Service was slow despite not being busy. We watched one person leave and another couple opt to order to go at the counter after sitting at a table for 20 minutes. There have been a ton of renovations since I last came. Upgrades have been made to tables and booths have been added. It looks very beautiful. Got the shawarma plate which has rice, chicken, pita and salad. Rice was cold, chicken cold and underseasoned. The pita was cold and not grilled. My plate came with hummus but I switched for babba ganoush. Recipe changed and was not good. No flavor and desperately needed salt. Everything did. My friend got the shawarma fries which were ok but the best food we had. Cinnamon Chai tea came out hot in a glass jar. It was essentially boiling so I couldn't drink it until my meal was over. It was nasty. It wasn't brewed long enough and had zero flavor. No discernible spice. Very disappointing and boring. My friend was excited for his milkshake but that was also disappointing. It wasn't a milkshake but it WAS a smoothie. Not really what you want when ordering a milkshake. Ownership has changed and the food is very different now. Can be a little bit hard to get to if it's busy on University. Parking is a pain. BUT, the staff are very friendly, food is delicious and plentiful portions. They do a lot of takeaway business but have a pleasant indoor dining room with table service and outdoor seating. Open late and reasonably priced! read more

Ordered to go from here last Thursday night when watching a scream screaming off university. I got the Shawarma fries and they were really plentiful and flavorful. The service was also kind and helpful. This place is a mix of three different restaurants, and my second time visiting. I went back before I left the area to try and get validation for parking, as I did not while I was there, only to find that they were out of these tickets. Ordered this via DoorDash and it did NOT disappoint. The OG chicken wrap with the tenders was not my favorite, but if you're a picky eater or not a spicy food lover it's definitely a safe bet with minimal ingredients (also kindve reminded me of a mcchicken wrap!) BUT THE SHAWARMA FRIES.... So good, even with the 25 minute drive they were fresh and crispy still. If you're in the store I'd definitely get an extra drizzle of the heavenly sauce. Small place down at the U of A with delicious food! Good options for vegetarians. Enjoyed the lentil soup and falafel plate. Both I would definitely order again. The hummus was smooth and flavorful. Portions are large and would have had food to take home. Prices are a little more expensive than other comparable places but likely due to location. You do get to order from two different menus/restaurants inside the location so many options to choose from. The server was friendly but busy and a little slow seemingly due to door dash or similar as the restaurant itself only had a few tables seated. Fantastic little place with authentic middle eastern food. They had them best falafel I've had in Tucson and the hummus, baba ganoush, and dolmas were all wonderful too. My husband had the gyro and loved it, and our daughter throughly enjoyed her french fries and chicken shawarma. We'll definitely be back! This restaurant is housed in the Geronimo's restaurant but it seems like they've revamped it to more middle eastern rather than the bunch location. read more

I placed an order for my boyfriend and his team at his job. Although it wasn't really on the menu, the restaurant accommodated my request to make it a family style and made it very easy. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant to deal with. I wasn't there to pick up the food but my bf did tell me that everyone was wonderful. He and his team loved the food. The food is generally good, but there's an inconsistency -- when you order the same dish on a different day, it tends to taste slightly different. It's not bad, but it can be a bit disappointing. Overall, the food is enjoyable; however, one frustrating issue is that the owners don't allow the staff to keep their tips. We tried to tip our server, but the management collects all the tips instead, which feels unfair to the hardworking staff. They charge a 17 % tip to any table more than 2 people. read more
