    Falafel Plate
    Samantha L.

Small place down at the U of A with delicious food! Good options for vegetarians. Enjoyed the lentil soup and falafel plate. Both I would definitely order again. The hummus was smooth and flavorful. Portions are large and would have had food to take home. Prices are a little more expensive than other comparable places but likely due to location. You do get to order from two different menus/restaurants inside the location so many options to choose from. The server was friendly but busy and a little slow seemingly due to door dash or similar as the restaurant itself only had a few tables seated. Overall a great experience and will back again soon.

Small little place..a bit confusing with numerous names. Not sure if its arabic express or gyro king or geronimos. Service polite but very slow. I suspect he was very busy with online orders as the ding ding kept going off. We tried the lentil soup and falafel plate. Everything tasted great. Definitely enough for 2 people. Will be back for sure

Fantastic little place with authentic middle eastern food. They had them best falafel I've had in Tucson and the hummus, baba ganoush, and dolmas were all wonderful too. My husband had the gyro and loved it, and our daughter throughly enjoyed her french fries and chicken shawarma. We'll definitely be back! This restaurant is housed in the Geronimo's restaurant but it seems like they've revamped it to more middle eastern rather than the bunch location.

Food was amazing! We will definitely be back during our Tucson visits. The chicken was tender and flavorful without being too overwhelming with Mediterranean spice.

Quick shot: lime and pomegranate energy drink

This place is so great! The drink and food that I ordered were both beautiful and delicious. I had the quick shot, which is a lime and pomegranate energy drink with monster. It was sooo good, and the mint and berries were a wonderful touch! The falafel rice bowl had a generous serving. Everything was fresh and the service was great. 10/10

Slivers of moist seasoned chicken with 2 sides and warm pitas. Again have not veered from the 2 sides either, smoky baba ghanouj and silky smooth hummus over fries or side salad. Hubby is also stuck on his Gyro Deluxe $15.75 with Greek Salad. Has the most balanced dressing, just oily & tart enough but a tad sweet. Asked the owner, Reyna who is a delight btw, that I had met on our 2nd visit what exactly was in it...simply oil & vinegar turns out, the latter being Apple Cider not Red Vinegar..aha, the slight sweet. The menu has the Middle Eastern go-tos that we ordered but read along and discover it leans Jordanian and is quite extensive with family platters and stews. Notably too, their bar stocks several Middle Eastern beers, that we still need to pop. Dining Room is fairly small with a few tables and wall painted murals, and a couple of outdoor tables on the walkway in too. Unassuming location in the back of the strip mall, with ATL Wings and Peter Piper Pizza, across from Park Place Mall. Be sure to nav it here for fantastic Middle Eastern fare and maybe discover some new Jordanian dishes too...I'm working on it haha!

That all changed when I moved to Arizona and, after doing some trail rides, decided two years ago that I really wanted to learn how to ride. That's when I found Heart of the Horse, and it's been an incredible experience ever since. Lessons here are one-on-one and thoughtfully structured, blending arena work with trail riding--or both, depending on what you're working on. The property has its own scenic trails where you can walk, trot, and canter, plus access to extended trails along a wash for longer rides during lessons. You can choose between English or Western disciplines, and every instructor I've worked with has been kind, knowledgeable, and exceptionally patient--especially appreciated since I started at age 39! What really sets Heart of the Horse apart is how much they prioritize horsemanship. Each lesson begins with grooming and tacking up your horse, which I genuinely enjoy. It's a refreshing change from typical trail rides where you just hop on and go. Taking that time allows you to bond with your horse, and I love being able to spend extra moments with them before and after lessons to say thank you--they really do carry us around with so much grace. The horses themselves are absolutely wonderful, each with their own unique, quirky personality. And the ranch? It's peaceful and shaded, with a cooler, breezier feel compared to the rest of Tucson. Lessons are offered in the mornings and evenings on weekdays and in the mornings on Saturdays--I personally love the early morning sessions. If you're in Tucson and want to truly learn how to ride, not just sit in the saddle, I can't recommend Heart of the Horse enough. It's been such a rewarding, joyful journey.

The ranch is beautiful, and just five minutes from my house. The horses are beautiful, healthy, and well-cared-for.
