulation. The place was dull; the décor, tables, and chairs were very basic. Only one server worked the floor, and he even forgot our order. His excuse was that he wrote it on a different piece of paper. The food was okay, but there was no "wow" factor.

We got the chef's surprise here for 3 - it was essentially a giant meat platter with chicken breast, pork and beef sausages, gyro, and skewers over 3 different types of rice, broccoli with cheese, and salad. It was a lot of food and we had enough leftovers for several meals afterwards. All the meats were slightly on the saltier side; the chicken was kinda dry, but the gyro and skewer tasted pretty good.

Dishes were obviously being prepared by mom and dad in the back. Everything was fresh and made well! Cabbage salad was my favorite. Great homemade bread.

Arrived and sat by the windows. By the time I left this place was full.

Food is amazing. Staff cares and you can see it. Triple D got it right. Thank you for being true to your reputation.

    Mixed Grill for 4

Great little place in an unexpected location. Casual and fragrant atmosphere. This restaurant is BYOB, so bring your favorite wine to enjoy and the restaurant will supply the glasses. We ordered the mixed grill for 4 and brought home days worth of leftovers! Service is friendly and the food is savory, hearty and definitely tastes homemade. We will definitely return, to try more menu items.

Pictures of Guy Fieri and Chef Alisah in the restaurant and a great selection of Milka chocolates which are hard to find in the U.S.

Saw this place on Guy Fieri's DDD and I happened to be in Tucson so I had to try it. Fast service even though it is all cooked to order. Chef Alisah cooks everything. He was very nice. I was disappointed he was out of goulash though. I had the surprise platter. It was enormous, but it should be for $75. Divide that by the 4 people it serves and it's a good value for the quality of food.

I'm not familiar with Bosnian food, but it was a good experience. The restaurant is small and pretty modest. It's tucked away in a low key multiple story building that feels more like an office complex. My friend and I got the mixed grill for two and it allowed us to try a few different items. The portions were generous. The service was nice and polite. Definitely check this place out.

Cevapi - 10 sausages, and homemade bread

It took me 15 years of living in Tucson to finally give this place a try. After one meal, I'm kicking myself for waiting so long. First and foremost, the food was delicious. Between the Cevapi, Chicken Schnitzel, and bread, it really felt like I was eating a home prepared meal that was one of a kind. The purple paint on the walls and table setting...not super appealing. But, who am I kidding? If you're going here for a meal, it's for the food, and you will not be disappointed.

If you want to impress someone, this is the place to take them. They seem like they are protein focused due to their emphasis on quality steaks and seafood, but the plates have a wide variety of vegetables to accompany the protein. Root vegetables, asparagus, and the sauces really make the meal. It's not like going to a steakhouse where you get a lonely slab of meat - here you get a well-rounded plate. They forgot to add the dill at first but brought me some when I asked. I added my own sour cream that I make by draining my homemade dairy- free yogurt. I really enjoyed trying their sauerkraut as they make it quite different than the one I make so it was fun and interesting. I enjoyed the pierogies but wished there were more mushrooms in the filling for more mushroom flavor and juiciness. I also wished the onions were more caramelized and browned. The dough didn't make me emotional thinking of my Polish grandma (I literally was brought to tears when I had the soft and tender vegan pierogies at Red Rock Deli in Albuquerque) but it was definitely good still and I am happy they added a vegan option. I hope to see more! It seemed to me like the service here would be great. Adorable place! This beautiful restaurant is inside a building that opens into a small plaza where people can dine outdoors if they like. Its romantic but not arrogant and a very down to earth place. I have been here several times and this last time I was here, I came over after a sunset hike at Tumomac Hills. I sat at the bar and had a nice bartender take care of me. I had a PJ Margarita which was thirst quenching and refreshing after a hardy hike. I ordered the turnip salad and a side of frites. My turnip salad arrived and I gobbled up the goodness that can only happen with fresh veggies prepared this way and then waited for the frites. I got tired of waiting for the frites so asked the bartender to close me out. He asked if I wanted them to go and I said no. I should have better communicated that I wanted my salad and fries to arrive at the same time. Oh well, my mistake, no big deal. Bartender was very nice about it, took off the fries and also gave me 20% off HH pricing for my drink and salad. Overall, a good experience here, love the decor, and the pendant lighting at the bar is what drew me in initially. I'd definitely come back again when in Tucson. A mature and laid back place that still has style and class.

We were in no rush and we in no way felt hurried along. But if there was anything we needed, we didn't have to go in search of someone to help. Definitely enjoyed our time there.
